Reflections by the Keeper of the Runeblade
Now that was a lot of fun! Not only did I defend the honor of Darkholm by
gaining Tournament Victor status at Grand Tournament LVIII in the ADM classification
but several of my stable mates also competed and brought honor to we few.
Congratulations to my long time friend and stablemate since our days on Niytyole
Island! Glamdring, you sure did us all proud! Finishing 5th in the Freshman class is
quite impressive, especially considering that your nine win performance is at least
twice as many wins as you've been able to manage before. And Digitalis! I know we
never shared the sand together in our home stable but I am very proud of you, my
Sister of the Hall! Your six wins, while not earning you Tournament Victor status
like Glamdring and me, are still quite impressive! Huzzah!
I know that a few of my new stablemates here in Darkholm also attended the Grand
Tournament. Aelfwine and Wardra, keep trying. You will improve. Maybe someday you
will be as successful as me!
Speaking of success. I think it is about time to retire from the gladiatorial
games. I long to return to my true form and sail through the skies. Perhaps eat an
entire bovine or two. Of course Darkheart won't let me just stop fighting with my
record in this condition. Perhaps four or five more wins will do it. Then I can
leave this beautiful blade in the hands of one of my stablemates.

We have 12 fights today, more than usual, including two TV challenges, and also
an excellent column from the Keeper of the Runeblade. And I congratulate Wyvern's
manager -- Darkheart, is it? -- for a triumphant tourney.
WYVERN (33-2457) (42-45-0,229) of OBSIDIAN HALL TV challenged ZEUS (62-4010) (74-
59-0,222) of LEGION OF LEGEND. WYVERN viciously subdued ZEUS in a crowd pleasing 2
minute Challenge Title fight. This means that our highly literate top Basher is also
the ongoing Keeper of the Runeblade. And Zeus is the top Wall of Steel, too.
GLAMDRING (33-2328) (55-42-1,202) of OBSIDIAN HALL TV challenged ASSUR (18-7821)
(101-144-2,208) of ARROGANCE. GLAMDRING was savagely defeated by ASSUR in an exciting
3 minute gory Challenge melee. Glamdring is of course our top Total Parry, while
Assur is not currently a stylemaster although he has been in the past, and he was
voted this turn's favorite.
MIKEL (6-6190) (82-92-3,192) of THE LADY'S LIST fought DIGITALIS (33-6862) (35-
41-1,175) of OBSIDIAN HALL. MIKEL lost to DIGITALIS in a 2 minute brawl. Top
