Notes from the arena champ.
Duelmaster Title Three! I am excited and honored. Two Sam Talls and a Kung-Fu
Master; two total parries and and aimed-blow. An interesting combo if I do say so
myself.
I suspect that my probable opponent, Roid Floyd, is more formidable. His style
certainly scares the dickens out of me!
In other arenas, as the Duelmaster, I might challenge Sam Tall again, hoping to
avoid Roid, and allowing Contract Bridge to take care of him. (again, hopefully)
But this is Telorinthe, and Slugbait is a friend, and most importantly, his team
appears to need all the breaks it can get. What are friends for?
May the happiness and peace of the upcoming holiday seasons fill your lives with
a pleasant glow.

If you were disturbed from your beauty rest only to have to watch a bunch of
TELORINTHE brutes like you, you'd be grouchy, too. Of course, we're all terribly
impressed to see MELANIE OBERN win a fight and gain 16 points, terribly. Tsk, tsk,
MELANIE OBERN beat CUSTODIAN and CUSTODIAN lost 15 points. You're breakin' my heart.
And it's out with the old, in with the new, as ROID FLOYD takes the Title and last
week's bar tab from the old Duelmaster. Heh, heh. Kickbacks and bribes, kickbacks
and bribes, how else do you think some of these guys win their fights? Skill? Ha!
My mother always told me, 'If you don't have anything nice to say, start
talking.' I loved that woman. TELORINTHE, I am losing what little hope I had in you.
PUNY ORC PELOTON the most avoided team? What insult will suffice, I cannot say. And
it looks like OLDIES avoided them the most this turn. What a pack of would be
losers, if you ask me. Hmph. Ooh, I'm frightfully impressed, SAM TALL was this
turn's most challenged warrior. Watch that ego swell, sports fans.
Death and Taxes. The less death I see, the more it taxes my patience. Let's
see if anyone's dead or dying. A big yahoo goes out to MELANIE OBERN this turn, for
revenging MIDDLE WAY 21's bloodfeud against OLDIES' warrior CUSTODIAN. Heh, heh,
heh. Honor is like a chainmail shirt, it only shines through use. Certain nameless
cowards will doubtless rebuke me on this one.
There's got to be a better place in TELORINTHE to get a drink than The Dripping
