I would like to offer my sincere apologies to the family and to this court . . . wait,
wrong speech. Ahem, welcome to Shadowspire! it is good to see all of you bums (and
some non-bums) again. Has it been 2 weeks already? Time flies when you don't want to
be somewhere. Anyway, welcome back where we will discuss fights, bitter rivalries,
armor chaffing, and a few inexplicable odors. Let's get to it!
Lord Protector Jim Tully finished his career in The Spire with a match against Leeroy
Jenkins. Leeroy had the fight advantage by 10, but JT was now a Lord Protector, so he
had the advantage of inside Commission information. Which is better? If this find is
an indication, you want the insider information! Jim took down Leeroy in 4-minutes.
Leeroy was denied the throne, so we now look elsewhere for our title match.
Our actual title fight was between two other Challenger Champions. Xobias matched up
with Narsil, and this 5-minute bout became the deciding factor in crowning a new
Duelmaster. Narsil was able to outwait Xobias and make a return trip to the most
coveted seat in Shadowspire. Congrats to Narsil, who is managed by Boss Orc.

Shadowspire managers that have disappointed their parents: 100%
There isn't much to report in the rankings. Some teams are only holding onto their
place by the skin of their teeth. Our top two teams remain the same with Madness and
Mirkwood Orcs holding tight. OHS Alumni made a huge jump from 14th place to take over
3rd. Darque Ages also had a modest gain moving into 4th from 8th. Cult of Bacchus
feel 2 spots, but hold on and close out the top 5 teams. We have 13 active teams with
NBA Legends being the only absentee for today's fights.
Kill 'Em All is once again our most avoided team, but it isn't Pray the Gods running
from them today. Clan Longbeard avoided them the most. Both teams have more than a
few warriors in the Champions+ range, so maybe that plays into the strategy. The most
challenged warrior today is Kaibosh. Rich Hoyt went up in the rankings by 13 points,
which I think is our 2nd largest up-challenge to face Kaibosh. It did not end as Rich
wished since Kaibosh gets the win in a rather one-sided fight.
Time for me to go. I got this court thing I need to deal with before the local
authorities come looking. Bribes don't go as far as they once did in this place.

5-0 turn!! Nice. I think that's the first one in here and it feels great. Broken got
his challenge through and won a close one against Shirley Jackson and learned a whole
ship load of skills and got three new ratings, single best turn since I came back to
the game I think, well aside from my Primus warriors first turn when she learned like
seven skills..that was pretty dope too. RPB got his challenge as wellB against
Steinar and moved to .500 and managed three skills to boot. Laudina won a random match
against Handy Roytt and moved one closer to .500 and also learned three skills and
continues to impress me with her nearly 3 skill per fight learning streak. Tiny Tim
won a scum victory over Rest in Peaces, I almost feel guilty when he wins because
well, it's a scum TP and they bore me. Percy won his debut which is nice but as for
any long term potential? We shall see. Sorry I was quiet last turn. I had a lot on my
