Notes from the arena champ.
Telorinthe!
As a team we thought we would claim the title here eventually, but this was a
bit more quickly than expected. I was a bit surprised by the challenge by the Duck
Sign, but I will take my opportunities where I can get them. And I will take the
throne when I can get it.
And keep it for as long as I can. There are three very different challengers
for the throne--an Aimed Blow, a slasher, and a TP. I'm pretty sure I can beat any
of them--with the right strategy. But it is important to match strategy with foe, so
I will have to challenge carefully. I think, perhaps, I shall start with the TP.
Why not?
As for the rest of my team--there are no others quite like them. It is quite
the group. No doubt you will have a chance to hear from the others in this column at
some point. Silverback, in particular, would write something interesting. Perhaps I
will do a better job next time?

The crowd's roar, the smell of iron and leather, mixed with sweat, what more
could a warrior ask of life? Well, besides that. OLDIES has cause to stand tall, as
they were TELORINTHE's most avoided team. A smart manager knows this is a team to
beat. And avoiding OLDIES more than any other team we find BAD SIGNS. TELORINTHE,
are we going to accept, or respect this sort of thing? The most challenged warrior
this turn was MIDDLE WAY 21's warrior MELANIE OBERN. More fighters challenged her
than challenged the Duelmaster!
The Dark Arena is for those who cannot win, not who cannot lose with grace.
Dignity in life or death is the warrior's creed. Is it really true that TELORINTHE
has more dishwashers per capita that fighters? Just thought I'd ask...
