SPY REPORT
It's me, The Unknown Spymaster, back to give you this week's Spy Report. Sit
back in your seats and we'll have more fun than a barrel of Zontanis. Say good-bye
to DARQUE AGES, as they are pushed from the coveted top team spot by the CLAN
LONGBEARD stable. For every winner there is a loser. Speaking of losers, lets take
a look at INEBRIATION, who went down to 3rd from 12th. Life is tough. Coming up
with a solid 2-3-0 outing, THE COMMODORES has advanced 5 places in the rankings.
CLAN LONGBEARD is no joke as it posted a 5-0-0 week advancing from 2nd place to 1st
place. Hey everybody, watch out for ZEHDEA, who flew up 21 points in the rankings
after mashing MERA like a melon. Keep your eye on this guy. And falling like a
basher in the top ten was ASTINIUS, who dropped 18 points after a disappointing (to
say the least) bout with FANDAINCH. SNOLLYGOSTER got through to the Duelmaster this
turn. No doubt it was more than anxious to kick CURIOUS AGGRESSION's tail out of the
throne! In front of all the crowds, SNOLLYGOSTER took the Duelmaster's crown for its
own. I give the bum two weeks. Advice to bashers--never force anything, just get a
bigger halberd!
But enough of that bunch, let's get on to the wimps who like to avoid battle!

THE GODS beats feet every time KILL 'EM ALL smiles at them. Try farming, eh? And
who is this THOMAS MERTON you ask, with 95 points and a 15-11-1 record. Ooh, the
tales I could tell! Challenging down 32 points was BODYBAG. Pretty soon he'll be
using two shields and selling 'T.P.: The only way to clean up' pins. Here is a
definition of happiness: ALLEN MIELKE overcame BODYBAG to go from 1 to 23
recognition points. In a touching display by a 'touched' warrior, HELEN BADE went
after THOMAS MERTON, who was higher by 21 points. Well, when the dust settled, HELEN
BADE was bested by THOMAS MERTON. THE REPLACEMENT of BIG LAKE SOLUTION had better
have a good reason for challenging down 11 points in a challenge which he lost. I
thought THE REPLACEMENT showed great skill and promise when he was subdued by SYLMAR.
All right, so I slept through it! Big deal!
Death is kind of like a new puppy: he's always around wanting to play. (Ha
Zontani, how's that for a wise saying?). This week 8-13-2 ROBBY WAGNER was sent to
the Dark Arena. I know a lot of fighters with similar records who might take notice
of this. Yesterday I talked to the SHANGHAIED's manager and CROWN VANILLA, slayer of
GIRLY DECKHAND. The manager: 'I think I can, I think I can'. CROWN VANILLA: 'I
already did'. In the 'Oops, What Have I Done?' category, THE REPLACEMENT was mashed
by SYLMAR, who let THE REPLACEMENT know that killing members of WICKED MARTYRS is a
no-no. Congrats to RICKY SCHMIDT for revenging the death of his teammate (but more
importantly, feeding CATERINA SFORZA a bit of dirt). Ask not the elves for counsel,
for they will say both yes and no. Silly buggers, eh?
Well, that wasn't too bad; Alarond told me that the people in SHADOWSPIRE have
no sense of humor. Or maybe that they were senseless. Okay, so I may not be the
world's best comedian, but then you guys aren't the world's best warriors. Its been
