Eyes, Spymaster extraordinaire of all Alastari. Former top team BASHUR BRIGADE 2.0
was unseated this week as FEAR FACTORY 16 moved up from 4th ranking to take the top
spot with a 2-0-0 record for the round. The proverbial rising comet can only hope to
compare with FEAR FACTORY 15's team record! A 2-0-0 week and now a firm grasp on a
2nd place ranking. I have begun to suspect trickery on the part of ROOKIE HALEN 35.
How else weeks like this one's 1-0-0? How else the sudden move to 6th team? The
proverbial rising comet can only hope to compare with ABSURD HEROES XI's team record!
A 1-0-0 week and now a firm grasp on a 8th place ranking. I have begun to suspect
trickery on the part of FINGER LICKIN. How else weeks like this one's 1-0-1? How
else the sudden move to 9th team? The proverbial rising comet can only hope to
compare with AL BUMS XI's team record! A 1-0-1 week and now a firm grasp on a 12th
place ranking. I have begun to suspect trickery on the part of SOUP FORCES 2. How
else weeks like this one's 0-1-0? How else the sudden move to 32nd team? My tutors
were fond of telling me that the higher you rise the harder you fall. This week
071709AK went 0-1-0 and fell 14 notches into 33rd! The proverbial rising comet can
only hope to compare with FEAR FACTORY 19's team record! A 0-1-0 week and now a firm
grasp on a 41st place ranking. PRIMARY caught the eye of many in the gladiatorial
commission as he skillfully bested JASMINE SAGE and was awarded 14 points in
recognition. In one of the week's more notable duels, PRIMARY put down JASMINE SAGE,
causing him to lose 11 points of recognition in the process. Most watched of the
fights this week, the spotlight was on SPYMASTER as he bore arms against the Dark
Arena Challenge of reigning Duelmaster HOT ROCKS. Although SPYMASTER made a valiant
effort, it did not suffice to topple the reign of victorious HOT ROCKS. No
confirmation, but my sources claim that the top team has gained their position using
magical aids. Charmed weapons perhaps?
But come now, let us look deeper into the maze of contention and crossed blades
that is city BLACKSTONE. I saw one fighter that warriors avoided when this week's
challenge seeking began. Q-SCHOOL is feared. This much I can say. Apparently the
stalwarts of 071709AK are catching the bulk of jests down at the challenging board
for their large share of the avoids. Mighty fighters cannot but expect competition
from those below. JASMINE SAGE take warning! You have more than a few enemies in
BLACKSTONE.
What warrior does not hone his years, impatiently waiting for the moment of his
foe's mortality? HOT ROCKS has sworn to take up religion upon living to tell of his
recent bout with the Dark Arena horrors. A rare thing indeed! Strange what
qualities come forth in the face of certain doom. ERNIE ERNESTO has the town astir
with the news of his Dark Arena victory! BROKEN WING has sworn to take up religion

We have planned our summer FTF for July 13-15, 2018, in Arlington, Virginia, only 7
miles on a quick Metro ride from Washington, D.C.!. It will be held at the Holiday
Inn Arlington at Ballston. Room rates are $120 per night on 7/12 and 7/15 and $79 on
7/13 and 7/14, 1-2 occupancy. There's free wireless throughout the property as well
as a fitness center, outdoor pool, and business center, as well as a resturant and bar
inside the hotel. There is no airport shuttle and parking is $7/day. The rooms are
blocked -- ask for the Reality Simulations block. Reservations must be made by 6/12.
