SPY REPORT
This report is running a little late today! It has been one crazy day from sun up
until now (and yes, the sun is already down)! I won't go into a lot of detail, but a
collapsed donkey in the middle of Telorinthe's main thoroughfare can cause all sorts
of problems. The poor thing! Anyway, I need to focus on this report so we can get it
to the printers in a timely manner! Let's see what happened today!
Grogan Da Troll, an arena veteran, made his play for the Duelmaster's throne this
turn. Six Flags rose to the championship the last turn, so this was his first turn to
defend. I am rarely disappointed when two veterans clash on our fair sands, and
today's title match was spectacular! Grogan defeated Six Flags in a 1-minute fight
and becomes the new Duelmaster. It will be a short reign though. Grogan Da Troll is
off to da Isle of da Eye, so the next turn will be his last in Telorinthe. Grogan is
managed by Nomad.
Our most avoided team today was one that did not fight. Bad Signs is inactive, but
they were still mostly avoided by Super Brash Brothers. Our most challenged warrior
today is also from the Super Brash Brothers guild. Iolo, be warned! You have many
warriors trying to face you on the sands! Do they see an easy win or have you angered
the masses? Iolo faced B.A. Barrackus and it was a short one and it looked pretty
one-sided. When reached for comment about the match, the winner would only say, "I
pity the fool!" Short and not-so-sweet, but thanks for the interview, B.A.!
There was only one death in the arena today, along with an "accidental" blood feud. I
say "accidental" because One Kurato lost to Flash in a random match-up, which
inadvertently counted as a successful blood feud! Yeah, it is weird how the match-ups
work at times, but it is what it is - and today it is a blood feud! Involved in the
blood feud and the arena death, we have the Rhymes with Ash guild. Synapse puts Stash
to death, and General Bashur finally has a kill. It is random, but I'm sure he
doesn't care!
We had two (2) warriors leave for the Isle today, and we have two (2) more that will
bid us farewell next turn. Master Roshi and MIdnight left us today, and they faced
each other in the farewell fight. Master Roshi won rather convincingly, but I often
wonder how much effort some fighters put into the final fight. I mean, they are
immortal, so they do not have to exercise the same care as in other bouts. THEN, we
have new graduates with Grogan Da Troll and Antonio Brown. The Yellow Press does not
have complete records for Telorinthe as we do for other no tournament arenas (though I
am combing through the old reports to have complete records), so Nomad will have to
assist me in sharing his graduate totals. I do know that Antonio Brown is Channel
Master's FIRST Duel2 graduate from ANY arena, so congrats to him!
Ironskull Orcs fall out of the top spot and down to 4th place. They still have a
great 3 turn record of 10-5-0. They are replaced by Sorcerer Kings, who have taken
the lead with a 12-3-0. Nemesis leads The Ferocious Five into second place from the
6th spot, while Queen Artemis moves up one spot into 3rd. The Dragons, led by Dragon
Master, finish off our top 5 and might be a threat to go higher next cycle with 2
kills on their record.
That is it! Hopefully, I have finished in time! Fingers crossed!!!! I will see you
next turn. Grogan is going bye-bye, so we will have a new Duelmaster. Who is going
to step up and take his place? I am looking over the Challenger Champions, and I
cannot decide who has the best chance to be our next Duelmaster?!?! I guess we will
have to come back next turn and see for ourselves! See you then!
