We are SOOO good here! I mean, really, compared to Andorak and Darkholm, we're
SOOO good. Thirty fights, with only one standby. Fifteen challenges, one of the tv
and the rest radio. A few personals. Stuff happening. Is this good, or what?
Ah, and Street Walkers were Most Avoided by Roman Heroes. And Sekhat got the
most challenges, more than the Lord Marshall, which wasn't hard because he didn't get
any.
JEREMY CAMP (43-4626) (18-9-0,80) of POSITIVE ALTERNATIVE fought GERMANICUS (17-
6999) (20-6-1,90) of GLADIATORS. JEREMY CAMP demolished GERMANICUS in a 2 minute
brutal one-sided fight. Yes, well, that may have been Positive for Jeremy, but I bet
Germanicus would prefer the Alternative.
SUPERCHICK (96-2999) (6-12-3,40) of KEYS 2 THE KINGDOM fought FALLING ROCK (29-
4286) (33-55-0,83) of CARDOW HUNTERS. SUPERCHICK was handily defeated by FALLING
ROCK in a 1 minute one-sided fight. Didn't these two just do this? Hmm. Maybe the
handicapper didn't believe it and wanted to try again.
WONDER BUBBLE (56-3522) (21-18-2,98) of INCONSISTENT FURY fought HAWK NELSON
(43-4636) (23-3-0,82) of POSITIVE ALTERNATIVE. WONDER BUBBLE was luckily beaten by
HAWK NELSON in a popular 2 minute gruesome fight. A Bubble burst. But the arena's
always like that.
KRYSTAL MEYERS (43-4635) (22-5-0,93) of POSITIVE ALTERNATIVE fought NEEDS SALT
(29-5206) (17-4-0,55) of BOHICA. KRYSTAL MEYERS beat NEEDS SALT in an action packed
1 minute competition. I hear Krystal prefers pepper. Well, it takes all kinds. At
least, that's what People say. I'm not sure, myself, I think we could do without
Snide Clemens's kind.
VELOXI (38-4233) (17-10-0,108) of BLENDING ENTHRONED fought MAD DOG MONTANA (29-
4984) (23-19-6,100) of STREET WALKERS. VELOXI vanquished MAD DOG MONTANA in an
action packed 2 minute one-sided fray. Does this mean that Mad Dog has been blended?
I knew a guy once who went around osterizing people, was that the same?
DOOMSDAY DEVICE (65-4854) (25-24-0,136) of REIGNING DOOM fought THE QUICKLING
(70-1669) (90-209-3,147) of SCARLET KNIGHTS. DOOMSDAY DEVICE was savagely defeated
by THE QUICKLING in a 1 minute match. Oh, bummber. But at least it was quick.
Sometimes the Quickling drags his feet.
DARKNESS ABOVE (65-4856) (24-15-0,104) of REIGNING DOOM fought HELYSE (103-36)
(45-35-5,165) of the College of Mimes. DARKNESS ABOVE was savagely defeated by
HELYSE in an action packed 2 minute gory fight. Gosh, our only standby out today,
and she WON. I guess maybe the standbys will be buying drinks all around at the Red
Sands tonight. Or maybe not, everyone's been getting pay cuts lately.
MAC (35-2993) (60-53-0,161) of LOST CAUSE fought WILD THANG! (29-2393) (22-16-
0,119) of STREET WALKERS. MAC overpowered WILD THANG! in a 1 minute uneven fight.
So Mac isn't a lost cause today. Good.
JOHN TYLER (5-4420) (33-8-0,168) of I'M HISTORY fought CEDAR (29-4319) (31-41-
2,126) of CARDOW HUNTERS. JOHN TYLER handily defeated CEDAR in an exciting 5 minute
one-sided contest. And are we surprised? Not much. Sometimes I wonder about our
handicapper, you know. He seems so biased, sometimes.
JADRA (61-3379) (28-17-1,184) of PHILANTHROPISTS fought FREDERICK DOUGLASS (5-
4424) (23-8-1,180) of I'M HISTORY. JADRA demolished FREDERICK DOUGLASS in an action
packed 1 minute uneven bout. But Jadra demolished him philanthropically. Um,
whatever that means. Lots of skills? Flowers while he's in the Infirmary? I don't
know about this. I mean, it gives me a whole different view of philanthropy.
CORT NIGHTJEWEL (78-196) (116-143-0,188) of THE DRAGON FIST fought *LEATHER*
(65-3336) (34-28-3,195) of LITTLE EARTHQUAKES. CORT NIGHTJEWEL bested *LEATHER* in a
popular 2 minute gruesome bout. I know it isn't Cort's fault, but sometimes it's
really hard to respect him and his teammates.
NORMANDY (65-4916) (26-28-3,192) of DOOMSDAY4DOOMCORPS fought GIMME SOME SUGAR
(19-4936) (23-15-0,166) of ARMY OF DARKNESS. NORMANDY overcame GIMME SOME SUGAR in a
3 minute competition. You know how it is with Norman cooks. Or maybe you don't?
Sugar, who needs it. Butter, cream, goose grease, that's what they look for. It's a
wonder they don't all have heart attacks. Maybe there's some secret weapon that
prevents that? Like chile peppers, which I heard are supposed to keep you blasted
open in that area.
BARBARIAN KNIGHT (70-565) (26-24-0,182) of DISPOSABLE HEROES fought ALIX (74-
2701) (32-23-0,206) of CHEYSULI & LIR. BARBARIAN KNIGHT was beaten by ALIX in a
popular 3 minute match. Do we still have two Barbarian Knights fighting here? If
so, this is one of 'em. Well, actually, even if we don't, this is one of 'em. Who
else would it be, after all?
FLAMING FLEA (70-499) (31-30-2,219) of MIDNIGHT HOUR fought JEANNE D'ARC (70-68)
(32-23-0,200) of GORGEOUS GOBLINS. FLAMING FLEA was devastated by JEANNE D'ARC in an
exciting 3 minute one-sided fight. Hey, you understand Jeanne got burned at the
steak, so what's a little flaming flea to her, huh?
The challenge fights, probably going to be a lot of the same old stuff, but then,
what else would there be?:

mismatched Challenge bout. Ho! Maybe Pane should change his name to Pain, because
he was sure handing it out.
ANTONIUS (19-5063) (23-12-0,134) of IDES OF MARCH challenged TALL TREE (29-4380)
(25-77-0,124) of CARDOW HUNTERS. Down 10. ANTONIUS savagely defeated TALL TREE in a
crowd pleasing 1 minute Challenge conflict. An easy win is always popular, even if
it isn't March. Actually, I knew a guy once who marched from here to Ides, which is
a little town, well, more of a village, really, on the lake south of Riztab.
LUCRETIUS (32-4687) (28-14-3,135) of ROMAN HEROES challenged JEO THE SONGSMITH
(1-3260) (46-89-0,126) of BLUE EYRIE. Down 9. LUCRETIUS subdued JEO THE SONGSMITH
in a crowd pleasing 6 minute Challenge match. Some people just have tin ears. Which
looks strange when the rest of them is meat, maybe it's a semi-golem thing? But
after all, someone has to listen to rap music.
ALE'CHAI TALLSKY (35-4026) (27-5-0,152) of PHILANTHROPISTS challenged SEKHAT (7-
2251) (31-46-2,153) of CASTAWAYS. Up 1. ALE'CHAI TALLSKY demolished SEKHAT in a 2
minute mismatched Challenge competition. A lady once told me--it was Emma l'Poste--
that "castaway" was a sort of polite way of saying totally drunk. If Sekhat was
totally drunk, it's no wonder he lost.
CORNELIUS (31-3485) (36-6-1,177) of CAESAR'S POOL HALL challenged STONETOOTH
(29-4560) (34-62-0,150) of CARDOW HUNTERS. Down 27. CORNELIUS overpowered
STONETOOTH in a 1 minute one-sided Challenge fight. Honestly, Corny, how many times
have you challenged Stonetooth lately? You're in a rut. Maybe you should consider a
change.
CLAUDIUS (13-2860) (75-55-2,180) of I, CLAUDIUS challenged BLACK WOLF (29-4194)
(49-48-1,141) of CARDOW HUNTERS. Down 39. CLAUDIUS overpowered BLACK WOLF in a 1
minute uneven Challenge match. You'll notice that no one was surprised at this
outcome.
NYZEIL OGLATA (17-6753) (32-21-1,156) of PHILANTHROPISTS challenged SHEN (65-
4973) (25-13-0,168) of BATTLE SCHOOL. Up 13. NYZEIL OGLATA vanquished SHEN in an
action packed 3 minute gory uneven Challenge fight. Time to go back to school, Shen.
SISSY CHRISSY (29-1347) (34-28-3,172) of STREET WALKERS challenged SMUG BUG (55-
2900) (87-161-0,184) of RHYME TYME. Up 12. SISSY CHRISSY was viciously subdued by
SMUG BUG in a 1 minute Challenge melee. Aaagh! That BUG. I do SOOO hope that Bug
gets Inducted to Primus next Split, I'm really tired of talking about him.
ARTEMIDORUS (17-6864) (52-8-1,201) of FIELDS OF ELYSIUM challenged GAZELLE (56-
3701) (67-81-0,205) of REDHORSE. Up 4. ARTEMIDORUS was devastated by GAZELLE in a 1
minute one-sided Challenge competition. I've got an idea there are lots of
Artemidoruses around, I hope we don't get more than one at a time. It's confusing!
DREAD (32-4666) (26-10-0,194) of ANGELS OF PAIN challenged ALDALDON (56-3913)
(30-19-1,202) of PHILANTHROPISTS. Up 8. DREAD was vanquished by ALDALDON in an
exciting 1 minute mismatched Challenge fight. Well, okay, I can see how THIS was a
philanthropic move on Aldaldon's part. I don't know how he DID it, lots of drinks
with umbrellas in them? (The umbrellas are important.) But it's a good thing.
NATAS (11-6531) (41-23-0,209) of DO IT AGAIN challenged GOSSAMER (35-3656) (56-
44-1,215) of PHILANTHROPISTS 2. Up 6. NATAS was luckily beaten by GOSSAMER in a 2
minute Challenge competition. I always wonder when I read about a lucky win. I
mean, was it that Gossamer, the winner, was lucky to win? Or that Natas, the loser,
was really lucky to lose because winning would have made him a target for something
really bad? Yes, okay, I know that sometimes it's losing that makes really bad
things strike you, like being sent to the Dark Arena, but that isn't going to happen
HERE.
DRIZZT (40-4146) (33-38-0,192) of PHILANTHROPISTS challenged HIMEY THE PIMP (29-
730) (45-35-1,201) of STREET WALKERS. Up 9. DRIZZT was bested by HIMEY THE PIMP in
a popular 1 minute Challenge fight. This kind of gives me the willies. This Himey,
I don't like him. He's unkind to women.
MIMOSA (32-4294) (32-23-1,206) of PHILANTHROPISTS challenged SUPERIOR FORCES
(33-4543) (122-174-3,210) of DUPLICATE REDUNDANCY. Up 4. MIMOSA demolished SUPERIOR
FORCES in a crowd pleasing 1 minute uneven Challenge fight. Well, good. I like to
see the old fossils lose, which a lot of times they don't because of having so much
experience. But they must be kinda poor anyway, even when they win, or they would
already have been Inducted, dammit.
JELIAH BIGABO (35-3676) (57-32-2,202) of PHILANTHROPISTS 3 challenged KOOKABURRA
(33-4151) (105-146-4,212) of GIRL SCOUT COOKIES. Up 10. JELIAH BIGABO vanquished
KOOKABURRA in a 1 minute uneven Challenge battle. And another fossil is turned into
cookie crumbs. Which need to be swept up or they'll draw ants, and ants in the house
are something I don't put up with. Or mice either.

minute bloody one-sided Title fray. Well, okay. I get kind of tired of golems
anyway. Sure, it's good to have one to wash the dishes, but... sometimes I think we
get too many golems doing too much of our work and maybe it isn't good. Of course,
if a golem would write a Lord Marshall's column, that would be good....
