I, Novgorodny Vir, have returned! TWISTED OAK? Who? METAL is the top team these
days, buddies! Perhaps it is ROOKIE ARMADA 42 members' intannibility that enabled
them to move from 24th to 4th last week... (Less time in the sun...) Like a chunk of
francium heaved into a wet pond, POKER STARZ 2 blew up the rankings to 22! Managers
were muttering after THIRSTY THUGS 713 showed DWES EG what they could do: 1-0-0 to
move up by 23. Rumor has it an incurable disease has swept the stable of TWISTED
OAK. Note their drop in the rankings from 1st to 12th. Watch out!!! Perhaps it is
ROOKIE ARMADA 117 members' intannibility that enabled them to move from 40th to 15th
last week... (Less time in the sun...) Thinking about sending their team manager to
the Dark Arena is ROOKIE PINK 14, after suffering a 12 drop in ranking. The boys at
STONED ROOKIES 61 aren't the happy-go-lucky bunch we all know and love, after
suffering a 14 drop last week. Like a chunk of francium heaved into a wet pond,
ROOKIE CULT 9 blew up the rankings to 18! Managers were muttering after BIG STRONG
MEN showed DWES EG what they could do: 1-0-0 to move up by 17. Rumor has it an
incurable disease has swept the stable of ROOKIE PINK 44. Note their drop in the
rankings from 21st to 34th. Watch out!!! Practice pays for CORPORAL CLEGG, who
pummelled BLIND HATRED, to pocket 24 points. BLIND HATRED certainly had a baffled
expression on his face, after losing to CORPORAL CLEGG and losing 23 points in the
process! BRONZE successfully staved off a grab for the roses by MOONLIGHT MILE of
STONED ROOKIES 61. Does DWES EG have no one talented enough to dethrone him? So who
was the warrior seen charging into immovable walls and challenging dead trees?
Someone's got a basic problem...
My mother wished me to avoid conflict, and seek the gentle trade of Spyreporter.
But warriors aren't supposed to avoid fights! Like a horde of jackals fleeing from
the lion, so did the "warriors" in DWES EG avoid TWISTED OAK. The warriors of
TWISTED OAK found their efforts at combat frustrated as CRIMSON RAGE apparently had
more important things to do than fight.
Ah, the duel! The roar of the oppenent, the smell of the crowd!
Congratulations, STEEL. The manager of ROOKIE ARMADA 25 should have sent THUNDERMUCK
to the Dark Arena for having a 11-13-0 long ago. Ask not a spymaster for counsel,
for he will pontificate long after you have fallen into an unconscious stupor.
All good things must come to an end. As the seasons change, and the creatures
of the wild change also, so do I feel a yearning to leave this place. Like a mixed
