WARRIOR SPOTLIGHT
Andorian Eye of the Storm
Synopsis:
A small group of Andorian Lord Protectors set out from Andorak almost three
years ago on orders from Sheila Greywand herself to find out what they could about
the mystical Eye of the North. They were led by General Benjimane Dayspring (aka
Shatterstar), who received his promotion orders from King Mickeal just before the
group departed. The trip started out fairly normal, with the group journeying from
Andorak to Kati-Tei by horse, then leaving their horses and making their way on foot
to the small coastal town of Sharntor. It was in this small town that they witnessed
an attack by a large galley, the vessel flying a Karnhorn flag as it rained down fire
and death upon the defenseless town. Two more Lord Protectors joined them there
(Swashbuckle and Lady Hawke), as they'd needed a ship to get them to the Great
Glacier and the ship had needed a Captain.
One of their number (Arcus) had been dispatched to Andor to alert the King of
the attacks, and so while their group had gained two members, it was larger by only
one. They'd set sail and made the short journey without incident, arriving at the
Glacier and undertaking the journey inland. They met up with their contact, another
Lord Protector (Calth Paltrusis aka Duel Bob), and added another to their number
after a skirmish with the local Northwights. Following an overnight storm, the
contact had led them to the Ice Palace. Once there, they could clearly see that it
was in the hands of Northwights and Gargoyles, and a battle ensued. Shatterstar
unwittingly destroyed a Gate with his sword, absorbing and then releasing the Gate's
magic in massive waves of energy that leveled the outer walls of the keep and laid
low most of its defenders. A Folstrom wizard who had been in charge of the Ice
Palace since taking control of its Guardian showed up just before they made land,
immolating their small craft before possessing one of them, Roc, then killing him by
making him explode.
Once inside the ruined walls of the keep, they encountered the Guardian of the
Eye, a great dragon that had been enthralled by the Folstrom wizard. They were
forced into battle, where they lost another of their number (Camisole) to the magic
of the Eye. They managed to defeat the creature when Jhadzia Shimmermoon leapt upon
its head and drove her sword into the Eye, dislodging it from the dragon's head.
They Eye, it turned out, had once been an elven woman who was an ancestor of their
dead companion Camisole, as well as Shatterstar and Jhadzia. The Eye gave up her
essence in an effort to coexist with Camisole, bringing her back to life; but was
unable to sustain herself and after just a few hours, faded away to the afterlife.
It has been almost a year now that the Andorians have been stranded here in the
Ice Palace on the Great Glacier. They've searched the entire Palace several times,
each time finding something they had missed the time before, but still unable to find
a way to escape. The moat surrounding the island the Palace sits on never once froze
over, and there was nothing in the keep they could use to build a boat or raft to get
them across, let alone get them back to Calth's igloo or beyond that to the coast.
Besides, they'd long ago missed their deadline to rendezvous with Swashbuckle's
crew...
Present Day:
Shatterstar sat in the throne room of the Ice Palace fully aware of the low
morale his companions were experiencing, as he was feeling it himself. He watched
Jhadzia and Chi'en sparring...again...and wondered at how good the two ladies from
Tuft Tuggers were getting. He brought his thoughts back to morale, and continued to
dwell on the idea that had been growing in his mind...an idea of what they should do
to get out of their current predicament. He knew he would have to make a decision
soon, as they were all starting to wear on each other's nerves after an entire year
stranded.
Between the nine of them, they had managed to cover the entire inside of the
Palace many times over. None of them had missed a room, hallway, or closet. They
had managed to locate enough food stores to feed an army, and Calth had shown them
how to fish the frigid waters of the moat, so they'd had plenty of food and even
water, as Shatterstar and Camisole had been able to use their limited magic to purify
the salt water to make it drinkable.
Over the course of time, they had forged deep friendships with each other, some
stronger than others, as with his sister, Phantazia, and her fellow Knight Calth
Paltrusis. He couldn't say for sure that they were romantically involved, but he was
pretty sure that they were. Sayn Vann and Lady Hawke spent a lot of time together as
well, though the older man was more of a mentor to the woman than a romantic
interest. His time spent in the Kingsmen gave Hawke a sense of purpose, as she, too,
had once served the King. Jhadzia and Chi'en were closer than ever, leaning on each
other and growing from their fear and trepidation over their plight. The biggest
surprise, however, was Camisole's interest in Swashbuckle. He and Swash had grown
apart since the defeat of the dragon and their subsequent marooning on the frozen
island, their differences causing too much of a strain on them mentally and
emotionally. Shatterstar tried to keep order, and to show empathy to the men and
women who were depending on him to lead them home. Swash, however, allowed his
frustration to show and had been a constant thorn in Shat's side, even trying on one
occasion to supplant him in his role as leader of their expedition.
The worse thing was, he knew Swash was planning something once again. No one
had told him anything, no one had overheard any whispered plans, but he was sure that
the rogue was scheming. He needed to DO something so that when whatever Swash had
planned went down, he'd have the support of his peers to stay the course.
"What's got you so deep in thought, brother-dear?" Phantazia asked, he voice
husky and breathing labored. She and Calth had been sparring as well, honing their
skills as a way of not only passing the time, but keeping their sanity. The were
warriors one and all, so the constant training regimen he put them all on had served
well and kept them focused.
He turned to look at her, her blonde hair stuck to the side of her face, wet
with sweat, and smiled at just how hard she worked. If only he'd spent as much time
training as a gladiator instead of always running off to do this mission or that,
maybe he'd be doing as well in their sparring sessions as she was. She was clearly
the best of all of them and still getting better all the time. "I need to make a
decision," he said, turning back to watch Jhadzia and Chi'en finishing up. "And I'll
need to make it soon."
Phantazia nodded knowingly. She'd been her brother's confidant over the last
year and knew well what had him on edge. "He'll move soon, Shat," she said, her
voice sad. "And you'll have to be ready for him when he does."
"Does he have support from any of the others?" Shatterstar dared to ask.
Phantazia paused for a moment before answering. "Not from me he doesn't."
"Calth?" he dared.
Silence.
Nodding his head he rose from his chair and stretched, taking up his two-handed
practice sword and loosening up his muscles. "Any of the others?"
"Maybe Camisole," she said. "I'm unsure about Lady Hawke and Chi'en, but I do
know for sure that Sayn Vann and Jhadzia will back you. They have a greater sense of
loyalty, I guess."
Shatterstar smiled and patted his sister's shoulder. "I don't question any of
their loyalties, little sister," he said. "They are just confused and scared. And
depressed. They need a reason to believe and to continue to...hope."
They stood together in silence for a moment, each lost in their own thoughts.
Swash strode into the room, wearing his finest silks and his flamboyant hat,
Camisole on his arm. They walked toward Shatterstar and Phantazia, deliberately and
with purpose. "This doesn't look good," Phantazia whispered. Swash and Camisole
each had their packs and gear and looked to be prepared for a journey, though that
thought seemed preposterous given their current situation.
Swash stopped several feet away from Shatterstar and turned toward Camisole,
kissing the priestess on the mouth before closing the distance between himself and
Shat. With a bow he swept his hat off, its plume looking as fine as ever.
"Greetings, oh noble general," he mocked as he rose to his feet, hat back on his head
in an instant.
"Going somewhere?" Phantazia asked sarcastically.
Swash was about to answer when Shatterstar cut in. "As a matter of fact, we are
going somewhere," he said loudly, never taking his eyes off the wily sea captain.
The elf silently enjoyed the genuine look of surprise on Swash's face for only a
moment before continuing. "Today, when I was searching the wizard's room for any
further clues, I found something I'd not found before."
The look on Swash's face spoke volumes to the elf. He'd definitely stolen the
man's thunder. "There was an entry in one of the books on the shelf there, not a
journal, which no one among us ever found, but a book of poetry." Again, though he
tried to hide it, Shat caught the momentary trace of guilt flash across Swash's face.
He'd known about the journal, but hadn't said anything about it, and still would not,
but he wanted Swash to know that he knew.
"What was in this book, General," Sayn Vann asked, his curiosity getting the
better of him.
A chorus of voices repeated the question as everyone else but Swash and Camisole
asked what Shatterstar had read.
"Seek the stars of Osira and to you the message will be made clear. Silver,
Gold, and Bronze will light the way to the statues' homeland. When the three are
made one, and the one is made two, only then shall the Gate open," Shatterstar
quoted. "That was what I read."
Swash breathed an audible sigh of relief, thinking that Shat had erred. "And
just how does this little passage get us out of here?"
Shatterstar simply smiled at him and turned to Jhadzia and Chi'en. "Jhadzia,
may I have that bronze medallion you found?"
"Sure," she answered going to her pack and retrieving the amulet.
Chi'en moved off as well, not needing to be asked to retrieve the similar amulet
that she had found, hers being silver.
The two women returned with the amulets and handed them to Shatterstar, who took
them and nodded his thanks.
"Now, did any one else find a medallion similar in size and shape to these?"
Shatterstar asked. He looked directly at Swash as he finished with, "It would be
made of gold."
"I have it here, Benjimane," Camisole said, pulling the gold amulet and its
golden chain from around her neck. She handed it over to Shatterstar despite the
seething glare she got from Swashbuckle and then stepped back, moving to stand next
to Jhadzia.
"If you look at these, they do not look like stars, do they?" Shat asked
quietly, almost to himself. He was holding them by their chains, dangling them for
all to see, swaying them easily back and forth, rhythmically swinging them, catching
the light from their torches and making the amulets seem to catch fire.
After only a few moments, the swaying of the medallions entranced all his
companions. He quickly placed the amulets around the necks of the three women who
had given them to him and stepped back. He then took each of them, all eight, by the
arm and led them to certain positions around the room, spacing them out with exact
precision based upon the previously unseen markings that had begun to glow on the
floor. Jhadzia, Chi'en, and Camisole were each position at the points of a three-
point star, while all the others stood in the middle of the three women.
"The three should be made one and the one shall be made two," he recited the
incantation as it had been written in the wizard's journal...the one in Swash's pack.
"Open now that we gathered here shall be allowed to pass into the Queen's realm."
Each of the medallions flashed brightly and then burned steadily with light.
The companions came to their senses but didn't move as they watched the bronze,
silver, and gold light shimmer upon the three women and then began to elongate,
stretching forth to touch each of the other lights until they blended into a single
color. Then the light flashed once again and was gone, taking the amulets with it.
Everyone blinked in confusion and began asking questions and making demands all
at once, each of them looking for Shatterstar and an explanation. They finally found
him laying off to the side, his face covered in sweat and expression filled with
pain. Dragons' Talon laid at his feet, the blade broken in two and the eye in its
pommel dull and lifeless.
They rushed to his side, each wondering what had happened and again asking what
seemed like a million questions all at once. Shatterstar patted the air with his
hand, calming them somewhat and begging for silence. Swash stepped up and with Sayn
Vann's help got Shatterstar to his feet. The rogue looked down at the elf's sword
and shook his head. "You didn't have to..." he started to say.
"Didn't I?" Shatterstar interrupted, trying to regain his balance.
"Didn't have to what?" Phantazia asked, her features angry and unforgiving as
she picked up the shards of Dragon's Talon, reverently sliding the broken weapon into
her brother's sheath.
"The spell required a sacrifice...an item of power," he said sadly. "I gave up
my sword so that we could get the hell out of here."
"And how are we supposed to do that, now that you've given up your blade so that
we can," Calth asked, his own disbelief showing on his face. They all knew how much
the sword meant to the elf, and how many times it had saved all of them on their
journeys together.
Shatterstar picked up his own pack and nodded his thanks to the two men who had
been supporting him, shrugging them off as he picked up an extra broadsword he'd been
practicing with lately. "We'll walk, Calth," he said mirthlessly. "That way." He
pointed behind them with the broadsword, indicating where they'd been standing during
the ritual. There, glowing in midair was the outline of a doorway.
"We'll take that Gate."

Zorpunt:
If anyone was aware of a difference in the air of the city, or in the texture of
life and death in the arena, they did not mention it. Of course, with a stranger
holding a wizard's staff and guarded by...some kind of monsters sitting in the
arenamaster's box, who was going to mention things, even if they DID notice?
And who, dying messily in the Dark Arena, would mention strange lights and
unexplained whistling noises? If Arenamaster Kai saw fit to lay down pentagrams and
other designs of colored sand on the arena floor before each fight...well, he WAS the
arenamaster. No doubt he knew what he was doing.
It was known that a few managers intended to protest that they had not ordered
the actual, literal death of their warriors, but only formal dismissal from the
gladiatorial system. But when they came back from the arenamaster's office, they
looked pale and shaken, and they had nothing to tell anyone about the situation. And
one or two of them didn't come back at all.

"There IS something going on," Penok muttered to Jessie June as they waited in
the ready area for their fight to be called. "Something bad. I can feel it in my
bones. I don't care what the Rau says." She jerked her head sideways slightly,
indicating Tijiss Rau, the arena steward waiting in the archway just ahead of them.
"You know Rau," Jessie June muttered back. "'All for the best in the best of
all possible worlds', that's Rau. He wouldn't know 'something bad' if he ate it for
dinner and got sick right after." She eyed the crystals set into the wall of the
arena. About a third of them were black, the rest were blood red. They reminded her
of the eyes of spiders. "If those are purely ornamental, I'll eat 'em."
"Magic," Cane Toad said flatly, coming up behind the two women. "Blood magic.
You can smell it in the air. At least, I can. There's a lot of it down south where
I come from, and I'd know that smell anywhere."
"I thought all magic was screwed up because of the Chaos and the Arcanum and
all!" Penok protested.
The poisonous Toad shook his head firmly. "Not blood magic. You spill enough
blood, nothing else matters."
"And there's always a lot of blood spilled in the arena," Jessie June whispered,
horrified at the possibilities.
"And the arena's been bloodier since those crystals went up," Cane Toad said.
"There's something bad going down here."
Valamantis:
Hallie O'Dene went overland from Andoria to the Delarquan Federation. It might
have been faster to sail--if she could have found a ship going where she needed to
go, or hired one. But she found herself distrusting the Trier. The mage Khaldren
had come out of the Trier, after all. He might have some power over it. And he was
bound to notice that she and Raoul hadn't come back from the errand he'd commanded.
But these were all logical reasons that she had arrived at to explain her decision to
herself. In fact, she simply hadn't trusted the Trier at an instinctive level. She
made her way on foot along the coast to Gelafan, then hired horses as needed for a
fast ride south. Well...fast! She might have laughed if she hadn't been so worried.
Six days to Valamantis. What horrors might the mad wizard have accomplished in six
days?
Her plan was to take a riverboat up the Feyranse past Mordant to Sibikhas, and
then go by horse again to Delarq Tor.
But there were towers behind Valamantis, where no towers had been for hundreds
of years. They had none of the dream-like unreality of the vision towers that
Khaldren had raised over Zorpunt, and that was alarming. Valamantis was much older
than Zorpunt. There had once BEEN towers--it was called Old Valamantis now, and it
was in ruins except for the arena where the Bloodgames were held. On that thought,
Hallie froze briefly, horrified by the realization that there had been Bloodgames
recently, lakes of blood spilled on that ancient soil. What might Khaldren have
conjured out of that? She didn't think she wanted to know.
Aruak City:
The return of a wizard from drowned Krael was news that should reach Andor as
quickly as possible. It took Raoul two days to reach Aruak City from Zorpunt, longer
than he would have liked, but faster than he had feared. The Aruaki countryside had
suffered badly during the civil war and from the Chaos contamination just before
that. People were getting it back into shape now, but there were no horses to be
rented or bought. Or stolen, come to that. Walking was faster than riding a plow
horse would've been, even if he could've gotten hold of one of the plowhorses.
But he was damned glad to see the towers (most of the towers, some were nothing
but stumps) of Aruak city ahead. He compared their slightly battered appearance with
the towers of Khaldren's Zorpunt and found this much better. This was REAL. Maybe
not perfect, maybe not as beautiful as a dream, but real. He'd take this over the
perfect illusion any day.
His first goal in the city was the Bulldog Inn. He needed news, he needed to
contact his manager, and he wanted to alert Adie, the manager of the Tuft Tuggers, to
the danger. Adie was a magician of some kind--he'd never bothered with the details--
and she could be an important part of the opposition to the Kraelian. EARLY
opposition, too, before the man got entrenched in Zorpunt. That might make a
difference.
The Inn was jammed. Odd, that. Aruak City had always had a vigorous dueling
community, but...this many gladiators? He could barely SEE across the common room,
much less move quickly. But there was a table of managers in an alcove at the back.
He'd find news there, if he could reach it.
The Lord Protector took a last look at the crowd, shook his head, and plunged in
under the elbow of a Shew. The man was too tall for most managers, but there were
always one or two who would give a large gladiator a chance. From the looks of the
scars, this man had been at it a while, but he was nobody Raoul recognized. Well,
he'd been away for a long time. Quite a long time, actually.
"Raoul!"
He paused and looked toward the woman whose hand was on his sleeve. Hair like a
sunrise and wide violet eyes. "Lady Adeolar! You're one of the people I wanted to
find. There--"
"Not here in the middle of the floor, Raoul." She drew him to one side and
through an inconspicuous door. "Jhordeal will be glad to know you are well, but
that's not what you came for, is it?"
"Glad to know I'm...?" When had he been in Aruak City last? Mantor, it was
years ago! Before the civil war, and he had died.... He took off his hat, looked at
the rounded, dusty crown, ran a hand over his head, and put the hat back on. No time
to go into that now. "No, doll, that's not why I came this way. There's magical
trouble. Serious magical trouble, I think."
"You came from Zorpunt?" She twisted a lock of hair between nervous fingers.
"I have felt something happening there--something dark--"
He nodded briefly. "I saw it start, and it's going to be damned dark," he
muttered. Quickly, he sketched in what he and Hallie had learned of the wizard
Khaldren and his intentions. "I don't know how he's doing that much magic," he
finished, "because everyone says the Arcanum is in decline and spells aren't working,
but--"
"He's using blood magic." The woman's beautiful face hardened. "It is the
oldest magic and the most primitive. Almost always used for darkness and
destruction," she muttered, frowning, "even though it doesn't have to be.... It's
the least dependent on the Arcanum, unfortunately, the easiest to pervert, and the
hardest to control once it gets started." She frowned, twisting the lock of hair
harder. "In the hands of a powerful wizard with no scruples...."
"That's what me and Hallie figured," Raoul said, nodding. "I'm headed for
Andor--the king has to be warned. And Hallie's taking the warning to Delarq Tor."
"Yes, of course. Definitely the right thing to do. But you need to see your
manager before you leave town, Raoul. He's been worried about you." She patted his
arm absently, still frowning. "I will gather as much information about this wizard
and his spells as I can.... I wish Shania were here, she is so good at that. Well,
I must work with what I have." She patted his arm one last time and opened the door
to the inn's main room. "Off with you, and tell the other managers that...tell them
I have things to do, and I'll add to your news later."
REPORT FROM WITHIN THE TOWER
Greetings one and all! After last turn, you know my hopes were high, but I'm
forced to endure disappointment yet again. Only 10 challenges this turn and we had
19 last turn. C'mon! Let's get to it! I want to see some rivalries going on out
there, and not in match-ups! At least there is at least one manager out there who
challenges every turn...and there were even a few UP challenges from said manager.
Let's run these down real quick and see if any of YOUR challenges turned out the way
you wanted....
JE SUIS BIEN (26-626) (82-45-1,211) of HEADBANGERS challenged TALISMAN
SHIELDGUARD (11-4304) (41-36-0,217) of SCARLET KNIGHTS. JE SUIS BIEN unbelievably
bested TALISMAN SHIELDGUARD in a 2 minute Challenge fight. Up 6. No complaints
here; this is how we do it here in Andorak. I really thought Talisman had this one,
but Je Suis Bien held on and surprised him with that sand in the eyes. Congrats to
the Headbanger on his big win.
QUICHE LORRAINE (46-3451) (27-28-1,182) of DEATHTONGUE challenged WOLVERINE (66-
3871) (32-39-4,189) of X-FORCE. QUICHE LORRAINE demolished WOLVERINE in a popular 1
minute one-sided Challenge melee. Up 7. The tenacity of the wolverine doesn't seem
to have carried over to the X-Force warrior...just look at that record! Maybe if
Armalias was paying more attention, Quiche Lorraine wouldn't have had such an easy
time winning. Congratulations to you, Quiche; well done.
GIMETHATSHIELD (26-1306) (42-31-1,209) of HEADBANGERS challenged WARLOCK (66-
2473) (66-97-2,198) of X-FORCE. GIMETHATSHIELD vanquished WARLOCK in a popular 5
minute mismatched Challenge brawl. Down 11. Hmm. According to my records, Gime
beat Warlock LAST turn as well. Wow. Imagine that?!? A warrior proves he can scum
another warrior two turns in a row. Why don't you try for three times, Gime? Make
my day, you loser.
PEPSI (68-8510) (42-24-0,205) of OVERWORLD challenged HEATHER (48-3062) (86-151-
7,207) of STARS. PEPSI demolished HEATHER in a action packed 1 minute mismatched
Challenge competition. Up 2. With nearly three times the losses compared to Pepsi's
total fights, I couldn't believe it when the Heather fell. Tough luck for the
veteran as the younger, less experienced warrior handed her her 152nd defeat. Ouch.
MRS LIMESCHULTZ (46-2809) (52-60-1,198) of DEATHTONGUE challenged SNOWY OWL (71-
3252) (54-50-0,201) of CALL OF THE WILD. MRS LIMESCHULTZ was devastated by SNOWY OWL
in a 1 minute mismatched Challenge match. Up 3. Snowy Owl proves that she wasn't a
fluke winner of the King's Sentinel position with this big win. Keep it up, Owl, and
I'm sure I'll be buying you drinks again in the very near future.
VISION (26-1573) (38-22-2,205) of HEADBANGERS challenged SANDS (11-4123) (39-50-
3,190) of SCARLET KNIGHTS. VISION savagely defeated SANDS in a action packed 5
minute gruesome Challenge melee. Down 15. Wow. Another win for Headbangers. And
look! Another down-challenge to a manager that isn't paying attention! Wow. I hope
you wake him up (Armalias, that is).
SHIVAA (26-3523) (97-74-0,199) of WARCKERS challenged SILENT LUCIDITY (48-2586)
(36-23-0,204) of PSYCHOTIC ENDEAVOR. SHIVAA was viciously subdued by SILENT LUCIDITY
in a popular 4 minute Challenge duel. Up 5. Shivaa found out just what is meant by
"silent but deadly", I think. Silent, please do not be so...silent. Let's hear a
little bit from you and your manager (Sir Boyd, I presume?). Shivaa...thank you for
your honorable challenge.
BOOMER (20-357) (22-12-0,91) of THE BLUES challenged VAJRA VALMEJAR (11-4928)
(17-22-0,114) of SCARLET KNIGHTS. BOOMER vanquished VAJRA VALMEJAR in a 1 minute
one-sided Challenge fight. Up 23. Way to go, Boomer! That's what I'm talking
about! What a fantastic win for you! Drinks are on me!
BRICK (20-389) (33-28-0,98) of THE BLUES challenged BLACKRAZOR (11-4091) (39-52-
0,143) of SCARLET KNIGHTS. BRICK luckily beat BLACKRAZOR in a popular 2 minute
Challenge melee. Up 45! This was the challenge of the turn for me! The fight was
kind of boring, with Blackrazor unable to do any real damage before he fell over, but
45 points and a win for Brick is indeed a great thing!!! Congrats to you, Brick.
Your drinks are on me, too.
HOMELESS PRINCE (22-6012) (22-5-0,84) of KELLUMBO'S KIDS challenged ATROPHY (14-
4034) (16-9-1,52) of THE DEATH SQUAD. HOMELESS PRINCE assassinated ATROPHY in a 1
minute one-sided Challenge match. Down 32. This is the most shameful thing I've
seen in Andorak in a long time. Not only does this banished (e.g. Homeless?) scum
challenge DOWN 32 points, he has the unmitigated gall to kill poor Atrophy! A
disgrace, I tell you, a dishonor to his home and name! Hopefully Death Squad will
have an answer to this heinous deed. I'm just glad that Atrophy was raised right
away and didn't have a long wait.
And for all the marbles in Andorak we had a rather uneven random match:
MONICA VIRTUESHIELD (11-3208) (97-53-0,315) of KNIGHTS OF VIRTUE fought JUPITER
(44-2554) (50-53-0,209) of SHERWOOD FOREST. MONICA VIRTUESHIELD bested JUPITER in a
2 minute gory Title brawl. Jupiter really tried to hold on and give himself a chance
for the win, but this nearly resulted in his death, as his blood was literally
everywhere. Congratulations go to Monica Virtueshield for her win and claim of the
title King's Sentinel of Andorak! May the virtue of your...oh, screw that...that's
corny...

PERSONAL CORRESPONDENCE
Sablon O Vlad & Leeta -- I suppose a token p-ad now and then, despite not running in
Andorak currently, is technically "sometimes". But at such a low level of substance,
do my tidbits of chat really make a difference...? Maybe if you believe in karma.
;) -- Adie
Khalli -- Hey now! Look who's back in town. It's Giggy! -- Sablon-O-Vlad
Atrophy -- Sorry dude, but you are about the only style that I match up well with up
here. -- Homeless Prince
Dismount -- Dang! If that wasn't the coolest fight I've seen all year. Bet you
didn't know you were a secret aimed blow, eh? -- Vision
Mrs. Limeshultz -- Ahhhhh.... Lovely dancing with you, as always. -- Je Suis Bien
Warlock -- What's up with that? Total Parry, I say. He must have a shield I figure;
and then I can take it! But nooooooo, not even a back-up small one. Next time, you
bring a shield so I can take it! -- Gimethatshield
Managers of Andorak -- You all realize, don't you, that Primus had more personal ads
than we did this turn. What a shame.... C'mon now, take five minutes out of your
day to spread a little fun in the arena. -- Sablon-O-Vlad, Mng. Headbangers
Khalli -- If all goes well, you might just get *two* upchallenges in a row out of me.
-- Je Suis Bien
I won't hold my breath on three.... -- Khalli <grin>
Wolverine -- I didn't expect you to be so flimsy. Have you been taking your vitamins
every day? -- Leeta Stormrider
Wisteria -- But you do make a beautiful clinging vine. -- B. Llud Pitt
Blackrazor -- Perhaps you should go back to being a barber? -- Pussycat
White Christmas -- Horrid thought! Obviously conceived by somebody who doesn't have
to shovel it, or wade through it to get to work, etc. -- Schendirk
P.S. Or pay the heating bills!
4 February 2004
Greeting from Jhans, DM 36 -- In 2 turns the kLk will host our first annual "St.
Valentines Day Massacre" in Jhans, arena 36. (Kill Contest) The contest will begin
on turn 450. It will run for 10 turns. On turn 461 the winners will be announced.
There will be 3 separate categories, the team with the most kills, the alliance with
the most kills, and the warrior with the most kills. For the manager of the team
with the most kills a PRIZE of 10 ROLL-UPS will be rewarded (or $50 deposited into
his account). No need to declare yourself in the personals. If you are in DM 36,
you will be part of the contest whether you like it or not. We encourage as much
trash talk as you'd like. All teams, managers, and alliances invited. Please
contact Polarius (mgr. of Blitzkrieg) in DM 36 with questions. Or you can email me
at jamieptmo@hotmail.com. Good luck and see you in the sands. -- Polarius
