Well, this is a bit of a surprise, and I hope it isn't a bad omen for Induction.
Next Split, maybe, but not, I hope, this one. I want a few cycles to enjoy being one
of teh best in the arena, and I sure won't have that in Primus!
I salute Draco Malfoy for his challenge and his efforts. It could have been one
of those "style advantage" matches, but I never did like doing things the ordinary
way. Hang in there, Draco, and you may return to this position... if you don't
suffer premature Induction.

Oh, hi. It's just little 'ol Debby Tonte. Thought I'd check out Free Blades to
see what's new, besides somebody putting bananas in the drinks. Bananas are, you
know, o-KAY, but not really happy the way pine apples are. Or kiwis. Or even, like,
a tomato. A tomato is a fruit. No, really, it IS. People get the little ones with
the, you know, good flavor and put them in, um, well, in Bloody Marthas. With
umbrellas. So they look like beachballs, you know? Some of them wear shades.
Anyway, this is supposed to be about the fights, so here is some stuff about the
fights. Such as, Flattus Maximus got MVP, which I think maybe means More Valuable
Points than any other gladiator today. Or not, I don't know, people don't TELL me
these things, darn it. But he got twenty-seven, even though Jealous Jodi didn't LOSE
twenty-seven, so it's a puzzle where the rest of them came from. I mean, *I* don't
know.
I don't go into deep con caves, you know, not when I want to find out stuff. I
just ask the scribes in the office, and they tell me. One said that Fear Factory was
avoided more than anybody today, and that of the people who avoided them, Drake's
Bar-B-Q did it the most. Don't ask me why. I already said people don't tell me
things.
Propane Torch got the most challenges. I really don't understand that, unless
people were challenging with fire extinguishers. Fire is very dangerous, and you
have to be CAREFUL with it.
There were thirty-nine fights, which is up, and no standbys at ALL, which MEANS,
we have more active warriors than, well, Home Guard and Crysalis together, maybe.
This is just TOTALLY tubular. Also, nobody died, which is good, because people dying
is depressing, even if they're resurrected right away.
And there were fourteen challenges, but all radio, no tv. When do we get the tv
challenges? I'm sure lots of people here should have them.
Well, I have to be a little bit fast about this stuff, because of somebody going
postal. Or maybe a postal holiday, I'm not sure which. So I got a bunch of
nutshells for the fights.
MIMOSA (32-4294) (14-10-0,56) of PHILANTHROPISTS fought WILD THANG! (29-2393)
(17-12-0,63) of STREET WALKERS. MIMOSA demolished WILD THANG! in a 1 minute uneven
conflict. I like mimosas best when they have chunks of oranges in them, and maybe,
hmm, some honey. And not an umbrella, but a parasol with lace. That's the best way.
JAVELINO (56-3728) (33-39-0,89) of REDHORSE fought MOUSE NOYLE (17-6252) (38-70-
0,73) of MIDDLE WAY. JAVELINO lost to MOUSE NOYLE in a crowd pleasing 1 minute duel.
I thought it was elephants that were scared of mice, not pigs?
BIONIC BUFFALO (11-6570) (23-6-0,94) of DO IT AGAIN fought SISTER X (12-6340)
(17-7-0,58) of CULTS-R-US. BIONIC BUFFALO vanquished SISTER X in an exciting 1
minute one-sided match. Well, you better just WATCH OUT, Bionic, because you might
find yourself at, you know, a cult meeting, and those can be SOOO kinky.
CANNIBAL CORPSE (61-2373) (29-28-4,144) of FEAR FACTORY fought BACKSEAT BECKY
(29-2005) (27-16-0,134) of STREET WALKERS. CANNIBAL CORPSE was handily defeated by
BACKSEAT BECKY in a 1 minute mismatched match. I heard that Cannibal Corpse got to
help clean up after the tourney. Yuck-O!
JELIAH BIGABO (35-3676) (41-22-2,166) of PHILANTHROPISTS 3 fought KNUCKLE JAW
(77-2129) (43-49-2,119) of GWAR. JELIAH BIGABO overpowered KNUCKLE JAW in a popular
1 minute uneven bout. I don't know why this was popular. I kind of like Knuckle,
you know? She understands the importance of a good tan. Not everybody does.
GRETH (32-4321) (18-5-1,154) of RILL'S GCSC2 fought REQUIEM (11-4472) (25-18-
0,142) of BALLAD OF THE BLADE. GRETH was demolished by REQUIEM in an action packed 1
minute one-sided conflict. I keep thinking that Greth should be a croc, because of
the team name looking like that when it gets just a little blurry. And the scribes
in the office don't use the best ink, you know, because this is all going to be
thrown away when I'm done with the notes. And if I just happen to put my drink down
on it, which sometimes I do because of wet glasses making marks on the furniture,
well, it gets blurred.
SAMARIUM (75-3071) (26-15-1,172) of I AM SAM fought SISSY CHRISSY (29-1347) (32-
24-3,127) of STREET WALKERS. SAMARIUM handily defeated SISSY CHRISSY in a 1 minute
one-sided fight. Which just SHOWS that he's a GOOD Samarium.
DAMORETH STENN (65-6105) (60-75-1,176) of SAND DANCERS fought ANARCHY (49-2279)
(27-14-2,129) of APOCALYPSE. DAMORETH STENN demolished ANARCHY in a 1 minute one-
sided struggle. Gosh, if he goes along WINNING again, he might not get to retire!
HIMEY THE PIMP (29-730) (39-32-1,188) of STREET WALKERS fought MUDVAYNE (61-
3039) (24-18-0,155) of FEAR FACTORY. HIMEY THE PIMP viciously subdued MUDVAYNE in a
crowd pleasing 5 minute brutal fight. Lots of people can't stay vicious for five
minutes, but Himey did.
JAMMIES (74-2829) (91-89-1,190) of DARKLINGS fought GREGORY GOYLE (74-3497) (46-
54-1,176) of SLYTHERIN HOUSE. JAMMIES overpowered GREGORY GOYLE in a crowd pleasing
1 minute one-sided fray. Oh, gosh darn it. Somebody better take that teddy bear
AWAY from him. I swear, it's got claws a foot long!
NINE INCH NAIL (61-2273) (35-29-3,182) of FEAR FACTORY fought THE QUICKLING (70-
1669) (70-156-2,181) of SCARLET KNIGHTS. NINE INCH NAIL beat THE QUICKLING in a 2
minute bout. Wow, there were actually NINE nails out there, and they were all sharp
and, like, nailish. With crimson polish, too.
ROYLAND (56-3380) (111-69-0,203) of REDHORSE fought RIDDLER (61-1856) (69-52-
1,178) of FEAR FACTORY. ROYLAND savagely defeated RIDDLER in a popular 4 minute gory
match. Huh, I bet Royland didn't REALLY know the answer, I bet he CH-- Uh, he was
lucky. Just guessing, you know? Ha.
LOPING WOLF (56-1796) (87-139-0,194) of REDHORSE fought MORTIFICATION (61-2333)
(45-40-4,186) of FEAR FACTORY. LOPING WOLF was narrowly defeated by MORTIFICATION in
an action packed 4 minute duel. Well! I guess that explains what a narrow defeat
is. It's when the winner puts the loser's feet through a, well, one of those holes
you put mail through, and slams the flapper shut, and it CUTS OFF THE FEAT. Er,
feet. So the loser is totally de-feeted. Then you don't have to worry about finding
the other sock, though.
KELOS (55-30) (86-126-4,208) of ROCANIS RIDERS fought VINCENT CRABBE (74-3498)
(53-48-2,205) of SLYTHERIN HOUSE. KELOS vanquished VINCENT CRABBE in a 2 minute one-
sided bout. I don't see why. Vince is okay. He bought me a shrimp cocktail once,
except for getting somebody else to pay for it. Of course, the shrimp had the
umbrella gripped in its, like, claws, you know how they have, like lobsters? And it
wouldn't let GO when I wanted to lick the juice off.
T-BONE (13-3139) (36-22-0,198) of LEGION OF DUMB fought 3 FISTED RAT BOY (70-
6130) (36-49-3,188) of GWAR. T-BONE was overcome by 3 FISTED RAT BOY in a crowd
pleasing 1 minute bout. Just bone splinters, that's all that's left.

(74-2995) (56-59-3,181) of SAND DANCERS. SUPERIOR FORCES vanquished DARLINA in a 1
minute one-sided fray. Some people take being Superior very SERIOUSLY. I've noticed
that.
CORT NIGHTJEWEL (78-196) (76-110-0,181) of THE DRAGON FIST fought DRACO MALFOY
(74-3500) (66-25-1,195) of SLYTHERIN HOUSE. CORT NIGHTJEWEL was demolished by DRACO
MALFOY in a 1 minute one-sided melee. This was a dragon fight, kind of. But dragons
that just use their fists are out of luck when somebody else has a sword. Everybody
says that.
NIGHTCAP (74-2745) (102-105-0,243) of DARKLINGS fought SAXOPHONE (70-43) (32-16-
0,181) of LACE. NIGHTCAP savagely defeated SAXOPHONE in a popular 4 minute gory
duel. It was kind of like one of those things they put in horn to make them sound
subdued, you know? A mule or something. So Saxophone sounded muley or, like,
subdued. Yes?
NIGHTFALL (74-2421) (137-107-4,297) of DARKLINGS fought KING LOVE (40-3748) (49-
39-2,205) of GARDEN OF HORRORS. NIGHTFALL defeated KING LOVE in an action packed 4
minute brutal fight. Well, that's just WRONG. Love always wins in the end. My mom
told me that, and she wouldn't have LIED to me.
MILA (55-29) (100-117-0,293) of ROCANIS RIDERS fought REPRISAL (82-14465) (20-7-
1,202) of THE BROTHERHOOD 10. MILA overcame REPRISAL in a popular 3 minute brutal
contest. That's what people SAY, but I tell you, there will BE reprisals in the end.
You just can't go around in a funny hat forever and nothing happen.
VICTIM OF SOCIETY (55-3179) (46-41-2,235) of PHILANTHROPISTS fought FUNNY BUNNY
(55-1862) (129-151-2,197) of RHYME TYME. VICTIM OF SOCIETY was demolished by FUNNY
BUNNY in a 1 minute uneven bout. I don't like Victim, because of that name. So when
I say I was glad he got demolished, you just have to remember that if his name was,
well, Joe or Bill or something I would be sorry.

(31-22-1,182) of APOCALYPSE. RETROVIRUS devastated MAYHEM in an action packed 2
minute one-sided bout. If Mayhem gets devastated, does that mean no more fighting?
Because I could get a job modeling swim suits, and you guys could get, um, some kind
of jobs, and it might all be cool.
KYRLANIA (70-2327) (99-115-1,224) of SCARLET KNIGHTS fought GOLEM (35-1485) (69-
50-1,198) of THE PHILANTHROPISTS. KYRLANIA overpowered GOLEM in a crowd pleasing 4
minute bloody one-sided match. Did you notice that even the CROWD is quiet and
doesn't talk or do personals? You could hear pins drop in this place, much less
golems. The crowd just waves their hands and throws beer bottles.

32-1,205) of PHILANTHROPISTS 2. JULIUS overpowered GOSSAMER in an exciting 1 minute
one-sided bout. Shreds, that's all that was left of Goss. Just shreds of stuff.
Bloody shreds, even. Soak in cold water and hand wash.

111-0,199) of CARDOW HUNTERS. TRYURLUCK handily defeated REDFOX in a crowd pleasing

(19-15-0,85) of PHILANTHROPISTS. Down 9. Just call this North Darkholm. DARWIN'S
LAW was handily defeated by DRIZZT in a 1 minute Challenge conflict. There's a note
here about this being Darwinianian. I don't know what it means.
NOREASTER (35-3896) (19-4-1,96) of DIRT DEVILS challenged PITSPAWN FOULDOG (61-
3121) (19-12-1,100) of FEAR FACTORY. Up 4. NOREASTER demolished PITSPAWN FOULDOG in
a 1 minute mismatched Challenge match. I had a noreaster egg once, but it didn't
hatch.
