Confession DMXXII
SPY REPORT
Greetings warriors! It is I, Zontani Sharp Eyes, here to bring report of the
clash and bustle of the weekly TELORINTHE games. Former top team BAD SIGNS was
unseated this week as OLDIES moved up from 2nd ranking to take the top spot with a
5-0-0 record for the round. ERIC caught the eye of many in the gladiatorial
commission as he skillfully bested CONVICTED THIEF and was awarded 13 points in
recognition. In one of the week's more notable duels, M. CHARDINEE put down SANGER,
causing her to lose 8 points of recognition in the process. Most watched of the
fights this week, the spotlight was on ORRIE POLLAS as he bore arms against the
challenge of reigning Duelmaster CONFESSION. Not for nothing has CONFESSION in the
past laid claim to the Duelmaster's throne, and this week it's proven its combat
skill yet again. Informants "close" to the city champion have told me that he never
fights without pantyhose on beneath his armor. Watch out!
I have been in deep conclave with my spies who watched all that has recently
transpired. Indeed there is much I would report. My inside sources tell me that the
team to beat in TELORINTHE these days is OLDIES. At least, most blades in town are
looking to avoid them. Methinks more than a few here could name the guild it was
that spent the better part of last week avoiding OLDIES. Indeed it was BAD SIGNS.
Loose talk at the arena has reached my ears and it but confirms the knowledge that
many fighters are after STEAL HOME. Watch your back! Give OUT FOR A DUCK credit for
its courage. Did you note how it challenged VODI despite the 29 point difference in
their rankings? 3 points of newly earned recognition and a dose of my admiration is
what OUT FOR A DUCK must now weigh against the defeat which resulted.
What warrior does not hone his years, impatiently waiting for the moment of his
foe's mortality? Walk proud, warriors of OLDIES! By striking down KELLUMBO'S INITS.
you have avenged the honor of your dead. Your virtue is known to all in TELORINTHE.
Fate is a fickle mistress. She showers the miserable with fortune but sets enemies
against the victorious. Remember this!
If it were not for my skills as a spy I would have been mugged three times

WINTER FACE-TO-FACE IN SUNNY ARIZONA!
Our next winter FTF will be held in Tempe, Arizona, January 14-16, 2011. It will be
held at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Tempe, Arizona (480-894-7444), the same hotel as
last year by popular request. Room rates are $129.00 per night, 1-2 occupancy, which
includes full cooked breakfast, complimentary manager's reception (yes, really!), free
airport shuttle, free parking and free high speed internet. There's a fitness center,
jacuzzi, and pool. The rooms are blocked--please make your reservation by December 22
before the block is released! (This is prime season for Phoenix, and people have been
unable to book rooms because they waited too long.) Look for the tournament info
sheet and minioverviews some time in December. We hope you're all looking forward to
