Notes from the arena champ.
Fifteen?! 15 big Duelmaster crowns?! How many people are lucky enough or good
enough to earn FIFTEEN? Life is sweet--really, really sweet!
As you know, the team lost Letter Sweater through graduation. (She made a nice
DA finishing kill, didn't she?) And now Coach has added a newby named Accordion.
Accordion? Well, rumor has it that Coach was a musician in his early years with 8
years of accordion lessons, 9 of piano, and he played saxophone in the HS band and
sang in the HS chorus. The Accordion was always his fave and he occasionally pulls
it out to play or occasionally plinks on the piano.
Does that fit the profile of a nerdy jock who was football captain, played
baseball, basketball and track, and who later became an Engineer/MBA type? Hey, when
there are only 42 graduates in one's senior class, one has to do everything.
Enough of that. Come and get me. I am due a let down. Be there or be square.

SPY REPORT
It is I, Novgorodny Vir, Spymaster of Spymasters. Look on my work, ye mighty,
and despair! OLLIS HEROES had cause to celebrate, after VODI got 14 points by
beating PEP RALLY. YODA certainly had a baffled expression on his face, after losing
to MELANCHOLIA and losing 12 points in the process! You could cut the tension with a
scimitar as WASNIS of OLLIS HEROES met the Duelmaster. Those who hoped for a new
Duelmaster were disappointed by WASNIS, of OLLIS HEROES, who despite a 17-12-0
couldn't overcome TELORINTHE's Number 1. Word has it one team in TELORINTHE is using
psychics to predict wins. They lead a charmed life!
My mother wished me to avoid conflict, and seek the gentle trade of Spyreporter.
But warriors aren't supposed to avoid fights! Like a horde of jackals fleeing from
the lion, so did the "warriors" in TELORINTHE avoid BAD SIGNS. The warriors of BAD
SIGNS found their efforts at combat frustrated as OLDIES apparently had more
important things to do than fight. If challenges were horses, DRAGGIN' MAIN could
open up a fast food joint! CYCLIDIA challenged DRAGGIN' MAIN! Who says ZEITGEIST
are just a bunch of wimps! CYCLIDIA of ZEITGEIST kept hers wits as she was subdued
by DRAGGIN' MAIN.
The moving sword slashes, and having slashed, moves on... Questions are being
raised about the disposing of severed body parts in the arena. A certain tavern in
TELORINTHE would I avoid!
Leave me now, you base fools! My fingers tire and I fear my incessant prattling
may cause unfair judgement upon my impeccable character. Like a mixed metaphor, and
