Greetings warriors! It is I, Zontani Sharp Eyes, here to bring report of the
clash and bustle of the weekly DWES EG games. The proverbial rising comet can only
hope to compare with ROOKIE CULT 42's team record! A 1-0-0 week and now a firm grasp
on a 10th place ranking. I have begun to suspect trickery on the part of ANGRY
CHICKEN. How else weeks like this one's 1-2-0? How else the sudden move to 12th
team? The proverbial rising comet can only hope to compare with THE BLACK LEAGUE's
team record! A 1-4-0 week and now a firm grasp on a 15th place ranking. I have
begun to suspect trickery on the part of BIG STRONG MEN. How else weeks like this
one's 1-4-1? How else the sudden move to 16th team? The proverbial rising comet can
only hope to compare with MADNESS' team record! A 1-0-0 week and now a firm grasp on
a 29th place ranking. My tutors were fond of telling me that the higher you rise the
harder you fall. This week TEMPERED EDGE went 0-1-0 and fell 14 notches into 30th!
BLOODSWORDS bore the brunt of major assault on their standings this week as they
dropped to 31st position as the result of going 0-1-0! CAPTAIN SAFEWAY caught the
eye of many in the gladiatorial commission as she skillfully bested OSPREY and was
awarded 19 points in recognition. In one of the week's more notable duels, CAPTAIN
SAFEWAY put down OSPREY, causing him to lose 18 points of recognition in the process.
Although SLYCE made a valiant effort, it did not suffice to topple the reign of
victorious STORMSHOCK. Heed this! A seer has warned that if exactly 6 die in duels
this week, the whole city shall perish! Just remember...5 or 7!
Many and various are the arts of battle. In DWES EG "art" is a word that has
long since passed from the language! My inside sources tell me that the team to beat
in DWES EG these days is BLOODSWORDS. At least, most blades in town are looking to
avoid them. If you didn't look down dark alleys you'd have been hard pressed to find
any of SUICIDAL WINDS last week. Busy avoiding BLOODSWORDS? A match that raised a
few eyebrows at the games this week, it seems that SEVEN OF NEIN posted a challenge
against the more highly recognized GREEN PAPER. The results, you ask? Well, the
firebrand SEVEN OF NEIN was defeated by GREEN PAPER. Remember warriors, this is the
discipline of steel.
What warrior does not hone his years, impatiently waiting for the moment of his
foe's mortality? AVALANCHE has sworn to take up religion upon living to tell of his
recent bout with the Dark Arena horrors. A rare thing indeed! Some say a warrior is
judged by the way he bears arms. One thing is sure, better a dagger in hand then a
sword on the belt!
If it were not for my skills as a spy I would have been mugged three times
already in DWES EG. Nice atmosphere you have here! More than a sharp eye must I
keep, indeed a stout pair of legs must I keep as well! The endless paths of Alastari
