SPY REPORT
Greetings warriors! It is I, Zontani Sharp Eyes, here to bring report of the
clash and bustle of the weekly TELORINTHE games. Former top team BAD SIGNS was
unseated this week as OLDIES moved up from 2nd ranking to take the top spot with a
5-0-1 record for the round. Fortune did not smile upon BAD SIGNS this time out who
this turn suffered a fall into 6th position in the wake of a 0-0-0 round.
Warriors--remember that glory waits always around the corner! Witness how this week
NONSUCH HOUSE went 3-2-0 to move up 4 in the rankings. STEEL MUSE caught the eye of
many in the gladiatorial commission as she skillfully bested THE USEROUS MERCHANT and
was awarded 20 points in recognition. In one of the week's more notable duels,
ISHTAR put down MORIS NAHR, causing him to lose 13 points of recognition in the
process. Unwilling to wait upon the will of others, Duelmaster CONFESSION challenged
MORWEL last week in a match to decide the fate of the throne. Although MORWEL made a
valiant effort, it did not suffice to topple the reign of victorious CONFESSION. No
confirmation, but my sources claim that the top team has gained their position using
magical aids. Charmed weapons perhaps?
But come now, let us look deeper into the maze of contention and crossed blades
that is city TELORINTHE. My inside sources tell me that the team to beat in
TELORINTHE these days is ZEITGEIST. At least, most blades in town are looking to
avoid them. Apparently the stalwarts of DEATH'S CHOSEN are catching the bulk of
jests down at the challenging board for their large share of the avoids. Mighty
fighters cannot but expect competition from those below. HELGA HOARFROST take
warning! You have more than a few enemies in TELORINTHE.
What warrior does not hone his years, impatiently waiting for the moment of his
foe's mortality? Strange what qualities come forth in the face of certain doom.
LETTER SWEATER has the town astir with the news of his Dark Arena victory! Some say
a warrior is judged by the way he bears arms. One thing is sure, better a dagger in
hand then a sword on the belt!
A thought before I go. Each warrior practices one style, but must not the wise
manager learn the secrets of them all? Sadly warriors, now longer can I keep thy
company nor savor the ale of thy fine city. Depart I must and soon! Till next we
