Notes from the arena champ.
Well who would have guess that I ended up here. Not me. I may be an average AB
but good old Life Scout is average scum. The only difference is that I'm managed by
slugbait and the all mighty Coach runs Life Scout. Which means that I stand a good
chance of dropping the rematch. At best slubait is 8-2 vs. Coach in Telorinthe but
across all the arenas the score is even worse. So what to do. Avoid? Run? Hide?
Pray for one of Middle Way's warriors?
I fear that even the last option will leave me on the short end of the stick.

If you were disturbed from your beauty rest only to have to watch a bunch of
TELORINTHE brutes like you, you'd be grouchy, too. Of course, we're all terribly
impressed to see STEEL MUSE win a fight and gain 25 points, terribly. Tsk, tsk,
STEEL MUSE beat CIRCLE K and CIRCLE K lost 17 points. You're breakin' my heart. And
it's out with the old, in with the new, as CONTRACT BRIDGE takes the Title and last
week's bar tab from the old Duelmaster. Heh, heh. Kickbacks and bribes, kickbacks
and bribes, how else do you think some of these guys win their fights? Skill? Ha!
He who fights and runs away will live to fight another day, the coward.
TELORINTHE, I am losing what little hope I had in you. PUNY ORC PELOTON the most
avoided team? What insult will suffice, I cannot say. And who led the way in this
mass act of cowardice? Let's see, well, whatcha know? It was OLDIES. Ha ha ha ha!
SAM TALL was challenged more times this turn than the Duelmaster. Now was the DM
insulted or feared? Heh, heh.
Some people like volunteer work in the hospitals. I volunteer for TELORINTHE's
morgue. More variety. Titanium shields and bamboo daggers, guess what brave team is
developing these kinds of weapons?
What does the TELORINTHE arena have in common with the inns? It's just as
comfortable to sleep in either place. Ha ha ha ha! Just wait 'till next time I show
