If you were disturbed from your beauty rest only to have to watch a bunch of
BLACKSTONE brutes like you, you'd be grouchy, too. Later days, AREAS IN FEAR, since
DEAD WORLD took top team from you this turn, you guys are old news. With any luck, I
can sneak into The Swinging Aardvark and join GONE OFF THAT TOO's celebration over
their good record this turn. 10th place, not bad. If The Swinging Aardvark is
buying drinks for STREET WALKERS 10's good turn, I'm afraid the place will be dry
before long. A 1-0-0 makes for a big thirst. Why not, I'm having a good day, so I
feel sorry for THINGS I HATE 2, who went 0-1-0 and dropped 12 into 16th. Here's my
pity, for what it's worth. Of course, we're all terribly impressed to see ALPHA
KLAUS win a fight and gain 14 points, terribly. Tsk, tsk, ALPHA KLAUS beat EARLY
MORNINGS and EARLY MORNINGS lost 12 points. You're breakin' my heart. And if
variety is the spice of life, BLACKSTONE may be getting bland, as SOME DONKUS stays
top dog in the city. I'm not in a very good mood today, but why am I telling you
this? You want to know what's new, don't you, BLACKSTONE?

goats to people who wanted them. But why did the goats have to be gathered in HIS
office? Four of them, and they were a lot like gladiators: not smelly maybe, they
were clean goats, but pushy and sure they were the most important thing around. Maybe
they should be enrolled in the arena? No, there were only four, not enough for a
team.
He shook his head to clear it of the image of armored goats with sharpened horns.
One thing at a time. He pulled a piece of paper out of his desk drawer, dipped his
