SPY REPORT
Annnnd, we are back in Telorinthe for another amazing arena day! Welcome to the only
no-tourney slow arena in the land. I am Ori Starbloom, and I will be your guide today
as we walk through all the exciting activities on the sands and in the stands for
today's games. Maybe calling them games is a bit insensitive since it is actually
preparation for defending against an inter-dimensional invasion of chaos monsters who
seek to destroy us and everything we love and hold dear. Wow, that is depressing.
I'm just going to stick with games!
Burger King has been our top fighter for a few turns and looked to be getting really
comfortable on the throne. I would guess that chair is like any other, you start to
find that perfect position and don't want to move! Then BAM! Someone tries to stab
you and take it! That's exactly what happened in this turn, sort of. 0-2 Count
challenged Burger King for the throne, so it was Total Parry vs. Total Parry. Not a
whole lot of stabbing took place, but there was lots of standing. 22-minutes of
standing, yawning, scratching, and just generally not moving. Then someone passed out
from exhaustion or boredom or both! Anyway, we have a new Duelmaster. Congrats to 0-
2 Count, who is managed by Dark Oracle.
House of Fur was our most avoided team today. They were mostly avoided by Conjure Up
the Sun. The most challenged warrior is Blinky Me Eyepoke. He got a challenge from
RBI-Wan Kenobi, just 1 point below him, and lost in a 1-minute struggle. Out top
teams remain the same with Classics at 12-3 followed by House of Fur at 9-5-1. Empire
Strikes out is new to the top 5 and comes in at #3 with a 9-6-2 record. Conjure Up
the Sun and Riff-Raff Crew finish out the top.
Death came to Telorinthe today on the regular sands. Often, I report that most of the
deaths came via Dark Arena, well not today. The single death in the Dark Arena came
to a warrior that was 0-5 going into the turn. There were no surprised faces when his
name was called. On the regular sands, Peril leaves us with an 11-3-1 record. This is
truly a harsh life! Also dying today was Doomscroll, another arena veteran. Newcomer
Zemeon Fyr is also pushing up daisies after his ill-advised challenge to War Witch.
It might be interesting next turn when the revenge fights start processing!
It is time to call it a day! I can go on for hours, but the boss wants me to wrap it
up. Come back next turn and see if 0-2 Count can hold onto the throne. There are
lots of worthy Challenger Champions to make it difficult for him. Can anyone topple
Classics from their top spot in the team rankings? Can it get any hotter in this
place? I'm an elf, the heat doesn't typically bother me, but I'm perspiring like an
