The sages err'd not in their foretelling of a god descending upon BLACKSTONE,
for I, Novgorodny Vir, have returned! The boys at THE DONALD left the arena
dejected, after being kicked out of the top spot by INTERNATIONAL DRIVE. Good show!
Managers were muttering after OTTODROME 149 showed BLACKSTONE what they could do:
1-0-0 to move up by 12. Perhaps it is BASHUR BRIGADE 2.0 members' intannibility that
enabled them to move from 31st to 18th last week... (Less time in the sun...) Like a
chunk of francium heaved into a wet pond, UNGENTLE BENS blew up the rankings to 14!
Say what you will about blind luck and dirty fighting, but LOOK OUT!! will tell you
44-14-2 is nothing to laugh at... THIRSTY THUGS 1429 had cause to celebrate, after
UNKEMPT BASS got 21 points by beating MEGA GATOR VS PREDAT. Win some, lose some.
Speaking of which, QUALITY was winsome, after beating QUEENSBRIDGE and seeing it lose
16 points. Like a flirtacious debutante, BLACKSTONE's Duelmaster GENTLE JOGGER found
himself the man of the hour, being "invited to dance" 2 times! The arena was more
crowded than usual this time, as AFFLECK faced BLACKSTONE's Duelmaster. Now I can't
insult AFFLECK, as he has gloriously dueled to the top. Oh great new Duelmaster!!!
(Stop me if I lay it on too thick) Word has it one team in BLACKSTONE is taking
speech lessons to try to bore their opponent to death. I'll bet it works.
And how sociable are BLACKSTONE's warriors? Come, let us see. Like a horde of
jackals fleeing from the lion, so did the "warriors" in BLACKSTONE avoid EL
CAMINO:TRES. Like a pup with its tail between its legs, CONS I scurried away from EL
CAMINO:TRES. Oh, the shame! As a confidence booster, VITRIFY challenged SOFTY
CHEESE, down 28 points. Do you also slay vicious rodents in your spare time,
VITRIFY? Warriors of BLACKSTONE! Do you wish your reputations tainted by the base
challenge of VITRIFY?
The moving sword slashes, and having slashed, moves on... Oh hard! that to
strike a flame, the match itself must needs be wasting!

Our next winter FTF will be held in Tempe, Arizona, January 18-20, 2019. It will be
