Skaithvarn:
The Lord Dankilvan had given them temporary quarters in his mansion. A suite
among the servants, but that was okay, the decor was less overpowering.
Berdan looked around at the nearly plain hangings that covered the walls of the
central room in the suite and scowled. "I don't like this," the ex-assassin growled.
"Sequestering us! This Dankilvan is up to something."
Raoul shrugged, took off his hat and looked at it, then put it back again. The
gesture didn't mean anything, but it gave him time to think about his answer without
being rude. And he was really tempted to be rude. Berdan was repeating himself.
And the gladiator was getting tired of repeating his answer. But one more time...
maybe it would get through this time. "Lord Dankilvan is trying to keep Skaithvarn
out of Alastarian politics. Can't blame him for that! We don't want that
entanglement, either."
"He's sending a Delarquan spy with us--"
"A Delarquan gladiator who may or may not be a spy. So?"
"She'll be a spy. Everything we do will be reported to this--"
"Are you planning to do something you want to hide?" Jeri Northwind asked.
Berdan jumped a little, having forgotten that she was there. "No, but--"
"Then it isn't a problem. In fact," she exchanged a glance with Raoul, who
nodded slightly, "in fact, it's a good thing. It means the S'varni won't have to
worry about what we might be up to, because they'll know what we ARE up to."
"Right, doll. And besides, better the spy we know and can see than one we
don't. Surely you realize that, Berdan?"
The ex-assassin sighed and shrugged. "I suppose so."
*** ***** *** ***** ***
Hallie O'Dene turned out to be an elf. A southern elf, a dark-skinned Shagornan
elf, an elf of the kind deeply distrusted by the northern elves who figured in the
ancestry of all Fratsfan nobles.
Berdan refused to have anything to do with her. "And how Dankilvan, himself of
the High Blood, could actually employ her, trust her--!" He stormed around their
sitting room, not quite throwing things but looking as though he wanted to.
Hallie O'Dene watched quietly, showing no offense, nor any other reaction except
mild interest. Leaning just a little toward Jeri, she asked, "Does he have a strong
heart? Because he's a prime candidate for apoplexy right now."
Jeri put a hand over her mouth to hold back a snort of laughter. "I don't know
him that well," she admitted, "but fortunately, we can do this without him if we have
to."
The Delarquan's eyebrows rose. "You think he might abandon the mission just to
avoid working with me?"
"He might, doll," Raoul said, coming to sit between the two of them on the
room's long couch as Berdan continued to rage up and down the room, cursing Hallie,
Raoul and Jeri, Peranis, Dankilvan, and other people they'd never heard of
comprehensively and bitterly. "That doesn't worry me so much as that he might quit
us and try to go on without us--go into competition with us over it. How much can we
trust him? The man used to be a spy and an assassin, after all."
"Well, it's as good as a play," Hallie said, "but Lord Dankilvan wants us to get
ON with things. Maybe we should try to stop him?"
Raoul shook his head. "He's got to get through it, doll. But maybe we should
get on with it ourselves. Jeri and I are ready to go--we didn't unpack when we got
here."
"Leave Berdan to follow when he calms down?" Jeri asked.
"Or go back to Andor, if that's what he wants to do." Raoul shrugged. He
glanced at Jeri, who jumped up and grabbed a backpack.
"I'm ready," she said. As soon as Raoul and Hallie had picked up their packs,
she added, "What's the matter with this Leemith place that Lord Dankilvan mentioned?
He didn't seem to like them at all."
Hallie led the way out the door. "I've got horses waiting for us," she said.
"The Leemin, well, they're all vampires. Generally good neighbors, but still, you
just don't trust a town full of vampires, do you?"

In the Far West:
Shania Silverstar stared at the man, eyes narrowed in calculation. She sorted
data quickly. A man of the local race, one she'd never seen before, not that she'd
seen all the races of Ghea. An advanced gladiator. The nearest of Lady Greywand's
arenas lay to the east of here, in Lirith Kai. And the westernmost of those
arenas.... "You're from Simtakka?"
"Smart as well as beautiful, I see." Faintly sneering. Not mocking her--she
thought that he probably faced all life with a sneer. "I earned my immortality in
Simtakka," he admitted after a moment. His scarred hands flexed. "I did it the hard
way, too. The Adantri aren't all pushovers."
"The ones I've met aren't," Shania agreed. "And their sense of honor is strong.
Very strong."
He bristled immediately. "If you're expecting that kind of soft-in-the-head
honor from ME--"
Shania smiled faintly. Some things a woman didn't need magic to understand.
"You could have attacked me while I slept," she said. "But you didn't. Yes, I am
expecting that honor from you. My name is Shania Silverstar, I graduated from an
Andorian arena." She held out her hand.
"Andorian. Gods, I should have known...a lot more softheaded than the Adantri.
Gods curse the luck." When her extended hand didn't waver, he finally grasped it and
shook it once, then turned away. Over his shoulder, he growled, "I'm called Zakar."
"Zakar. Good. If you have food out there, I would be glad to share it with
you."

"There shouldn't BE a reef here!" Werre said again, scowling at his chart.
"But we're stuck on one just the same," Jammies said with cheerful tactlessness.
"Where do you suppose it came from?"
"Doesn't matter where it came from," Ashon Chang growled. "The important thing
is getting off it before the waves pound us into pieces."
"Which they will do," Rughal added, studying the clouds that were being driven
up from the south by a strong wind, and the increasingly rough sea below them.
"This is some kind of magical effect," Herlas muttered. He had been tentatively
readmitted to comrade-ship and allowed to move about the ship freely...although
Rughal was usually not far away. "The reef, at least. The coming storm," he turned
to stare southward, "I don't know. Even that MIGHT be magical. There's a mishmash
of forces at work here...."
"Can magic get us off this reef then?" Werre asked suddenly. "Can you do
something?"
Herlas shrugged. "I don't think so. This is not my area of expertise--weather,
ships, and the moving of large objects." His eyes, unusually dark for a Fratsfan,
narrowed as he stared into the water. "This is what comes of not stabilizing the Eye
quickly enough," he muttered. "It could have been prevented--" He twitched when
Rughal, standing behind him, growled. More briskly, he went on, "I don't think
there's a lot I can do here, very powerful forces are at work--more powerful than
those any one, or any two men, for that matter, can muster. And if our hull has been
damaged, we might not WANT to get the ship off this reef, you know! Better to be
stranded than to sink."
"We won't sink if we get moving quickly enough," Werre countered. "If we get
off right away. But if we stay here and let the wind and the waves pound us and drag
us back and forth across whatever it is we hit--"
"Looks like the top of a belfry," Jammies said, hanging over the side.
Werre looked at Ashon Chang, who stared back at him. Then both of them glanced
around. They were in the middle of a plain of water, with not even a rocky islet to
be seen.
"I don't suppose it matters what we hit," Ashon Chang said after a moment. The
important thing is to get off it without having the bottom torn out of our ship."
"Well, at least this explains why there aren't a lot of other ships following
this good current," Vurand said. "What do we do?"
"Two men over the side," Werre decided. "With ropes to keep them from being
swept away, of course. To find out exactly how we're hung up." He glanced around
the little group. "I presume all of you can swim?"
*** ***** *** ***** ***
Shania washed her hands in the little stream that flowed through the shrine,
then sat back against the wall and sighed. "I needed that, thank you. Delicious."
Zakar, squatting on the other side of the stream licked his own fingers and
snorted. "Delicious," he repeated mockingly. "I bet you never ate korry in your
life."
"That the food was unfamiliar doesn't make it necessarily inedible," she
retorted. She glanced out the doorway of the shrine. Twilight had fallen, but the
sounds of a large population were still audible, and the light breeze carried the
scent of thousands of cooking fires as well as the smell of a seacoast. "How long
can we stay here?"
Zakar shrugged. "I don't suppose Hodan cares, even if he really is a god and
not just a myth. But we're both going to have people looking for us, and sooner or
later, they'll look here."
Shania blinked. "They'd violate a religious sanctuary? And what 'they', come
to think of it? I know I am likely to be pursued by priests, but what about you?"
"Everybody'd like to catch me." He seemed to take satisfaction in that. "I'm a
flaming revolutionary. And a heretic, too. 'Course, those're the same thing, here
in Zinaco." At her surprised look, he added, "They're a theocracy."
"What did you do to--? No, that's none of my business, I suppose. How do we
get out of here before we're found? Do we work together," she wasn't sure she wanted
to work with Zakar, there was something about him...but he was the only potential
ally she had here, "or each manage our escape separately?"
Zakar was silent for a long time, studying her with a critical gaze, the way he
might look at a horse he was thinking of buying. From someone he didn't trust.
Finally he said, "We work together." His hard mouth curled into a smile of sorts.
"I've got half an idea, but it would mean playing roles--you much good as an
actress?"
Shania's eyes narrowed. He seemed too pleased with his idea for it to be
something she was going to like. "Depends on the role." She considered mentioning
her magical skills and immediately decided against it. Better to keep that knowledge
in reserve until she knew Zakar better. And maybe not then.
*** ***** *** ***** ***
In the end, it was Ashon Chang and Rughal who went over the side. "Because,"
the samurai explained to Rughal as he slid down a rope and into the water, "we are
victims of our own honor. Werre must remain with the ship, as our most skilled
sailor, neither Jammies nor Vurand swims well, and Herlas claims that he cannot swim
at all. Less honorable men than we are might point out--" He gasped. "The water is
colder than I expected! Might point out," he continued, moving out of the path of
Rughal's descent, "that no great degree of swimming is required, and there ARE the
safety ropes...."
Rughal laughed, which Ashon Chang considered a small victory; the ranger hadn't
so much as smiled since Shania had been taken from them. "I'd go back up and do just
that," he said, "but we're already down here and wet, so we might as well take a look
at things."
The two men made their way along the small ship's waterline, probing with light
poles for depth. Rughal, who was in the lead, made the first find. "Something
here," he said, handing Ashon his pole. "I'll take a look." Before the samurai
could reply, he doubled and thrust downward vanishing beneath the surface.
The next minute seemed a very long one, and Ashon Chang began to hyperventilate
in preparation for diving himself.
Rughal resurfaced, gasped in breath, and said, "It IS a belfry! Or at least the
roof of some kind of tower. Hard to tell what, and who cares? I think we can get
off when the wind changes, IF it changes, as it usually does at sunset."
"Is the hull damaged?"
"Not that I can see. It's a roof with two ridge poles, and the front of our
ship is sitting between them like they were the jaws of a vice. We can't go forward,
but we should be able to go back, if the wind will cooperate." Rughal grabbed his
rope and began to pull himself up hand over hand.
"Excellent!" Ashon Chang began to pull himself up as well. "If the wind
doesn't cooperate, we will get Herlas to do it."

Not Talahya:
This place that wasn't Talahya, this Hub, was the most confusing city the
gladiators had ever seen, as well as the largest. There were stone blockhouses with
grim monster masks on their facades, and huts of some kind of jointed wood or reed
with thatched roofs, and tall, narrow wooden houses with elaborate wooden lace
trimming and wild colors, houses of mud, and brick, and even glass, log cabins,
towers that might have been made out of seashell, and scaled domes, all jumbled
together. Most of the people who crowded the streets were human, though varying
wildly in their dress, but there were elves and dwarves and orcs, lizardmen like
Thristle, Ardaunar, a feline race that resembled the Pridefolk of Ghea, and others
too strange to categorize with a quick glance.
Thristle's "guildhouse" was not like any Scarlatti had seen before. It was
built in the form of a hollow square with a modestly-sized courtyard in the center
and three stories around it; the upper floors were set back so that each had a broad
deck in front of the rooms. Well, no, it was a little like the oldest houses in
Zuwayza. He had used to think that the Karnhorns had brought that building style
from Serevada, because it sure didn't fight the Zuwayzan climate. But Serevada
wasn't any warmer, so he didn't know where it came from, just that it wasn't
particularly practical. Now he wondered if it was practical anywhere, because it
caught the sunlight and concentrated it in this courtyard and to a lesser extent on
the terraces, and he was sweltering.
Of course, lizards liked being hot, within reason. Maybe these guys had brought
the style from THEIR home. And it did have one great advantage: it provided privacy.
No telling when a person might need privacy.
Thristle gave a trilling call that no human could have voiced, and his fellow
gladiators began to emerge from the curtained doorways around the courtyard and on
the terraces. All lizard folk, of course, and many of them noticeably larger than
Thristle. And armed. Rather intimidating, actually, because the first thing one of
them did was to shut the gate that led back to the street.
There was a brisk exchange of incomprehensible sounds. Finally Thristle turned
to the Ghean gladiators and said, "I have told them how you stood with me against the
Ardaunar, and how you came to be here by some magical fluke. They have agreed that
you are to stay with us for now, and that we will do what we can to put you in the
way of going home. But it is likely that in return you must join with us in the
arena. The final decision, though, will be made by our captains." He gestured
toward the widest doorway on the courtyard level. An elaborately decorated cloth
hung there, and on one had come out of it so far. "If you will come with me to speak
to captains Lirtr and Ristrisks and Zith, who all speak the language of the Hub as
well as I do, we can make the final negotiations."
"Final negations," Rogan muttered. "I don't know if I like the sound of
that...."
Carris Fallstar glanced at the blind Aruaki sharply, then around at the clusters
of lizard men.
"It need not have such a negative implication," Moonjumper murmured. She, too,
glanced around with as casual an air as she could manage.
"Thristle was friendly," Scarlatti protested, keeping his voice down too.
"In a human, that behavior would be friendly," Carris said quietly. "But
Thristle is not human. Who knows what his people might mean by such an appearance?
It could be how they bait traps." The elf gestured slightly toward the doorway,
where the lizard man was waiting for them. "We'd better go on in. It might be as
innocent as anything could be, and anyway, we're arousing who knows what suspicions
by lingering here." He walked firmly and confidently toward the curtained doorway.

REPORT FROM WITHIN THE TOWER
The one night had turned into a month as King Mickeal and his forces were
sitting still in Andor, with no immediate plans to move out. An envoy had arrived
from the Karnhorn Empire, seeking audience with the King and meeting with him every
day for the last three weeks. Arrion Bohr, the King's chief councilor, and his
bodyguard Khazakh were the only two Andorians allowed in the room, while the Karnhorn
had an entourage of five, including two bodyguards. The King had agreed to meet this
way to allow the emissary to feel more comfortable in a foreign land. Warlock and
Crystal were only comfortable not being in the room because they knew that King
Mickeal was himself armed and armored for the meetings, and was more than capable of
handling himself if need be.
The two gladiators sat now in Crystal's quarters, which were well appointed from
her years living at the palace. They were enjoying the quiet time that comes just
before dawn, when the world begins to brighten and the dark of night peels away in
layers. The air coming in the open door to the terrace held the chill of winter,
though the fireplace gave off more than enough heat to keep them both comfortable.
Warlock sat with his mug of cider steaming in his hand, blowing on the hot
liquid to cool it enough to drink. He gazed across the mug at his companion,
marveling at how much more beautiful she looked to him with each passing day. He
knew she wasn't changing, but still had a hard time grasping the fact that he was
falling for her. Falling for her hard.
"A jerrie for your thoughts," Crystal said, turning her gaze from the window to
Warlock. Her hair was loose and framed her face beguilingly, tempting the wizard to
take her face in his hands and....
"Warlock?" she laughed. "You're off in another world this morning."
Warlock straightened in his chair and set his mug on the table, feeling rather
silly for allowing his mind to wander like a schoolboy. "Sorry, Crystal," he replied
lamely. "I was just thinking...."
"I noticed," she said, playfully shoving his shoulder. "You've been doing that
a lot more lately, and don't look all shocked that I noticed. We've been through an
awful lot together over the last year, and I think I can read you pretty well."
Warlock did well to hide his embarrassment at the idea she might know his
thoughts. He chuckled helplessly, wishing he was more sure of himself and of her
feelings, whatever they may be. "Am I that obvious?" he asked, not wanting to play
his hand if she was wrong about what was on his mind.
Crystal was smarter than that, however, and he could almost see the light coming
out of her eyes as she caught on that he was indeed thinking about something serious.
"Well," she said tentatively, coming forward in her chair. "I was going to say you
were worried about King Mickeal, but now I'm not so sure."
Warlock could see he was going to have no choice but to talk to her about his
feelings. His confidence was boosted a little when she took his hand in her own and
smiled at him. "Crystal...I think we need to talk."
***************************************************************************
Anikan sat off to one side of the room, his quarterstaff resting across his
knees as he waited his turn in the sparring ring. Alain was giving Earthquake a
beating, his experience and style advantages too much for the total parry to
overcome. He'd already watched Monica and Renshaw spar, as well as Mrs. Jones and
Deadpool. He was going to have to spar with one of them, since they did not have an
even number in their group.
"I yield," Earthquake finally gave in. He was battered from the practice
session, but he wasn't the only one breathing heavily.
"Well done," Alain complimented him. "Keep that up a little longer and you
could be King's Sentinel. Earthquake beamed at the praise.
Anikan was on his feet almost immediately, approaching the ring and swinging his
staff to loosen his arms. All the others were watching him as he made his way into
the ring, then turned and waited. No one seemed to be ready to get in the ring with
him.
"I think your idea is working out well, at least with regard to learning each
others fighting styles and abilities," Monica said as she got to her feet. She
approached Alain and took the practice swords from his hands. "But we need another
sparring partner to keep any one of us from having to fight twice. Unless, of
course, our Primus warriors want to volunteer."
Alain chuckled as he toweled the sweat from his face. "Not me," he said.
"Earthquake should be inducted, the way he stayed with me like that."
They all laughed at that, each having had a turn with the other in the three
weeks they'd been waiting. They weren't happy about the wait, but the King had put a
hold on their mission pending a visit with an ambassador in Andor. In the mean time,
Alain had suggested daily training sessions where they could hone their skills and
learn to work cohesively as a group.
"I have some training set up in a couple of days," the former assassin said when
no one else had an answer. "I've invited some of my alliance mates to come in and
give us a little team challenge, to test our capabilities to work as a team, to see
how well we might compliment one another."
There was a general murmur of agreement from them, then Anikan cleared his
throat meaningfully. The others groaned, none of them really wanting to go another
round.
Renshaw had the answer. "Okay, new plan," he said, taking a practice weapon
from a rack. "Multiple opponents for the short straw, which today, was you." He
finished by pointing his weapon at Anikan who just grinned at the thought.
"Sounds good to me," he said and sent his staff into a defensive spin.
Monica still stood with the weapons she'd taken from Alain, looking from Renshaw
to Anikan and back again. "Shall we?" she offered Renshaw with a bow.
"Let's."
***************************************************************************
Well, all, it seems I've been caught up in things greater than I and have missed
the last two cycles of fights here in Andorak, but no longer! I'm back with a
vengeance, and it will be the new and improved me, I assure you! This turn sees us
losing a lot off our top end as the split has just run, and Primus will be all the
better for our loss. Don't forget that you still represent Andorak and Andoria when
you go off to Primus!!! Never forget your roots! (Even you, Demonfang.... <grin>)
This cycle had all the intrigue and drama you've come to expect here in Andorak,
so let's jump right into the fights for the turn:
GRAA ROCKBROW (15-3121) (43-34-0,241) of HALL OF GIANT challenged STRAWBERRY
BUSH (82-5460) (16-4-0,299) of POISONOUS PLANTS. GRAA ROCKBROW viciously subdued
STRAWBERRY BUSH in a 3 minute Challenge fight. Up 58. I would have thought this to
be the Title bout, but it wasn't. Well played, Graa! I expect to see you buying
drinks for Strawberry after such an entertaining display of prowess on both your
parts.
JE SUIS BIEN (26-626) (76-40-0,247) of HEADBANGERS challenged PLUTO (68-7735)
(52-51-2,200) of REAL FAKE CHARACTERS. JE SUIS BIEN viciously subdued PLUTO in a
crowd pleasing 4 minute Challenge brawl. Down 47. And the streak continues, as Je
Suis Bien makes yet another DC against a warrior with less fights. Tsk, tsk. Pluto,
challenge back with that "special" strategy we talked about...you can do it!
MICHAEL HONORBLADE (11-3300) (85-51-0,193) of KNIGHTS OF VIRTUE challenged
MERCURY (99-780) (47-45-5,195) of WAR SEEKERS. MICHAEL HONORBLADE was overpowered by
MERCURY in a 1 minute Challenge match. Up 2. Mercury wants me to mention this one
since Michael made such a small challenge and lost. There you go, Mercury...I
mentioned it. Good job.
BUTCH (66-1831) (72-72-4,196) of THE INQUISITION challenged QUICHE LORRAINE (46-
3451) (27-21-1,198) of DEATHTONGUE. BUTCH bested QUICHE LORRAINE in a popular 1
minute Challenge duel. Up 2. Thank you, Butch, for representing Tarrgir with both
an up-challenge AND a win. Your drinks are on me, big girl.
RENSHAW (63-2033) (41-32-1,188) of BAILE BEAG challenged JUPITER (44-2554) (46-
51-0,205) of SHERWOOD FOREST. RENSHAW was devastated by JUPITER in a 1 minute
mismatched Challenge match. Up 17. Nice try, Renshaw, but I'm afraid your mission
must have you a little distracted. Don't worry, you'll be on the road soon enough.
Jupiter, good job on the win.
LADY HERBBLOOD (37-2376) (26-21-2,176) of MEDICINE SHOW challenged DIS-EMBOWEL
(63-2025) (41-36-0,197) of DIS-TEAM. LADY HERBBLOOD was overpowered by DIS-EMBOWEL
in a 1 minute uneven Challenge melee. Up 21. I think she reached a little too far
that time, don't you? At least Dis-embowel didn't live up to his name and eviscerate
the Lady.
VISION (26-1573) (33-20-2,174) of HEADBANGERS challenged HEATHER (48-3062) (83-
147-7,179) of STARS. VISION was viciously subdued by HEATHER in a action packed 6
minute Challenge fight. Up 5. Heather somehow manages to pull one win closer to
.500. Too bad she needs another 63 in a row.
ZEBRAWOOD (41-3595) (41-30-0,147) of ACTION TOYS challenged SALINE LAMORAK (11-
4261) (31-38-0,174) of SCARLET KNIGHTS. ZEBRAWOOD defeated SALINE LAMORAK in a
exciting 4 minute Challenge fight. Up 27. Another one of those great fights to
watch, as the challenger pulls the big win. Congrats, Zebrawood!
STORM LXV (60-4972) (18-10-0,53) of DEATH STUDS VII challenged LUKARIAN LAMORAK
(11-4841) (18-15-0,27) of SCARLET KNIGHTS. STORM LXV overcame LUKARIAN LAMORAK in a
popular 3 minute Challenge bout. Down 26. Okay, the other DC I can live with. It
was at the top end and the warrior is well known for committing the transgression.
But for one of The Sentinel's warriors to do this in the face of all Andoria, right
in front of Doc Steele (his arch-nemesis on the subject), I just don't get. Granted,
the FE is probably the same (or close) but it's not like Stormie didn't have plenty
of opponents ABOVE to choose from. <sigh>
And for the top spot in Andorak, the King's Sentinel will be all new, as
Demonfang is off to Primus....
EARTHQUAKE (60-1468) (105-65-1,249) of NATURAL DISASTERS challenged TALISMAN
SHIELDGUARD (11-4304) (39-27-0,252) of SCARLET KNIGHTS. EARTHQUAKE luckily beat
TALISMAN SHIELDGUARD in a 3 minute Challenge Title melee. Up 3, and a great fight it
was. Earthquake managed to hold on until Talisman was too tired to defend himself,
which is saying something at this level of competition. Congratulations to
Earthquake and manager, Soultaker. Let's have a column and some personals!!!
Until next time, this has been....

Michael Honorblade -- Well fought. I've come a long was since Aruak City, though I
don't believe I've eclipsed you yet, I'm still thankful for the win. Let's dance
again when you want a rematch. I'd be very interested in testing myself again
against such a fine warrior as yourself. -- Talisman
Helio -- I'm off to Primus. Best of luck to you in the future. -- Spellsinger
Intendrid O'Reilly -- Well fought. At least I lost to an alliance mate. -- Siryn

Khalli
Demonfang -- Well, here's hoping my challenge gets through, as well as hoping I get
lucky. That's a lot of hoping, mind you! -- Je Suis Bien
Mars -- Is this the right time to say "told you so" or what? -- Gimethatshield
Jupiter -- I guess that's what I get for not having SOV double check how I would
fight. Maybe I beat you fighting how I should, but definitely not without the right
weapon or tactic. Man, I sucked. -- Vision
Sands -- Well fought, but that shield is still mine. Giverhear! -- Gimethatshield
Axly -- Congrats on the TV. Hopefully you get back on top here soon. -- Headbangers

while, Leeta might let me retire in favor of someone with more to say. It's worth a
try.
Scryb Sprite -- Listen, cute thing, if you want to check out my bathtub, you're
welcome any time. -- Llud
Smith -- Tish. -- Pussycat, who would rather be frying fish, or eating them raw if
possible
Gimme -- An extra shield would slow down my horse too much. But we might discuss
this further. -- Leeta
SOV -- Of course I wasn't. As if! Why should I be? -- Debby Tonte
Zebrawood -- Let no one under-estimate you, but I would like to move up to try to top
talent. -- Lady Herbblood
Artemi Entreri -- Now you have an Andorian name. I hope Demonfang understands. --
Kottonkandy
Zephyr -- Good go round! I caught you off guard. -- F-A'Krill, Andorian

Let it be known far and wide, that the Warrior TUM 18-7380, the Champions Runner-Up
for the recent Tournament, is managed by none other than Shocking Toad. I named this
fabulous warrior after my friend and mentor, TUM, a.k.a. Don! Sorry TUM didn't get
me my first TC; however, a runner-up with all those sandbaggers is pretty impressive,
if I do say so myself. -- Shocking Toad, The Manager
