Notes from the arena champ.
Well, it is official. I have won number twenty-four. Wow! Twenty-four and
still not graduated. Hopefully there will be more in my future. I certainly enjoy
hearing all the "gossip" here in.
As a final note, it is quite amazing that I have been DM for more than 50% of
the existence of Telorinthe. (24 of 47) WOW!
Confession DMXXIV
SPY REPORT
Hail and well met warriors of TELORINTHE! Know me for who I am, Zontani Sharp
Eyes, Spymaster extraordinaire of all Alastari. Warriors--remember that glory waits
always around the corner! Witness how this week MIDDLE WAY 21 went 3-2-0 to move up
3 in the rankings. ACCORDION caught the eye of many in the gladiatorial commission
as it skillfully bested MORIS NAHR and was awarded 21 points in recognition. In one
of the week's more notable duels, CRACKER JACKS put down SANGER, causing her to lose
11 points of recognition in the process. Unwilling to wait upon the will of others,
Duelmaster CONFESSION challenged QUITA REMMING last week in a match to decide the
fate of the throne. Not for nothing has CONFESSION in the past laid claim to the
Duelmaster's throne, and this week it's proven its combat skill yet again. No
confirmation, but my sources claim that the top team has gained their position using
magical aids. Charmed weapons perhaps?
I have been in deep conclave with my spies who watched all that has recently
transpired. Indeed there is much I would report. TELORINTHE, city of gladiators!
Mighty among the names of thy guilds is OLLIS HEROES, a guild shunned and avoided by
many in the weekly duels. Methinks more than a few here could name the guild it was
that spent the better part of last week avoiding OLLIS HEROES. Indeed it was OLDIES.
Mighty fighters cannot but expect competition from those below. QUITA REMMING take
warning! You have more than a few enemies in TELORINTHE.
Vendettas. Bloodied blades and broken spears. Indeed the city has seen more
than its fair share of red in recent times. Dark alleys may hide both secrets and
assassins. In the arena there is only the brightness of steel. Keep vigil always!
If it were not for my skills as a spy I would have been mugged three times
already in TELORINTHE. Nice atmosphere you have here! More than a sharp eye must I
keep, indeed a stout pair of legs must I keep as well! The endless paths of Alastari
