TEAM SPOTLIGHT
In a fine year-old Assur spotlight, he indicated that The Consortium ran quite a few
strikers. With that in mind, and in support of Assur's well-done document on strikers,
The Consortium decided to allow posting the starting stats on all the recent (2021 and
very early 2022) Consortium striker and basher graduates. Of the 30 graduates in this
time frame, 8 were strikers and 8 were bashers. The other 14 were a variety of AB, LU,
SL, TP. None were PL, PR, PS, WS, although in the 1,230 graduates, The Consortium does
have all styles several to many times over.

Take this information for what it is worth. Then reread the Assur striker design
article of two years ago. (Or perhaps he will repost it?) You will find that these
strikers add validation to that fine Assur spotlight.

SPY REPORT
Much has changed in NOBLISH ISLAND since last I was here. Never fear, Olaf
Modeen adapts to many situations, as do all successful fighters. What's with XENA?
She actually beat THE NORSE's ERIK, and walked away with 18 more points from the
fight. Laughs were big at BANGERS & MASH while they watched XENA clobber ERIK. He
lost 16 points and got bruised from objects thrown from the stands. I'm sure NOBLISH
ISLAND is excited about GIBRALTER, the new Duelmaster from BANGERS & MASH.
(remember?) But when you've seen as many as I have... Wouldn't it be nice to have
live subjects to practice on? I hear some team is looking into the uses of convicted
prisoners.
If at first you don't succeed, avoid. That'll get you in the Spyreports.
NOBLISH ISLAND thinks CHILDHOOD T.V. and their 11-9-1 is too much! If at first you
don't succeed, give up... In my day, no team with a 9-6-1 would scare me off!
What's the problem, BASH BROS SUPERSTARS? What do people see in WALTER? His 3-7-0?
BANGERS & MASH ain't talkin', but he's got 16 points.
A fighter's lot is filled with strife, revenge, and killing. Some fighters
don't accept this. The best do. Is it my imagination, or are fighters getting
younger every day? To die so young, so gloriously!
Who knows what the future holds for a warrior. More fights, there's no doubt.
NOBLISH ISLAND is a nice place to live, but I don't like to live in nice places. I

comes across references to things like "Attack:50%" or "Riposte:135%". This has
something to do with skills and advancement, of course, but how does thiw work,
