SPY REPORT
Here we are again in The Spire! It is good to see most of you back on the sand today.
Well, it is always good to see the warriors on the sand, but the ugly mugs in the
managers' boxes make me question my job. Anyway, I guess it is good to see you all
the same because that means that it is arena day, and we got to watch some fights!
Always a good time to be had in the arena! Let's see all that went down in The Spire
today.
Snake Eyes has cause to stand proud as he came into this turn as our Duelmaster.
Taking over the reins last turn, our quiet champion had the opportunity to show
everyone that his title was more than a fluke. Sailsa made a play for the Duelmaster's
chair but was quickly dismissed by Snake Eyes. Congrats to him and his manager,
Master Beru! Adding to the celebration, Snake Eyes also received a letter from the
Commission and an invitation to the Isle of the Eye. With the doubly good news,
hopefully, our champion is buying doubles for everyone at Otto's tonight!
The most avoided team is the newly reactivated Inebriation. Philthy's crew was mostly
avoided by Toilet Paper. I know there is a joke in there somewhere, but it is
escaping me at the moment. The most challenged warrior, less popularly known as
"Everyone's Favorite Target," is no one. There were a total of 16 challenges issued,
but no warrior was challenged more than once. It is good to see the arena active with
challenges. However, it makes for a bad news day when one particular warrior is not
attracting the ire of his colleagues!
The good, the bad, and the ugly is an apt description for The Spire. The good for this
turn is we celebrate our first team to 1000 wins. Darque Ages becomes Shadowspire's
first 1k-win team. From the looks of the rankings, Cult of Bacchus is fast
approaching the milestone. Now to the bad! We had 4 deaths today, and none of them
were in the Dark Arena. NBA Legends and Thirsty Thugs felt the sting of death the
most by losing experienced arena warriors. I'm confident Big Lake Solution and
Literate Loons didn't feel great about their losses either, but losing a 2-3 fight
hits a bit lighter than losing a 37-fight warrior or 15-fight warrior with 2 previous
kills. Condolences to the dead, and good luck to the feuders if they choose that route
next cycle.
Alright, it is time for me to get out of here. I want to close with a second congrats
to Stormclaw of Dragonbane Guild. He also received an invitation to the Isle along
with our Duelmaster. The Spire's top will certainly be more open next time with these
two leaving us for greener pastures or whatever is on the Isle. It could be greener
water; I'm not sure. Whatever! We will be seeing you two, and we will crown a new
Duelmaster in a few weeks. Come back and see who the lucky bum is that takes over as
our champion.

The guy barely strings three words together at a time most times, but
apparently being the Duelmaster makes him loquacious!
He wanted me to mention he is challenging Ahna Misstep, due to her
recognition. However, he suspects she will continue to be tied up with the
Far Travelers and that Lucruzia... situation. The boss told us to prepare
for a new rookie because he is confident
that Snake Eyes will be getting an invitation next turn to go to the
Isle. We'll see. As for the rest of us, York and I feel pretty good about
packing up for the Isle before the end of the summer. If Big Brother gets
out of that pint glass, perhaps he makes
the move around then also. At that rate, who knows, the Fridge may be
