Shadowspire! It is time to hear some parting words from the Top Lunger of the Arena.
I am Terminator. Oh, were you expecting someone else? No matter. First, I'd like to
mention that I nearly added a fifth kill to my record after the way I brutalized
Yoshi, and clearly he is in cahoots with the Arenamaster. Also, if it is true that we
are all living in a simulation, then I feel Skynet may have set the following
parameters for me:

Now there may, or may not be another exit interview written in text below, and let me
just remind you, dear readers, that anything more would be just that...beneath me.
SPY REPORT
Welcome back and all that other jazz the spy reporters like to spout off in the
openings of these things. Do we get paid by the word? Oh, we do? Well then, that is
something entirely different. Greetings to all of you gladiators and managers! In
the interest of inclusion and personal finances, let me call out to each of you by
name! To our dearest Duelmaster . . . okay, okay! I'll find a different way to get
paid! Alright, let's jump into this turn's news. I think we are going to go with an
Advanced Duel feel today to mix it up a bit.
Our title fight this turn was a bit of a letdown! I told you that Ridwan was mediocre
at best, he didn't even show up for his final fight in the arena. So, our title fight
came down to a match between:
WALKEN (81-3318) (17-14-0,101) of CLAN LONGBEARD challenged BARANACLE BILL (81-3089)
(18-3-0,107) of SHANGHAIED. WALKEN viciously subdued BARANACLE BILL in a 3 minute
expert's Challenge Title brawl. Walken is also our top Parry-Lunge and BB is our top
Total Parry. Talk about getting your money's worth on a fight! This one was pretty
exciting considering you had 2 warriors with "parry" as their style going at it.
Gemini Croquette is our top Wall of Steel. He just so happened to fight another Wall
of Steel. I guess to decide who is the best or oldest or whatever it is Wastes do for
fun. CRUX GEMMATA (81-3382) (13-10-0,94) of DARQUE AGES fought GEMINI CROQUETTE (81-
3282) (20-17-2,100) of OTTO'S DINER. CRUX GEMMATA was vanquished by GEMINI CROQUETTE
in a 1-minute one-sided fight.
Another one of Otto's is the top Slasher in Shadowspire. HOTTER POCKET (81-3305) (20-
14-3,91) of OTTO'S DINER fought VETERAN MERCENARY (81-17) (0-0-0,80) of Arena Stand
Bys. HOTTER POCKET overpowered VETERAN MERCENARY in a 1-minute uneven duel. Not much
to say about this one. Is there an age limit to being a Veteran Mercenary? Do you
get a pension and paid by the arena?
Hombre manages our top Basher. It looks like he is paying attention too. Active
managers are always a blessing to the arena, have you seen some of these other places?
MANDROID (81-3295) (15-13-1,87) of THE COMMODORES challenged HELEN BADE (81-3021) (16-
11-0,84) of SHANGHAIED. MANDROID vanquished HELEN BADE in a 1-minute one-sided
Challenge fight.
Looks like DeGotti manages our top Striker. Stones was involved in one of the more
interesting fights for the week, as you will see by the fight details. PRINCE HOYT
(81-3263) (23-18-0,88) of BIG LAKE SOLUTION challenged STONES (81-3431) (7-7-0,71) of
CULT OF BACCHUS. PRINCE HOYT was viciously subdued by STONES in a 5-minute uneven
Challenge duel. Not only did Prince Hoyt go down 17 points, but he also wasted his
time and did not even get the win! Stones was also our turn's most popular warrior.
We have yet another Otto's Diner warrior on our list! Is Otto spiking the food over
at the Diner? TOMAHAWK (81-3055) (16-22-3,89) of KILL 'EM ALL challenged ME COLI (81-
3439) (9-4-0,92) of OTTO'S DINER. TOMAHAWK overpowered ME COLI in a 1-minute uneven
Challenge melee. In a rare move, Weirdo's warrior challenged up. To further add to
the shock, Tomahawk won!!
The top Parry-Strike is . . . wait, people still use the Parry-Strike style? This
can't be correct. I think my golems are malfunctioning. Really?! A Parry-Strike?!
Ahem, looks like Master Darque has the top Piker and his name is Snollygoster.
Everything about this is just ridiculous. Let's stop here.
Our last stylemaster is the Lunger. BROKEN BLADE (81-3494) (6-1-1,46) of MIRKWOOD
ORCS challenged GRERDAS (81-3461) (6-3-0,47) of MEMORY. BROKEN BLADE was defeated by
GRERDAS in a 2-minute Challenge struggle. Not sure about Broken Blade, but the record
is impressive. This looked to be a standard challenge and an excellent fight. I will
be watching both of these with interest in the future.
Alright, let's wrap this up with the big finish! Pray the Gods, AHEM, the absent Pray
the Gods guild was the most avoided. They were mostly avoided by Clan Longbeard. The
most challenged warrior was Ilyena from Vincere Aut Mori III, one of Toker's crew.
Les Mortimer got the call and was able to beat the more experienced Ilyena.
See you bums next time! Walken gets to defend the title. Gladiators get to fight for
our amusement. Many of you probably did not notice that Parry-Ripostes were missing
from the list. See? No one cares! We didn't have any new graduations this turn, but
we bid goodbye to Ridwan and Terminator. Maybe I got the names right this time.
