Notes from the arena champ.
I am the first one on the list. I am also the Duelmaster. What I probably am
not is a good warrior. But, I am who I am and I have something a lot of other
warriors want. And I don't want to give it up. So beware, if you come in to work
some morning and your desk drawers are superglued shut, or your office door knob is
plastered with invisible gunk, or your toilet is filled with feces, or fleas seem to
have invaded your work area, then think of me and be afraid.

SPY REPORT
Well, what are you looking at, TELORINTHE? Ain't you never seen Snide Clemens
before? Ah, shaddup and listen to my news. Later days, CHAPEL OF THE GHOULS, since
BAD SIGNS took top team from you this turn, you guys are old news. BAD SIGNS turned
their 5-0-0 turn into a 1st place rank in the listings this turn. Any better than
this, and you get put on hit lists. Of course, we're all terribly impressed to see
CANNELTON win a fight and gain 22 points, terribly. Tsk, tsk, ORGAN GRINDER beat
SPORT and SPORT lost 14 points. You're breakin' my heart. CUSTODIAN challenged
CORNELIUS for TELORINTHE's Title this turn, and guess what happened? And it's out
with the old, in with the new, as CORNELIUS takes the Title and last week's bar tab
from the old Duelmaster. Heh, heh. The Warty Toad, humph! I've tasted better ale
at mortuaries. Where do they get this stuff? From TELORINTHE's trash dumps?
My mother always told me, 'If you don't have anything nice to say, start
talking.' I loved that woman. TELORINTHE, I am losing what little hope I had in you.
OLDIES the most avoided team? What insult will suffice, I cannot say. And it looks
like CHAPEL OF THE GHOULS avoided them the most this turn. What a pack of would be
losers, if you ask me. Hmph. CORNELIUS was challenged more times this turn than the
Duelmaster. Now was the DM insulted or feared? Heh, heh.
Ah, now we come to my favorite part, where we see all the guys who are dead and
gone, and get to see if their team cared. Honor is like a chainmail shirt, it only
shines through use. Certain nameless cowards will doubtless rebuke me on this one.
What does the TELORINTHE arena have in common with the inns? It's just as
comfortable to sleep in either place. Ha ha ha ha! Phlllt! Just had to do that
before I leave the fine city of TELORINTHE. I feel much better now. Glad to see the
