Reflections by the Keeper of the Runeblade
Hello Darkholm! Greetings from your Keeper! I've been silent during my tenure
here, it is true. No Malic, I am not responding to your constant urging to pen this
letter. I am simply not the speaker that Wyvern is, or was rather. I simply let my
record stand for me. Today, however, is a special occasion. It is likely that as you
read this I have already competed for the last time here. It is time for me, and my
stablemate Digitalis, to move on to Primus. Yes, that means the Runeblade, this
magnificent weapon, will be up for grabs!
If I were one prone to wagers I'd gamble on Aelfwine to be my successor but I
hear tell that there may be quite a few new faces in Darkholm soon. It may shape up
to be quite a race to grab this prestigious honor!
To Mikel and Assur, my two most common opponents here, well fought! I came to
Darkholm relatively unkown and leave quite accomplished. I have held the Runeblade
for an extended period and enjoyed Tournament Victor status twice in the Freshmen
class and again in ADM. I hope to one day do the same in Eligibles so I move to
Primus to further my training and to assist my stablemates in the upcoming King of
Primus.

Hullo there!
Glamdring has gone on to Primus, bless his fierce heart, but I thank him for his
column nonetheless. We saw 13 fights today, 4 of them with stand-in opponents who
this turn, except of course for the great Ferd, might as well have been practice
dummies. There was just one challenge, and apparently no avoids at all. *Yawn*
Sorry.
WINNING SIDE (6-4276) (18-21-1,76) of OINGO BOINGO challenged GOLDEN SPIKE (1-1856)
(20-21-0,74) of OBELISK 005. WINNING SIDE was devastated by GOLDEN SPIKE in a 1
minute mismatched Challenge fight. Winning side is quite game, I'll give him that.
Tough man.
PHILTHRY (42-2079) (100-95-0,216) of HIGHLANDERS fought ASSUR (18-7821) (119-161-
2,193) of ARROGANCE. PHILTHRY was demolished by ASSUR in a popular 2 minute gruesome
one-sided melee. Philthry is our reigning Parry-Strike, and Assur is top Basher and
this turn's favorite.

3469) (89-130-1,195) of HIGHLANDERS. BATTLE BANSHEE was subdued by PELIS THE TRUE in
a crowd pleasing 2 minute competition. The Banshee is our leading Striker, while Mr.
True is overall popularity leader.

of GRIZZLED VETERANS. MIKEL vanquished KYLROI in an exciting 1 minute mismatched
fight. Mikel is top Slasher.
