Notes from the arena champ.
Greetings my fellow warriors!
In order to prevent Weirdo serenading us all for 3 hours on a kazoo, here is my first
official DM Column!
I am rather surprised to see myself up here on the throne so early in my career. I
mean, I know I'm good an all, but I do have deficiencies, being a PS and all!
Mandriod, sorry, you really didn't have a chance in that battle, hopefully that stat
train will help you in the future. I need to thank Helen Bade for her relentless
challenges that made me a better warrior! After I destroyed her a few turns back I
knew I had turned the corner in my gladiatorial career.

SPY REPORT
Finlegh hangs onto the title, though he did have more than a few callers this turn.
The Challenger Champions were packed in tight last turn and looking for an opportunity
to sit in the big, comfy chair atop the arena! Who was it that got the final call to
face our Duelmaster? It was Crux Gemmata! What did Crux do with this opportunity? I
can't really say he blew it, but he blew it! Yeah, it lasted 2 minutes, but when the
bout was over, Finlegh is still our Duelmaster. No invitation to the Isle, so Finlegh
will be back for a title defense next turn. The line of competitors looks smaller,
but no doubt one of them will be striving for glory.
Surprise! Surprise! Okay, no one is surprised! Pray the Gods is the most avoided team
once again. They were mostly avoided by . . . yeah, you probably know this one too!
They were mostly avoided by Kill 'Em All. It looks if Kill 'Em All's own Rat Catcher
was this turn's most challenged warrior. How did that work out for him? NOT TOO GOOD
is the shout from the stands! It actually wasn't a challenge to Rat Catcher, but his
own challenge that brought death and dishonor to the Kill 'Em All guild house.
RAT CATCHER was easily killed by JAMES DICKEY in a 1-minute uneven Challenge fight.
The only thing that can make this more tragic is . . . well, I can't think of anything
to make this more tragic. The career and eventual demise speak for themselves. There
will also be no Bloodfeud as James Dickey, now a Lord Protector makes his way for the
Isle of the Eye after today's fights.
