SPY REPORT
Greetings, warriors of TELORINTHE! Once again I've been called out of
retirement for my abilities and insights into Spyreporting. Biff! Pow! TELORINTHE
watched with glee as RIFF-RAFF CREW got knocked off top spot by THE DRAGONS!
Phhbltt! Too much drinking and too little dodging gave THE FEROCIOUS FIVE a 2-3-0!
I got a good laugh out of it! Ya gotta be quick on yer feet! Keep your elbow off
the table! Thrust! Block out the pain! THE DRAGONS is now ranked 1st with a 3-2-0
turn. HOUSE OF FUR showed TELORINTHE what they were made of as they fought with a
vengeance to walk off with 4-1-0. What's with LALALI-PUY? She actually beat THE
FEROCIOUS FIVE's KING KILLER, and walked away with 24 more points from the fight.
I'm sure TELORINTHE is excited about KING CHAPPA, the new Duelmaster from KAME HOUSE.
(remember?) But when you've seen as many as I have... Advice to fighters with a 1
will--give up fighting!
If at first you don't succeed, avoid. That'll get you in the Spyreports. The
most avoided team was HOUSE OF FUR. In my day, no team with a 52-48-1 would scare me
off! What's the problem, THE DRAGONS? How well I know the feeling of being the most
challenged warrior, SIR CUMBSTANCE! Don't make idle boasts, they may come back to
haunt you. Taunt your opponent HARLEY! That was my lucky charm when I was unfairly
challenged. (and by 21 points!) NIGHTMARE should have an easy win. NIGHTMARE's
gonna be practicin' hard this week, after HARLEY, lower ranked by far, mashed him!
WYAN of SORCERER KINGS knows how to pick 'em. He challenged SIR CUMBSTANCE of
QUEEN'S GUARD who is up by 18. Now was this a wise move? WYAN perhaps got his just
desserts, seeing as he beat SIR CUMBSTANCE and ended up with 65 recognition points.
There have been some calls to lengthen the time limit. Do you want the fighters
to walk away, or not? PUAR, with his forgettable 9-11-0, was slain by GREG OLSEN in
a forgettable match. KAME HOUSE didn't seem to mind very much. NFL NETWORK's boys
should be laying low. Now that NFL NETWORK's manager has gone and let RED DEATH kill
CAM NEWTON unchallenged, NFL NETWORK's fighters are fair game. Many a warrior has
met his fate in a hungover stupor. You young rapscallions, take note!
Who knows what the future holds for a warrior. More fights, there's no doubt.

Algernon, who had NOT gotten the name change he'd asked for, looked at the latest
petitioner. This was a typical gladiator, big, muscular, and scarred, with a frown.
"Ah, what can I do for you?"
"Name change. I heard we can do that. I'm tired of being Jane Doe."
"I'd think you would be," Algernon said faintly. "The Commission has actually
been thinking about this. It isn't FREE, mind you! It takes money to run our office,
you know, and we want to buy some goats--"
"I don't care about goats!" He made a crude suggestion about goats.
"Gladiators, teams, it will cost you two dollars to make a change--"
"I had a talk with my manager. He'll find the money. I want to change my name
