Notes from the arena champ.
Yes! Movin' on! Gone! Outta here! Finally, finally, Lord Protectorship. Off to
The Isle, retirement, findin' me a cute and leggy investment and makin' me some little
annuities and corporate bonds. THAT will be fun.
It has been a long, long road. Starting some years ago as a 11-19-10-4-19-8-13 TP
great endu, norm dmg, trem HP and worked out to a 14-21-10-7-21-8-15 trem/good/trem.
I earned 3 DM Titles in DM84 and 2 TVs (Rook, Init) in tournaments.
I triumphed to 17-3-0 in the arena and 24-12-0 in tourneys.
I never swung anything but a medium shield and a Warhammer, and neither of those
very often at all.
My longest fight was my last one of 34 minutes.
I earned a master in parry and an expert in attack, and I'm proud of 'em.

If you were disturbed from your beauty rest only to have to watch a bunch of
BLACKSTONE brutes like you, you'd be grouchy, too. Later days, INTERNATIONAL DRIVE,
since THE DONALD took top team from you this turn, you guys are old news. If The
Dripping Blade is buying drinks for THE MOTHERSHIP CG's good turn, I'm afraid the
place will be dry before long. A 3-2-1 makes for a big thirst. With any luck, I can
sneak into The Dripping Blade and join EL CAMINO:TRES' celebration over their good
record this turn. 16th place, not bad. Oh, this is too good to be true! BASHUR
BRIGADE 2.0 has fallen to 31st place after going 1-3-0 this turn. Who's bragging
now? Why not, I'm having a good day, so I feel sorry for DEAD WORLD, who went 0-1-0
and dropped 11 into 34th. Here's my pity, for what it's worth. Of course, we're all
terribly impressed to see EARLY MORNINGS win a fight and gain 25 points, terribly.
Tsk, tsk, AIMED BLOWS beat BOJANGLES and BOJANGLES lost 15 points. You're breakin'
my heart. Due to absence, and inability to defend the throne, BONDS has lost the
Title of Duelmaster. Start setting that alarm earlier! And it's out with the old,
in with the new, as GENTLE JOGGER takes the Title and last week's bar tab from the
old Duelmaster. Heh, heh. I'm not in a very good mood today, but why am I telling
you this? You want to know what's new, don't you, BLACKSTONE?

BLACKSTONE, I am losing what little hope I had in you. UNGENTLE BENS the most
avoided team? What insult will suffice, I cannot say. And who led the way in this
mass act of cowardice? Let's see, well, whatcha know? It was $#!* MY DAD SAYS. Ha
ha ha ha! FATTY BOOKIE was challenged more times this turn than the Duelmaster. Now
was the DM insulted or feared? Heh, heh.
Ah, now we come to my favorite part, where we see all the guys who are dead and
gone, and get to see if their team cared. Whoa! I'll even buy HERPES a drink
tonight! Anyone who can come back from the Dark Arena, I want to be on its good
side! We're all going to die in the end, so why worry if the fate catches up with
you sooner that later?
