Near Zukal:

Ghenis grimaced at the wave of fear but set himself to defend his shelter,
himself, his horse, and Veleks. The fear, he realized after a moment, was something
outside himself, something the monstrous hunter was attempting to impose on him.
That knowledge did not lessen the icy waves coming at him, but it let him set it away
from himself, make a space between fear and thought. It would not find him an easy
victim.
There was what seemed like a very long silence, with Ghenis in the ruined house
beside his fire, and the icy-eyed shadows outside. The shadows seemed to be waiting
for something--for him to flee, screaming, probably. And to be disconcerted by his
failure to do so.
Ghenis reached up to touch his amulet again, then paused before his fingers
reached the cool stone. It looked like he could handle this on his own, so better
not to invoke the dark powers. But should he speak, demand what this shadow wanted
of him, or wait and let it be first to break the silence? Better to wait; in a
contest of nerves, the first to break silence lost points. He didn't have any
points, whatever they might be in this context, to spare.
Sooner than he expected, a voice came out of the night. It was cold, and
hollow, and deep as a cave, sounding distant, somehow, or not quite real. Oh, it was
real, Ghenis knew that--out of the corner of his eye, he saw his horse flinch at the
sound. But it was hard to imagine that any creature of flesh and blood might produce
such a voice.
     "Why do you not flee?"
"Flee? You think I should run away?" The gladiator put as much surprise in his
voice as he could. "Why? I've got a fine location here, shelter from the wind and
rain, a fire for light and warmth. Why should I leave before morning?"
"Do you not fear me? You should." The voice dropped to a deeper, darker tone.
"I could rip life and soul from your puny mortal flesh--"
"Sounds unpleasant," Ghenis agreed. "But I'm a Lord Protector, and the Greywand
has a deal with Ahringol--he doesn't get to keep us Lord Protectors. We get
resurrected on a regular--"
"Ahringol!" The name crackled like thunder in the darkness. Scornful thunder.
"That foolish child? These young gods have no sense of dignity, trafficking with
wizards as though they were mortal merchants! Ahringol and Greywand are nothing to
me, what I take, I keep."
"If you say so," the gladiator responded. The statement that Ahringol, who had
a deal concerning gladiators, was not involved was disconcerting, but this was not
the time to show it. "But if you could come here and get me, you'd already have done
it. What's stopping you?" he added curiously. "The fire, the steel, the fact that
I'm not afraid?"
"Why should I tell you anything?" The voice sounded annoyed now. Almost sulky.
"You think too much." It dropped to a note of menace. "But one night you will be
without shelter, and then we will see what your brave words really mean."
There was a stir in the shadows, a rushing wind of movement, and then Ghenis had
the night to himself.

The Isle of the Eye:

They didn't get to see Sheila Greywand, which was a surprise. Some sort of
secretary told them that she was "very busy." They should take their trophy, which
might or might not be the Eye of the South, to the Stronghold Academy and turn it
over to Senior Wizard Tanrith. Then he shut the door in their faces.
"You would think," Mr. Testosterone muttered angrily, "that after sending us--
personally sending us, at that--on a special mission of 'surpassing importance',
she'd want to at least hear our report in person and ask us some questions."
"One might think that," Bellerophon agreed. "I suppose she might be occupied
with more pressing matters," he went on slowly, staring at the shut door.
"We were given to understand that there WERE no more pressing matters than
finding out what happened to the Eyes," Tamea Soulkeeper growled. "But not only are
we turned away at her door, we could barely get onto the Isle at all!"
"That might be one of the more pressing matters," Skirnir suggested.
"Ha! I know when I've been insulted." Tamea glared at the door. "It would
serve her right if we didn't take the Eye to the Academy."
"No, WE should do things properly, even if SHE is too busy," E.A. Polecat cut
in. "Besides, what would we do with the thing?" He looked at the towel-wrapped
bundle uneasily.
"And even if we, you know, get away with it now," Debby Tonte predicted, "SHE
will notice later on, and then we'll be in trouble. SHE always notices sooner or
later."
"What's the point in arguing?" Onuphre asked. "We're going to take it to the
Stronghold Academy, to this Senior Wizard, so let's just do it. I want to go back to
my guildhouse, take a hot bath, get a good meal, and a night's sleep in a real bed
for a change." He glanced sideways at Debby. "Not that the Rithakar Hilton wasn't
okay, but I want my own bed."
"I agree," Natasha Knight said from the back of the group. "Let's just get rid
of the thing and be done with all this. Where is the Stronghold Academy from here?"
She moved to the outer door and peered into the fog uncertainly.
Debby tugged her beach jacket more securely around her well-tanned figure and
stepped out into the fog. "It's right down there." She gestured at nothing visible
to the others.
The gladiators glanced at each other. Bellerophon shrugged. "She always lands
on her feet," he murmured. "She probably does know where the Academy is, and we want
to get rid of this. Let's go."
     They went.
Ten minutes brisk walk brought them to a stout brick wall topped with iron
spikes. The porter at the heavy gate, a pale, weedy specimen who looked more like a
student of magic than any kind of guard, let them in without argument, and directed
them to Tanrith's workroom.
Tanrith looked old, as befitted a senior wizard. He also looked tired, but that
was not their problem. He took the towel-wrapped stone from them, set it on a bare
table, and unwrapped it. The stone was a sphere a little bigger than a man's head,
chalky white, smooth but dull of surface, and faint shadows cast by nothing visible
moved just under its skin.
The wizard sighed. "This was, indeed, one of the Eyes," he said. "It's beyond
recovery now, poor thing. Best to put it out of its misery...."
"You make it sound like something alive," E.A. Polecat muttered.
"It is. Or it was. The records state plainly that when Lady Greywand created
the Eyes, each was built around the soul, spirit, or whatever you want to call it, of
a living person. I'm surprised they lasted as long as they did."
"Why?" Tamea Soulkeeper leaned forward intently. "Why should they not survive
for even longer when preserved by spells?"
"Nothing but the vast mind of a Great Dragon lasts without decay for more than a
few hundred years in nature. Spells may extend that period to as much as a thousand
years, but beyond that point...no." The old man sighed. "Oh, to be sure, you can
keep it GOING with spells, but it changes. Memory frays away, personality twists
into new channels, and the resilience of the healthy mind is lost. The mind may
retain function, indeed, it may be quite powerful, but it isn't sane by any measure."
Nobody said anything. Bellerophon didn't look at the other gladiators, but in
his mind was the awareness that Sheila Greywand was considerably more than a thousand
years old. Was this man saying SHE was insane? Impossible...or was it?
"That's two of the Eyes recovered," Tanrith went on. "The East and the South.
Good work."
"And luck," Bellerophon said. "Luck, and help when we needed it."
"If the Eyes are useless now," Tamea asked, "what happens to the Arcanum and
magic?"
"Nobody knows for sure," the old wizard said. "Disruption of normal life, at
the least. Beyond that, we must wait and see."

Somewhere in the Far West:

"She's sick!" The voice was male, unfamiliar, annoyed. The language was
unfamiliar, too, but Shania understood it. Part of her gift for knowing, she
supposed. The gift had declined of late, as a part of the decay of the Arcanum; that
it had come back in part was doubtless significant...of something. She didn't want
to think about it right now. "A sick woman is no use to us!"
Shania kept her eyes closed, stayed relaxed. The man was talking about her, but
she felt no need to discuss her health with a stranger.
"She's sick because she is closely linked with the Arcanum, and the Arcanum is
sick." A different voice, probably male, but older, tireder. "She is less useful
than she would have been a month ago, but there is no value in lamenting what has
passed. And no one else would be of any use at all."
The first voice muttered what was apparently a curse. Footsteps departed.
"I know you are awake," the tired voice said, "and that you can understand me.
You may as well admit it."
Shania opened her eyes. The man looked to be of medium height and might once
have been physically powerful, but all that was left now was broad bone structure and
withered hide. He didn't appear to be of any race known to her, being bronze-skinned
with a brutal beak of a nose, high cheekbones, narrow black eyes, and iron-gray hair.
His mouth was narrow, almost lipless. The dominant characteristics in his face were
a fierce intelligence and an implacable will. He would make a bad enemy.
"What do you want of me?" she asked idly. She thought it unlikely that she
would help this man in anything, but no harm in asking.
"Your aid in healing the Pillar of the West." A gesture indicated something
just out of her line of sight.
She shifted, noting that she was on a narrow pallet rather than a real bed, far
enough to look in that direction. A massive dark stone had been carved into the
likeness of a man squatting and holding his hands cupped against his chest. Held in
the hands was a sphere of crystal, dull gray in color except as flashes of livid
reddish light shivered across it. The Eye of the West, and barely functional.
"I have little power at present," she said. "What can I do that you cannot?"
"Your power is of no value," the man answered flatly. "The stone is dying
because the spirit that inhabits and animates it is dying. As you are the person
mostly closely attuned to it at this time, you are the obvious one to replace the
dying spirit. By the gods' favor, you may survive long enough for us to find and
attune a younger, stronger woman to assume the burden."
Shania had not expected to be so surprised, but that this old man proposed to
sacrifice her to the stone in order to preserve its function for a few days or weeks
longer came as a shock. "Does my position on this make any difference?"
     "No."
"Not even if I know of other ways to stabilize the stone? Non-fatal ways?"
"There are no other ways. If you will not accept your role as the honor it is,
you will accept it anyway. The time for choice is long past."

Talahya?

"I'm not sure that would be a good idea," Fizban said cautiously. "We don't
know where we are, but we DO know that the Gate we came through must be near here.
If we go farther away, we could lose track of our route home."
Moonjumper patted his hand. "It's okay, we're as lost as we'll ever be
already!"
"What wonderful news." The old wizard sighed.
"Besides, we're Lord Protectors," Scarlatti pointed out, straightening up from
his examination of the water. "Part of our DUTY is to explore new realms."
"And our pleasure, as well," Carris Fallstar agreed. "Let's see if there is a
boat, a ferry or some other boat. I feel like sailing!"
Fizban looked from one to another of his companions, shook his head slightly,
and sighed. Maybe it was a sign of his age, but he really didn't like the idea of
getting completely lost. At least here, there was the illusion that by retracing
their steps, they could find the Gate they'd come through and return to the Isle.
Rodan leaned closer to him. "It will be okay," the blind gladiator murmured.
"I can retrace a long route as easily as a short one. And it is better to do
something, even something wrong, than to do nothing."

Lirin Kiv?

The carriage moved through the streets slowly, as though the driver was feeling
his way in the fog. The fog wasn't heavy enough to justify that kind of groping
progress, but Shylock kept quiet. No point in berating the driver. Besides, the
Lord Protector was also making full use of the chance to stare around. So was
Clemenda, he noted, well, that was okay. He didn't normally like people around him
to be TOO alert, but in this peculiar situation, no telling what might be significant
and who might notice it first.
The temple to Somebody Who Wasn't Mantor vanished behind them. Shylock counted
turns and blocks and finally set his teeth against possible disaster and looked
toward where the arena should have been. Hmm. Not the same structure, but there
were points of similarity.
     It might be an arena.

Sorry to be so brief, but time and heat is pressing. More to come, if it rains. --

                             REPORT FROM WITHIN THE TOWER

You elder fighters surely remember me. The younger ones may call me Olaf
Modeen. I return to FREE BLADES once again! What's with MORROLAN? He actually beat
THE BLACKHEARTS' GRIMTHANE, and walked away with 30 more points from the fight.
Major screwup at RHYME TYME. SMUG BUG lost 31 points to PANIC ATTACK. Some new
strategies, perhaps? Maybe SMUG BUG will provide more easy wins... Apparently FREE
BLADES isn't filled with as many gutless wonders as I thought. The Dreaded
Duelmaster got 5 challenges this turn! Another fighter (NEMESIS 45-8-0) challenged
another Duelmaster (GNU WORLD ORDER 60-53-3). Life goes on. I'm sure FREE BLADES is
excited about NEMESIS, the new Duelmaster from CHAMPIONS. (remember?) But when
you've seen as many as I have... Advice to fighters with a 1 will--give up fighting!
If at first you don't succeed, avoid. That'll get you in the Spyreports. The
most avoided team was BLACKEST PRIDE. The bums at DEMONS OF DARKNESS couldn't face
the challenges from BLACKEST PRIDE! No excuse for that! Fighting is a better craft
than farming, TRY ME NOW, but you have to pay your dues. Being challenged by
EXQUISITE CORPSE, 60 points above you, is dues. EXQUISITE CORPSE's gonna be
practicin' hard this week, after TRY ME NOW, lower ranked by far, mashed her! Keep
challenging up 28 points, SNAP CRACKLE PUP, and I won't have to write about you much
longer. SEVERUS SNAPE always accepts those kind of challenges... As I expected,
SEVERUS SNAPE won SNAP CRACKLE PUP. Not to start anything, but, SNAP CRACKLE PUP,
now that you've faced him and seen his style, you might try it again! Maybe SHADOW
MOD's BLACK ANDARUS is one of those guys who likes pain, or something. That's what
he'll get next week, after challenging up 33 to BLACKER. BLACK ANDARUS found one way
to advance: challenging BLACKER and losing, but getting 6 points. No brain, no
pain. Keep challenging up 32 points, NIGHTIE KNIGHT, and I won't have to write about
you much longer. DR. SCUM always accepts those kind of challenges... Who knows what
was running through NIGHTIE KNIGHT's head, but DR. SCUM rearranged it for her. How
soon will NIGHTIE KNIGHT make a challenge like that again? Maybe SHADOWCIRCLE's SHEA
MAGEBORN is one of those guys who likes pain, or something. That's what he'll get
next week, after challenging up 31 to FUNNY BUNNY. I don't get it. SHEA MAGEBORN
goes and challenges FUNNY BUNNY, way above him, but gets 6 points after he loses! Is
this a new strategy? Keep challenging up 32 points, LORD REDMOND, and I won't have
to write about you much longer. JULIUS always accepts those kind of challenges...
As I expected, JULIUS won LORD REDMOND. Not to start anything, but, LORD REDMOND,
now that you've faced him and seen his style, you might try it again! Taunt your
opponent HERMES! That was my lucky charm when I was unfairly challenged. (and by 21
points!) THE BIG MEOW should have an easy win. I have to get this off my chest.
What a low dog, THE BIG MEOW! He can't set himself up in a real match. I was sorry
to see HERMES lose. Maybe IVERS GIRLS' ROCKI ROADS is one of those gals who likes
pain, or something. That's what she'll get next week, after challenging up 31 to
SWEET CHASTITY. SWEET CHASTITY must not been fighting well, cause she lost to ROCKI
ROADS of IVERS GIRLS. Sometimes you just have a bad day where things get, um, mixed
up. Keep challenging up 26 points, JOELEAN, and I won't have to write about you much
longer. SUPERIOR FORCES always accepts those kind of challenges... Who knows what
was running through JOELEAN's head, but SUPERIOR FORCES rearranged it for her. How
soon will JOELEAN make a challenge like that again?
There have been some calls to lengthen the time limit. Do you want the fighters
to walk away, or not? Here's some advice: study your opponent, master many skills,
fight dirty.
Many other cities have retirement homes for aged warriors. Any plans here? Are
you as tired of reading this as I am of writing it? Actually, I guess I'm writing it
before you read it. Oh, well. Remember--a good fighter needs both good skills and
good luck. Until next time,-- Olaf Modeen

                               PERSONAL CORRESPONDENCE

I am, like, totally anyhow, on account of the tourney. So someone else is doing
the spy report, which I don't know who, but you must have noticed by now, right?
     Have fun. -- Debby Tonte

It was going to be me, but someone seems to have waylaid the messenger and I
have to go now. So it's golem time, I'm afraid.... -- The Saint

Rillion -- True, I wasn't planning on challenging Venric, but then I thought it over
and decided I would. None of your warriors will be given quarter. I also notice you
now have two Venrics. What's next, changing the names of all your warriors to Venric
so you can have a good excuse for losing? -- Sylvester "29-7" Frothingslosh

Venric -- Actually it was a typical fight against any of Rillion's warriors. -- The
Madness

GWO -- Congrats to you and Brother Manray for taking the Lord Marshall! -- Sylvester

Venric2 -- Loser. -- The Big Meow

Rillion -- Well, it looks like I am really going to have to pull a great turn this
last turn before the Face to make it to 55% like I wanted to! -- Shadowgate

Gnu -- Wow! You got lucky, punk! :) I mean two and a half minutes and I can't pull
my back-up. However, despite that, I think I made a fairly good go of it with my
fists! -- Blackmyth

Steve Dallas -- Throwing the fight? Yeah, right! -- Blackmyth

Where do you grab hold of it, you know, throw it?

Snape -- That was just not right! Ok, my manager is letting me take a rest for a
while! -- Nightstalker

E.A. Polecat -- Nice challenge and impressive win! -- M.E.N.

Mr. Testosterone -- Great fight! That was REALLY close. -- White Knight

Gorboduc -- What! I knew you would destroy me but you have to have a ton more skills
than I do.... You could at least taught me one! -- Morrolan

Choas Lich -- Time to start working out! -- Bankrupt

Lord Redmond -- No wonder you're still down at the bottom getting beaten by a newbie!
-- Black Andarus

Incisor -- Hey! You got the jump on me! That is impressive! Not that is enough to
beat me.... -- Sethra Lavode

Melkor -- Good fight, but you should never have let the "healers" carry me away and
lock me in that awful tower! I barely escaped in time for this week's fights. --
Moonjumper

Samoo -- Brangus is stomping around the guildhouse swearing under his breath (because
we all hit him when he swore loudly). I don't think he's been humbled enough yet. --
Moonjumper

Ali Gator -- Just remember, it isn't ME who talks about "gator-hide shoes and
purses." I stick with buckskin for shoes and who wants a purse? A belt pouch (lined
with chain mesh) does fine for me. -- Raven Eyes
P.S. The point which I forgot to make was that if anybody skinned you after that
fight, it wasn't ME.

     Or me!

Koosh Ball -- Very clever--risky, but clever--to toss half a dozen red balls around
the arena, get 'em bouncing off the walls, and then smite Madbull while he was
distracted. But a friendly warning: stay out of alleys for a while. -- Redfox

Artemisia -- Always an education and an honor to be matched with you, ma'am. --
Redfox

Miss Tonte -- I'm not complaining about my match-ups. -- Redfox
P.S. How else would I meet women here?

Is that what you want to do? I mean, you could put a Lonely Hearts ad.

Miss Tonte -- I did NOT make a career error! I was disconcerted when Samoo MOOED at
me. -- Brangus
P.S. Anyone would be.

You should be more, you know, flinxable. Just in case.

Debby -- The stewed livers are for making pate. -- Moonjumper
P.S. When frying, should the umbrella be in the liver or in the onions?

In the drink, which you drink while you're frying them, and you use it to stop
grease from, you know, slipping up at you.

Jolean -- Well, you sure are a take-charge little girl, TV challenging a guy and
beating him up and not even teaching him any skills. You need to ease up, learn to
cook and do laundry, and maybe you will get a boyfriend. -- Loping Wolf

Peter People-Eater -- By Ankor's blue nipples, you're a "whack first and ask
questions later" kind of unreasonable fellow. I'll be thankin' you not to come at me
again with that piece of steel. -- Lump o' Gore

     How about a different one?

Risk Taker -- Coulda gone either way. -- Kelos

Tyvin -- No no, it doesn't take luck. Challenge me, why don't you. -- Kelos

Nightie Knight -- You're short for a Shewish Giant. And cute, too. Under that armor
do you actually wear a...no, no never mind. Arena name. I am not that naive. To
assume you wear a nightie into the arena would be like assuming that a warrior named
"Jammies" wears pajamas onto the sands. -- Royland

But he DOES! Larkin said so, and a spy reporter wouldn't LIE.

Speak for yourself.... *grin* -- The Saint

Titan -- Thanks for helping me out with that train. Not that it would do me any good
against you. Hope I don't meet you in the arena again. -- Mila

Pendragon -- Thanks for helping me climb my way back up towards the top. --
Milquetoast

Mimr -- Good to know I can count on someone to get me back to my winning ways.
Thanks for the help, I'll buy! -- Steve Dallas

Steel Cloth -- I expected the loss but was hoping for a skill to go with it. -- Tesen

Nightstalker -- Being fast is over-rated. Sometimes the best potions are those that
take a little longer. -- Severus Snape

Meltdown -- Boy that was tedious, again. -- Venric

The Big Meow -- Whoops, I'm the wrong Venric. That was a huge mistake. -- The other
even lamer Venric

Blade Runner # -- Sigh, another turn another loss. I liked fighting more when I used
to win. -- Tyvin the washed up

Ferret Inferno -- Well done. You are a great warrior, for a basher. -- Elroran

Tryurluck -- I've already tried my luck and it's apparently the same as it was last
time. -- Rillion tW

Laytoos -- Hmm...not a promising showing right before the tournament was it? Looks
like I need some more warm-ups. -- Hermes

Neb -- Didn't we just do this last turn? -- Zenar

Sylvestor -- Go right ahead and avoid me. Of course the most effective way for you
to avoid me is to not challenge me. Why don't you give that a go first? -- Rillion

Shadowgate -- Yeah, I decided the race would be more fun if helped you close the gap
a little first. -- Rillion

Bankrupt -- Your time is past, soon I will be able to repay you for the nose
tweaking; I hold grudges for a very long time. -- Severus Snape

26 June 2003
All -- Would you be willing to proxy my lunger Ganglare at the Face-to-Face? He's
fighting in the champions tourney. Thanks. Write: Michael Rogers #25335-013, PO

STOP THINKING TOGS!!!!! It's here. Well, almost here anyway. We're looking at
a start date of the first turn in Aradi (DM 60) following the Fall Mail-In. This
should give everyone sufficient time to study the new ultra-improved T#%S IV rules
and prep accordingly. So without further ado, here is your handy-dandy guide to
winning your very own Golden Scrod (and some other very cool prizes to be announced
officially before the start of the tourney that must not be named):
1. Each T#%S team consists of two managers. After the tourney starts, there will be
no switching partners whatsoever, so choose your partners wisely. T#%S IV will
last for 13 turns, so pick a partner you can stand for 6 months or so. The only
team I know of so far is last TOGS winners: Ganolus Oakleaf/Hombre of Blood
Related/Thieves Guild. Hey, this is fun!
2. The T#%S entry fee is 2 team setups per manager. This means 4 setups per T#%S
team. This entry fee is required before the start of the tourney with no
exceptions being made. This is to ensure that nobody gets screwed if a team or
manager decides to back out early. To pay the entry fee either:
    a) send $10 cash/check/money order/ or whatever to me personally at:
       Andy Salveson
       6812 Romanzo Way
       Elk Grove, CA 95758
    b) get RSI to send me 2 team setup gift certificates. Sorry, no credit cards and
no old teams you have lying around will be accepted.
3. T#%S point system:
10 points for winning on your up-challenge against another T#%S warrior.
7 points for winning on your even challenge of another T#%S warrior.
7 points for winning on another T#%S warriors challenge.
7 points for winning a random matchup against another T#%S warrior.
4 points for winning on your down-challenge of another T#%S warrior.
4 points for winning a random matchup against a non-T#%S warrior. Do not fight
your team mate, you will not get any points. Also, you will not get any points
if you challenge or get challenged by a non-T#%S team, so use your avoids
wisely if you think someone is out to get you.
10 points for being the Duelmaster. This is in addition to all points listed
above and will begin turn 1, so prep accordingly.
5 points for every spotlight written by any team member, 1 per manager per turn.
The minimum length of a spotlight to receive points is 1/2 column in the
      newsletter (that's 31 lines-each line 85 characters across) and I will be
completely firm on this. In addition to the length criteria, spotlights will
not be given points if they are in any way plagiarized or if they are not
Duelmasters or fantasy related. I will be the sole judge of this. If you're
unsure if I will judge something to be Duelmasters or fantasy related, then
e-mail me before you write the spotlight and ask me. I reserve the right to
take points away from a spotlight after they are given if I judge at a later
time that the spotlight has been plagiarized.
-5 points per manager per turn every time a manager does not at least write one
      personal ad.
-5 points for being the team that avoided the most.
If you participated in TOGS III, you'll notice some slight changes in the points
structure. The main things are points for random match ups against non T#%S
warriors, bonus points for being the Duelmaster, new spotlight criteria, and no
points given for being the most avoided team.
4. I already mentioned this, but T#%S IV will start the first turn in arena 60 after
the Fall Mail-In runs and it will last for 13 turns. There will not be a
Survivor format this time around, meaning no eliminations. I will still be doing
the multipliers at the end, however. This means that all points accumulated by a
team on turns 10 and 11 will be multiplied by 1.5 and all points accumulated by
each team on turns 12 and 13 will be multiplied by 2.
5. Prizes are yet to be determined, but I'll tell you what I know. There will be
prizes given out each turn to whichever team scores the most combined points on a
given turn. Tie breakers will go to the team with the most wins on that turn and
then to the team with most overall points. I have asked RSI for the same prizes
as last TOGS which were transferring any warrior to arena 60 and renaming Aradi
for approximately 6 months, but we'll see what they come back with. I haven't
decided how to split the prizes up, partly because I don't know how many teams
will be entering yet, but I do know the prizes will be split among the top 3
teams at the end. I will announce the exact breakdown of everything when I know
    more.
6. And just like TOGS III, Death Stud and I will be the sole arbiters of any dispute
that may arise. Whine all you like, but as Nuln told you last time, that's how
    it is.
7. M & RR Clause (go ahead, read between the capitals): I reserve the right to
disallow entry to this tourney if you have a previous history of being a big fat
    mouth about everything.
I think that pretty much covers it. I will be accepting team entries as of now
and then posting them in the newsletters as I receive entry fees. Please feel free
to e-mail me regarding any questions or comments at Ganolus@aol.com. So everyone don
your best pair of leg warmers, hop on your favorite farm animal, and ride to Aradi
for the 4th kinda-annual Tournament that must not be named for no apparent reason
whatsoever, or T#%S IV, for short. See ya'll there!

-- Ganolus Oakleaf, T#%S IV Commish
