Telorinthe Tailor Shoppe

Hammer escorted the shapely Shagornan Elf maiden to a newly acquired property
near Telorinthe Arena, quietly discussing the arrangements of their new endeavor, so
that no passersby would be privy to their conversation.
It had been so long since Hammer had seen his stable active in Telorinthe Arena,
that the veteran manager had long forgotten how dismal this stable of warriors had
been back in the day. No less than five warriors had perished on the Telorinthe Arena
sands, oh so many long years ago; including two Total Parries, a Basher, a Piker and a
Ripper. At the time of their deaths, all had logged losing records, while only two of
the current active warriors sported winning records.It was no small wonder that
Aaaarrgh Hammerz occupied the bottom of the Telorinthe Arena Career Standings, not to
mention the current Win-Loss Record of the Last 3 Turns.
Hammer had even considered shutting down this stable of underachievers, since
Telorinthe Arena seemed to be but a "Ghost Town" of its former original glory, but
there was something about this collection of misfit warriors that had given Hammer
pause.
The veteran manager decided to refrain from disbanding this stable yet again, in
favor of the possibility that Telorinthe Arena might yet increase in the number of
warriors that may possibly assemble on the sands, from as yet unnamed managers who may
possibly send stables to Telorinthe Arena to butcher his collection of underachievers.
It was this conclusion that had motivated Hammer to open the Telorinthe Tailor
Shoppe, the possibility of an influx of managers, warriors and site-seers that could
flock to this city. Afterall, a new set of tailor made clothes were bound to brighten
up the current small crowds who gathered each month to watch a handful of warriors
dance on the Telorinthe Arena sands.
Aurora, the Shagornan Elf maiden, graciously accepted the responsibility to open
and maintain the Telorinthe Tailor Shoppe, serving as the eyes and ears for Hammer in
this all but forgotten non tourney arena.

SPY REPORT

Good day, in TELORINTHE a quiet thief gets rich, but a quiet spymaster gets
poor. So bring me ale and harken to my tidbits of news. The AAAARRGH HAMMERZ guild
has had a 4-1-0 turn and deserves to be watched in the future. You never know where
this kind of thing can lead. And let's see, TSUNAMI ALERT fought PITSPAWN FOULDOG
and gained 27 points and contributed to BAD SIGNS' 3-2-1. LIL DRUMMER BOY has lost
to JESTER, falling 14 points, while helping make FIGHT SONG a 3-2-0 turn. This
week's Duelmaster bout was between GRAIL and our Duelmaster NOCTURNAL RITES, making a
Bloodfeud. Defending his title for another turn, NOCTURNAL RITES kept WETWORKS'
warrior, GRAIL, from claiming the throne. Tell me, is nothing sacred? I have heard
from unimpeachable sources that The Swinging Aardvark uses trolls in their stew.
Talk about gristle!
Oriental wise man once say, 'Hiding behind shields prevents proper sun tanning.'
Inscrutable, but true. I also notice that the WETWORKS stable was the most avoided
team this turn. Come on TELORINTHE, what are you afraid of? And avoiding WETWORKS
more than any other team we find BAD SIGNS. TELORINTHE, are we going to accept, or
respect this sort of thing? Well, sports fans, take notice that PITSPAWN FOULDOG
from CHAPEL OF THE GHOULS was TELORINTHE's most challenged warrior this turn.
We only live a short time in this world, so why not take a sharp blade, and
shave it close? PITSPAWN FOULDOG has departed TELORINTHE, leaving CHAPEL OF THE
GHOULS without their 12-8-1 warrior. Question, just what was his team doing at the
taverns last night? Congratulations go out to CHAPEL OF THE GHOULS, with NOCTURNAL
RITES revenging a bloodfeud against GRAIL of WETWORKS. Is it really true that
TELORINTHE has more dishwashers per capita that fighters? Just thought I'd ask...

Snow once it graduated, so here is probably the worst Bad Sign to graduate to date.
18(1)-16(1)-10-8-18(1)-8-9 WS. Came back with Greatsword (never used due to Wit/Dft),
High/Moderate rhythm, a tendency to learn parry skills, and no favourite tactic.
Turns out he was +2 Parry, and received his invite by getting an advanced expert
rating in that, to go along with his expert rating in attack (which was mode). He
accidentally fought once in Crysalis (because this team has been on maintenance), but

will now be retired. Oh yeah, the only reason his record was so good was he managed
to go 11-2 vs Strikers here in this arena, and 6-0 against other Wall of Steels. --
