Well, here I am! Sorry for missing last cycle...things were kind of hectic at
home in Tarrgir and I was tied up, if you know what I mean.... But I'm back with a
vengeance, as they say! Only 14 challenge matches this go 'round, so I'll have to
talk a bit to pad the report. Just kidding. No. Really. I'm only joking. Oh, all
right....
HOMELESS PRINCE (22-6012) (31-17-1,186) of KELLUMBO'S KIDS challenged COLWYN
QUICKSILVER (11-4342) (27-12-2,187) of TUFT TUGGERS. HOMELESS PRINCE was vanquished
by COLWYN QUICKSILVER in a 1 minute Challenge battle. Up 1. Colwyn begged me to
point out the fact that the Homeless one has nine more fights (showing), so I'm
pointing. Congrats to Colwyn for staving off such an experienced warrior. Congrats
to Homeless Prince for challenging at all (and for making it a UC, as well!).
JOE SATRIANI (11-4422) (24-30-2,196) of THE HEADCUTTERS II challenged DOALTY
(63-2073) (35-24-0,229) of BAILE BEAG. JOE SATRIANI was overpowered by DOALTY in a 1
minute mismatched Challenge duel. Up 33! Now, while Joe didn't have much of a
chance in this one, he is to be commended for his courage and will be drinking free
for the next week at the Crimson Eagle. On me.
FUNKY ELVIS (30-2754) (30-19-1,183) of TRIP OUT challenged LUCANUS (47-3651)
(44-33-0,185) of DEATH STALKERS. FUNKY ELVIS was devastated by LUCANUS in a 1 minute
one-sided Challenge fight. Up 2. Funk just isn't enough sometimes, as you can see
by the way Lucanus whupped up on Elvis in this one. It was not the most exciting
bout of the cycle, but it sure was fast.
PEPSI (68-8510) (57-29-0,208) of OVERWORLD challenged DEADPOOL (66-2274) (78-81-
7,219) of X-FORCE. PEPSI was devastated by DEADPOOL in a 1 minute one-sided
Challenge duel. Up 11. Pepsi, Deadpool took your challenge and basically handed you
back your can... Get it? Pepsi Challenge...Can? Never mind.
KILIM ALTARAXE (53-6251) (44-30-0,198) of TORSCHIAN TUFTS challenged JESUS (82-
5459) (46-29-3,209) of RISEN FROM THE DEAD. KILIM ALTARAXE viciously subdued JESUS
in a popular 2 minute Challenge competition. Up 9. Not a real popular decision, to
challenge Jesus this time of the year. Not a real popular win, either as Kilim (a
dwarf) bested the Andorak's most popular warrior. Okay, so maybe he's not LISTED as
most popular, but trust me on this one, okay?
GREAT BEAR (74-2851) (26-16-0,164) of TOTEM challenged SMITH (14-1282) (49-99-
4,165) of MIKES. GREAT BEAR was vanquished by SMITH in a 2 minute uneven Challenge
duel. Up 1. These are almost as bad as Even challenges. Great Bear was trying to
pull a fast one by challenging a warrior with more losses than he had fights. Things
aren't always what they seem, though, are they, Bear. Instead of handing Smith his
100th loss, he handed off his 50th win! Congrats, Smith!
CRISSY (11-4993) (27-18-2,175) of VIEW ASKEW challenged STELLA BLUE (53-6167)
(30-19-1,192) of PUERCO'S PINATA. CRISSY vanquished STELLA BLUE in a action packed 1
minute uneven Challenge fight. Up 17. Another great to see challenge on the sands
of Andorak! Crissy not only made a great challenge, but she whipped Stella Blue's
butt!!! Way to represent those blokes in Aruak City! Are you Cadre like most of
them here?
THE FRATSFAN CHEF (30-4385) (20-8-0,158) of ANDORIAN UNIVERSITY challenged DAIN
BRAMAGE (14-3935) (27-15-2,193) of THE DEATH SQUAD. THE FRATSFAN CHEF savagely
defeated DAIN BRAMAGE in a 5 minute Challenge fight. Up 35! Another bug challenge,
and I know this guy is Cadre. What alliance do you represent, Dain Bramage. You
have a great record, so do be careful not to lose it.
CLOVIA SHIMMERMOON (11-4685) (15-3-0,110) of MANIACAL TUFTS challenged HUMMEL
(14-1404) (45-101-2,149) of MIKES. CLOVIA SHIMMERMOON beat HUMMEL in a exciting 1
minute brutal Challenge fight. Up 39!! They just keep getting bigger! This was our
largest challenge differential of the cycle, with Clovia not only braving Hummel, but
beating him! Way to go little Miss Shimmermoon. What a cool name.... Drinks are
free at the Sightless Dragon!
SONIC TACO (30-4337) (24-14-1,120) of TRIP OUT challenged BEAVIS (14-3996) (20-
13-3,137) of THE DEATH SQUAD. SONIC TACO was butchered by BEAVIS in a 1 minute
mismatched Challenge conflict. Up 17. Beavis don't play?!? He ate that Taco like a
starving hyena, man! I mean, there was blood everywhere...it was disgusting!!!
Uhhh...huh-huh...huh-huh.
ERICKA BEARICKA (63-2461) (17-15-0,52) of MONSTER CHILD challenged DAISY JANUARY
(14-3913) (25-22-0,72) of THE DOGHOUSE. ERICKA BEARICKA devastated DAISY JANUARY in
a 1 minute mismatched Challenge bout. Up 20. Another great representation of an
Andorak challenge. Ericka really didn't let Daisy get her feet set before she dove
on her, forcing her into an off-balance defensive posture. After that, it was just a
matter of time...and not much of that. Great fight, both of you.
ZERO THE HERO (14-4129) (19-6-1,80) of THE DEATH SQUAD challenged SKELOS (26-
3897) (32-47-1,89) of GOLDEN CANYON. ZERO THE HERO handily defeated SKELOS in a 1
minute uneven Challenge fight. Up 9. You can look at the number all the way from 39
to here and see where this is headed, can't you. Oh, the bittersweet job of
reporting honor...and dishonor. Not that there was any dishonor in this bout, as
Zero challenged up and defeated Skelos, his opponent for the turn. Skelos lost so
quickly, he didn't even have time to fall down before the match was called.
MAXIMUS (22-5966) (30-20-3,74) of KELLUMBO'S KIDS challenged DIESEL (26-4277)
(17-21-0,58) of WARCKERS. MAXIMUS defeated DIESEL in a 5 minute gruesome Challenge
struggle. DOWN 16. Absolutely, positively no excuse for this in Andorak, Maximus.
Live up to your name, dog, and take on someone ABOVE you. Prove yourself on the
sands by being all you can be. Is that a DCer, or a gladiator with honor? You have
a lot to prove, son...a lot to prove.

Battle Royal 4
The Battle Royal arena contests are one of the purest tests of manager skill
available. The rules are simple. The scoring is simple. The updates are live. If
you would like to participate, simply get a team ready in Talcama in the next month
and announce in the personals that you're in. The prize is bragging rights and
having your name along side previous winners (Doc Steele, Manray Frothingslosh, and
Manager). It is a brutal contest, but it is a lot of fun!
Basic rules: No avoiding other contest teams. Score = Wins + Kills - Losses.
Only fights against other BR teams count. First team to 25 wins!
BR4 begins in Talcama (DM 18) on turn 502, due on Jan 29, 2005.

TURF WAR IV -- GRAND CONTEST NOTICE!
The Turf War IV Grand Contest will commence on Turn 221 (approx. February 22,
2005). For those who have never participated, Turf Wars are alliance-type contest
and Winner-Takes-All. There are no 2nd place winners!
Everyone may participate; known alliances, new alliances, or temporary alliances
created to compete in the Turf War! However, to participate, each alliance must:
A. Announce the alliance name and the Captain of the alliance in the North Fork
(DM #47) newsletter.
Captains are responsible for:
A. Verifying those who wish to participate under the banner of their alliance;
B. Distribution of prizes should their alliance win the TW4.
Managers must:
A. Submit one (1) RSI Roll-up Gift Certificate to participate;
B. Announce their intent to compete with manager name, team name and alliance
in which they will be fighting under, in the DM #47 North Fork newsletter.
Rules:
1. No scoring will begin until an RSI Roll-up Gift Certificate is received. No
exceptions will be made.
2. Before a manager can compete, he must be acknowledged and verified by the Captain
of the alliance he has claimed for;
A. The following turn, points will begin to be awarded or subtracted;
3. Only one (1) team per manager may compete. No multiple aliases please (we'll be
checking this and if caught...you'll be disqualified and no refund);
4. The contest will end on Turn 233 (12 turns!). Winners will be announced on Turn
234 and prizes sent to winning alliance between Turn 233 and 234.
5. No declarations will be acknowledged after Turn 231.
6. For the purpose of scoring, I reserve the right to make all final decisions.

Special Scoring:
A. Each mention in the Spy Report is worth 5 points;
B. Each Style Master is worth 5 points;
Champions:
A. Champions may be declared, but are not mandatory. If declared, they must be
in the Adepts or lower brackets.
Bloodfeuds:
A. Bloodfeuds will count for all four turns. However, the same warrior may not
bloodfeud all four turns. A penalty of -10 will be given to the team who
violates this rule.
Special Conditions:
A. I reserve the right for all final decisions.
B. If I make a mistake, I'll multiply the points by 2;
C. If you claim I did, and *YOU* are wrong; I'll subtract points at the rate of
x10!
D. Each alliance begins with zero (0) points.
E. Dark Arena may be used on the first turn of every warrior with no penalty.
F. T.V.'s won after contest begins gain a Triple rate of scoring.
G. T.C.'s won after the contest begins gain a multiple of 10 scoring.
H. No switching alliances once verified by an alliance.

FACE-TO-FACE XXXIV
Our next Winter Face-to-Face will be held on Martin Luther King weekend, Friday
through Sunday, 14-16 January 2005, at the Embassy Suites in Tempe, Arizona (4400 S
Rural Rd--this is the same hotel as last year). Room rates are $139.00 per night,
1-4 occupancy, which includes breakfast. The rooms are blocked. The reservations
number is 480-897-7444; tell them you're with the "Reality Simulations Face to Face
Convention" block. Our room block will be released in mid-December, so please make
sure you reserve your room before then!
Room rates include a full cooked-to-order breakfast and a complimentary two-hour
manager's reception. There is a free shuttle to the airport, as well as free parking.
The hotel is located down the freeway in Tempe. All rooms have high speed internet
(for an extra charge). There is a fitness center, jacuzzi, and pool, and of course a
bar and Mexican restaurant inside the hotel. And there's Denny's right across the
street. Look for transportation info in the tournament information sheet.
The tournament information sheet/strategy sheet should be out sometime in late
November/early December.
If you haven't been to a Face-to-Face before, you're overdue. If you have,
you'll be back. Don't miss this one, it'll be a blast! See you there!
