that's a bit much of an opening to a spy report, but we keep trying to make magic

The title fight came down to a challenge match, which is usually a good thing. I
say usually because it can give some indication that people are paying attention in
the arena. Mandroid challenged Prince Hoyt for the throne. It is the classic Basher
vs. Total Parry match-up, which if we are honest can go either way. I know the
advantage should be to the Basher, but I also know fight histories, so I cannot use
the word "advantage" and Basher in the same sentence without a few qualifying
statements. So, with all that said, congratulations to Mandroid for overcoming Prince
Hoyt and becoming the newest Duelmaster of The Spire! Mandroid is managed by Hombre.
Den didn't light a fire under Prince Hoyt and give us a Duelmaster's column, so
maybe Hombre won't disappoint us and motivate Mandroid to give a victory + farewell
speech! Yes, it can be a 2-for-1 special as Mandroid got his invite to the Isle of
the Eye. Speech! Speech! Speech!
Okay, we have gotten some positive feedback for the stats listings, so we are
going to keep doing them for the foreseeable future. Here is all the relevant data

My golems are mum on who is the most challenged warrior this turn. This
typically means there was a tie or no one bothered to challenge. Well, I know the
latter part is false, so there was most likely a tie. WOW! I was right but
completely wrong in my assumptions! There was a tie for most challenged (I was RIGHT)
- but no one was challenged more than once! I did not see that one coming. You know,
I do not think I have ever seen that in all my years of spy reporting. Someone always
hates ONE guy or gal more than the others. Is this a sign you guys are getting softer
on me?
I do know that Literate Loons was the most avoided team. We still have that,
don't we or did you just decide to stop avoiding too?!?! Vincere Aut Mori III avoided
them the most. I would assume with an old name, they might approach the fights in an
old-school way. Who knows at this point, you gents are making my head hurt! So, that
might be my cue to split!

fights, learn a lesson or something. You know, I really hope to give you some
practical advice rather than the fortune cookie drivel you normally get in these
reports. Then I realized, I love fortune cookies! I mean is it a cookie? Is it a

of going to cookie school or medical school, it just hung out with its loser friends.

We hope you will join us at our summer FTF in Cincinnati, Ohio, July 16-18, 2021. It
will be held at the Embassy Suites Cincinnati Rivercenter on the banks of the Ohio
River (actually in Covington, Kentucky (866-344-7548). Room rates are $139.00 per
night for kings, $179 for doubles, which includes full cooked breakfast, complimentary
manager's reception, free parking and free high speed internet. There's a fitness
center, jacuzzi, and pool. The rooms are blocked--the code is "RS1" (note that's RS
one not RSI).
The official block cutoff is mid June so make your reservations ASAP!

Please note that doubles are limited. As always, if the block is full, please make
your reservation the best you can (book a king, and/or book at normal rates) and let
us know and we'll work with the sales office to get them to correct your reservation.
The tournament info sheet and minioverviews will be out in June. We are very looking
