SIXTEEN! That is just about all I can say. 38 fights in, and that 2nd "rating"
is yet miles away. I may be here forever! What should I do with all these 70
Political Points, not to mention the nearly 200 Recognition. Bah! It all means
nothing if some how, some way, somebody offs me! Kaput!

SPY REPORT
Greetings warriors! It is I, Zontani Sharp Eyes, here to bring report of the
clash and bustle of the weekly TELORINTHE games. Warriors--remember that glory waits
always around the corner! Witness how this week MIDDLE WAY 21 went 3-2-0 to move up
3 in the rankings. ACCORDION caught the eye of many in the gladiatorial commission
as it skillfully bested EMBEZZLING SCRIBE and was awarded 20 points in recognition.
In one of the week's more notable duels, AMBITIOUS GUARD put down ROOK, causing him
to lose 5 points of recognition in the process. Not for nothing has CONFESSION in
the past laid claim to the Duelmaster's throne, and this week it's proven its combat
skill yet again. Would you believe that over half of the old women in TELORINTHE
seem to feel that they could fight better than you gladiators?
Many and various are the arts of battle. In TELORINTHE "art" is a word that has
long since passed from the language! My inside sources tell me that the team to beat
in TELORINTHE these days is OLLIS HEROES. At least, most blades in town are looking
to avoid them. Methinks more than a few here could name the guild it was that spent
the better part of last week avoiding OLLIS HEROES. Indeed it was OLDIES. Mighty
fighters cannot but expect competition from those below. CUSTODIAN take warning!
You have more than a few enemies in TELORINTHE. A match that raised a few eyebrows
at the games this week, it seems that CYCLIDIA posted a challenge against the more
highly recognized WASNIS. The results, you ask? Well, the firebrand CYCLIDIA
overcame WASNIS. Remember warriors, this is the discipline of steel.
Vendettas. Bloodied blades and broken spears. Indeed the city has seen more
than its fair share of red in recent times. Fate is a fickle mistress. She showers
the miserable with fortune but sets enemies against the victorious. Remember this!
A thought before I go. Each warrior practices one style, but must not the wise
manager learn the secrets of them all? Ahh, but I can hear the spires of a far off
