All four guys stopped mid-swing, and listened to this new sound.
"You're popular, too!" Whirled lied, to comfort her.
"Aye, and nobody knows what an AA team is, Fae," quipped Wayjourner.
The others nodded and shrugged, eyebrows raised.
Her gentle smile broke through, "Hah... Way... it's not that... it's... that
Behemoth..."
The men exchanged dark looks, as cold as the north wind that had hardened them.
"There, there...."
SPY REPORT
Welcome to Telorinthe! It has been an exciting day in the arena and in the
stands! There were many glorious fights and more than a few deaths. It was
especially exciting for me! Today is my first day as a spy reporter. I know! I
know! I can hardly keep all my excitement in! Okay, okay, before I get to carried
away and forget what I am supposed to be doing, let me tell all about the great news
from turn 147!
Bad Signs did not fight, so we were going to need a new Duelmaster. Nike was the
only warrior in the Challenger Champions last turn and the only warrior that could
have challenged the Duelmaster. A new Duelmaster needed to be selected by recognition
points. Nike fought M. Chardinee and won, which gave him the most recognition points
in the arena. Nike is a member of the Wetworks team, and I am not sure who manages
any of the teams here yet. Give me time, and I will learn your names! You can help
me by introducing yourselves in the personal ads.
Telorinthe's most avoided team was The Dragons, a team that just started in the
arena last turn. The Dragons were avoided the most by NFL Network, another new team.
There appear to be many new teams in the lower ranks. Welcome to each of you, and as
I have already said, "INTRODUCE YOURSELVES!" Oh, sorry for shouting! Did I mention
that I was excited to be here? Reese's PB is the most challenged warrior for the
turn. He was challenged by many, but only one warrior was able to face him on the
arena's sands. Wayjourner of Endless fought Reese's PB and lost! Exciting isn't
it!?!?
Two new teams entered the arena this turn. Kame House and Sorcerer Kings join us
for all the exciting times ahead in Telorinthe! Kame House sent two warriors to the
Dark Arena. This led them to have a losing turn of 2-3-0. Dark Arena fights can make
it difficult to have a winning record if you have too many in one turn. The other new
team, Sorcerer Kings, went 5-0-0! I'm sure the manager is happy with the results.
Welcome to all the new teams that have joined in the past few turns.
My mentor is telling me to finish up the report! I have so much more I want to
tell you, but she is probably right. I could talk for hours about the arena, the
warriors, the sky, the sands! Really! I can talk about anything! So, I will save
some of this for next time. Telorinthe is a slow arena, so I will have to bottle up
all of my thoughts for 28 more days. I can't wait to see you next turn!
