Notes from the arena champ.
After twelve times at this perch, one gets full of writing and just plain runs
out of words. So, I'm with you all. Get me outta here, Commission! Get me outta
here!
I do want to give a shout out to graduating Lord Protector Gushan who ended his
career on a gutsy, parting-shot, deep seventeen point down-challenge. It takes all
kinds. He needs to get to Confession badly.

SPY REPORT
I was going on vacation, see? Surf, sun... But what do those bums say? "Hit
the road, Debby Tonte. TELORINTHE needs a spyreport." Oh, well. I don't wanna hurt
anybody's feelings or anything, but NONSUCH HOUSE really goofed with their 2-3-0.
MVP award for HELGA HOARFROST? ZEITGEIST's proud of her after beating CUSTODIAN and
getting 21 points. Talk about yer major upsets! CUSTODIAN's match with HELGA
HOARFROST cost him a loss of 17 points! Oh, wow, like the Duelmaster must be the
most popular beast in all TELORINTHE. It got the most challenges. (But what about
proposals?) MORWEL thinks hers 13-14-0 and studly character is good enough to face up
to the Duelmaster. Any bets? This Duelmaster is like something else! CONFESSION
stopped MORWEL dead in hers tracks! Is the Duelmaster really being a real snob to
his teammates? Don't ask me!
I gotta admit I haven't been in "deep con caves" with any spies. Really, I just
wing this stuff. The warriors of ZEITGEIST must be getting lonely. They were the
most avoided team. Do you guys know something that I don't? Is there some deep dark
secret why DEATH'S CHOSEN's been avoiding ZEITGEIST so much? Or is it just that
they're too scared? For sure, I was holding my breath when I found out REVENANT
challenged PEP RALLY. After all, haven't DEATH'S CHOSEN and OLDIES had a long
standing duel in TELORINTHE? It wasn't a spectacular fight, or anything, but PEP
RALLY wants me to write about it since he won victory over REVENANT. Satisfied?
Challenges, revenges, Bloodfeuds. All TELORINTHE ever talks about is fighting!
Me, I'm more laid back. VODI bloodfeuded (is that a word?) STEAL HOME for revenge
over some guy's bad fortune. Was it really worth it? Fight, fight, fight. Is that
all you guys can do?

Well, I finally managed to graduate a Zeitgest, but it definitely wasn't who I
thought would go. Gushan was +3 init, +4 dec, and blessed in damage. Here's a
summary of my first striker grad: 11(10)-12-11-15-15(14)-12(11)-11; great damage,
broadsword, mo/lo, decisive tactic, parry skill. Ended with an ex in init and an
adex in dec. Ironically, he's my first WINNING graduate, and the only one to never
achieve duelmaster. I blame Confession for that, of course. *wry grin* Good luck,
