DUELMASTER'S COLUMN
Notes from the arena champ.
It's like really so cool that I'm duelmaster but really like not so cool that I
had to beat the Fratsfan Slave to do it. Cuz I'm like really serious about this, and
I think it's really important that everyone knows that I think slavery's like really
not that hot a thing, even when it comes to the Fratsfans who like really aren't that
bright or even smart or capable of taking care of themselves or anything like that at
all. But even so I think it'd be better to not like make them slaves but just like
let them be servants and laborers and stuff. I've always been like really liberal
that way, and I just think if we just like forced more Fratsfans to work hard instead
of doing the slave thing we'd all be better off.
Like we could really just make the Fratsfans dig graves cuz Telorinthe has
gotten so like violent and bloody lately and people are just like dying everywhere
and we need someone to start digging holes where they're gonna live, cuz I really
think dead people would be much happier in like big deep graves so that they can like
stretch out and relax. I mean just look at Osserc he was like totally in shape and
like 9' tall and I'm sure he'd like really rather be in a big grave with room to like
practice fighting, and play basketball, and pick coconuts and things like that. And
it just goes to show like how short and not just long life is, cuz anyone can die at
anytime, especially when they're Fratsfans who like really aren't that important
anyway. But Osserc wasn't a Fratsfan he was like a duelmaster, or really important
person, or in other words VIP, and it's like really sad that he's gone now cuz Lotus
Eater was like trying to hit his knee and not his throat, but who could know that
such a strong and powerful and big boned hottie could be like so frail?
And anyway the competition's like so much funkier now and I really have to be
like aware of the avoids and the not avoids and just like be the coolest duelmaster I
can possibly be and not really worry about all the haters and naysayers or people who
say no. And that's really it, cuz Telorinthe's like really the hottest arena around
and I hope and like almost pray that it'll be around for a long time or more
importantly at least until I graduate.

SPY REPORT
Busy, busy, busy, lots of things happening in TELORINTHE this turn, and let's
start with a look at some of the teams. Now keep the taverns open late tonight, for
there are sorrows to drown for THE ASCENDANTS, whose 2-3-0 this turn dropped them by
4 into 6th. DEATH'S CHOSEN stable has parlayed this turn's 3-2-1 into a 5 space move
up the rankings. This brings them up to 5th place. Good work, guys! And let's see,
TOGG fought WASNIS and gained 14 points and contributed to THE ASCENDANTS' 2-3-0.
KAS OF YS has lost to GENERICKY, falling 10 points, while helping make ZEITGEIST a
1-4-0 turn. Defending hers title for another turn, GOSSIPID kept ZEITGEIST's
warrior, CYCLIDIA, from claiming the throne. By the way, was that our Duelmaster
that I saw last night, cramped under the table at The Warty Toad?
The crowd's roar, the smell of iron and leather, mixed with sweat, what more
could a warrior ask of life? Well, besides that. ZEITGEIST has cause to stand tall,
as they were TELORINTHE's most avoided team. A smart manager knows this is a team to
beat. And guess who avoided ZEITGEIST stable the most? Believe it or not, it was
DEATH'S CHOSEN. Anyone surprised? The most challenged warrior this turn was OLDIES'
warrior LETTER SWEATER. More fighters challenged him than challenged the Duelmaster!
In a brave attempt, KNOW AND DESPAIR from WAITING FOR DAWN challenged up 25 points to
fight GOLDEN SOMBRERO from the BAD SIGNS stable. KNOW AND DESPAIR perhaps got hers
just desserts, seeing as she lost to GOLDEN SOMBRERO and ended up with 26 recognition
points. SIMPLETONGUE of INVIDIOTS had better have a good reason for challenging down
10 points in a challenge which he won. I thought SIMPLETONGUE showed great skill and
promise when he defeated MAKE ME HOLY AGAIN. All right, so I slept through it! Big
deal!
A coward dies a thousand deaths, a brave man only once. Wise men know this to
be true. Banners at half mast, warriors, BAD SIGNS has lost 3RD AND 98, and you
might say all of TELORINTHE has felt the loss, except maybe DEATH'S CHOSEN. AAAARRGH
HAMMERZ, with any luck ZEITGEIST will successfully bloodfeud ROYAL RAGE HAMMER for
killing such a warrior as LADY BLUE. Have a little decency, will ya? This is the
stuff legends are made of. LYRIAL has killed 3RD AND 98, a 7-3-0 warrior of BAD
SIGNS. I hear DEATH'S CHOSEN welcomes a bloodfeud challenge. Congratulations go out
to OLLIS HEROES, with BUZZ revenging a bloodfeud against LETTER SWEATER of OLDIES.
Kudos go out to ROYAL RAGE HAMMER this turn, for revenging AAAARRGH HAMMERZ's
bloodfeud against ZEITGEIST's warrior LADY BLUE. Well done. Is it really true that
TELORINTHE has more dishwashers per capita that fighters? Just thought I'd ask...
