Well, what are you looking at, ANDORAK? Ain't you never seen Snide Clemens
before? Ah, shaddup and listen to my news. Of course, we're all terribly impressed
to see ATROPHY win a fight and gain 43 points, terribly. Tsk, tsk, ATROPHY beat
SANDS and SANDS lost 41 points. You're breakin' my heart. Going for broke or
broken, our Duelmaster POETIC JUICE challenged this turn. And it's out with the old,
in with the new, as POETIC JUICE takes the Title and last week's bar tab from the old
Duelmaster. Heh, heh. The Crimson Eagle, humph! I've tasted better ale at
mortuaries. Where do they get this stuff? From ANDORAK's trash dumps?
He who fights and runs away will live to fight another day, the coward.
KELLUMBO'S KIDS, I suppose you'll be glad to know you were this turn's most avoided
team. Care to know who is the most afraid of you? And it looks like WARCKERS
avoided them the most this turn. What a pack of would be losers, if you ask me.
Hmph. HOMELESS PRINCE was challenged more times this turn than the Duelmaster. Now
was the DM insulted or feared? Heh, heh. I notice GIMETHATSHIELD challenging down
21 points to fight BEAVIS, KELLUMBO'S KIDS doubtless has some rotten excuse for such
an insult to honor. And golly gee, GIMETHATSHIELD overcame BEAVIS. Aren't we all
surprised and impressed? Looks like time for laurels or hemlock, VAJRA VALMEJAR was
challenged by MAXIMUS, who was ranked 43 points below her. And sure, MAXIMUS lost
alright, but gained 1 recognition for its pains. And pains they may indeed be! Now
here's guts and stupidity all rolled into one, ERICKA BEARICKA challenged up 39 to
take on WARPATH of X-FORCE. But here's a pretty tale--ERICKA BEARICKA did lose the
fight, but gained 6 worth of recognition. Some long shots can pay off, I guess. I
suspect either a 21 will or a 21 ego on this one, but DIESEL has challenged up by 35
in an attempt against HUMMEL. And sure, DIESEL lost alright, but gained 3
recognition for his pains. And pains they may indeed be! And we have SNAKE CHARMER
in a challenge, going down 12 points for the fight. Guess what? I thought SNAKE
CHARMER showed great skill and promise when he subdued CRAZY HORSE. All right, so I
slept through it! Big deal!
Some people like volunteer work in the hospitals. I volunteer for ANDORAK's
morgue. More variety. Titanium shields and bamboo daggers, guess what brave team is
developing these kinds of weapons?
What does the ANDORAK arena have in common with the inns? It's just as
comfortable to sleep in either place. Ha ha ha ha! Phlllt! Just had to do that
before I leave the fine city of ANDORAK. I feel much better now. Glad to see the

Khalli -- You know, I'm not going to argue with you. I have my points and my reasons
and I don't need to justify them any more. My gladiators and I stay at the same home
we always have, and always will. They will be lounging on the same deck, in the same
yard, at the same bars. The only difference is my warriors go a couple more blocks
to the Talahya arena. I am in a contest there and my warriors are supporting that
effort and each other. I like them to stay together. Have you looked at a map of

Schendirk -- I live in a dark underground fortress most of the time (well, actually
not these days since I get to fight on the isle for now and my hubby is still at home
as always), so I like big bright flowers, like Sunflowers! -- Amilie

quit having you use the short spear and that you had a good fight against him, but
I'm very surprised to have lost to you myself. Perhaps I'll try you again just too

Adie -- Well, I hope you come back eventually. I don't think that Talahya will be
any more conversational or enjoyable for you. Andorak, 12 teams, Talahya 42 teams.
Andorak had almost twice as many personals and it was only you and Judith. If you're
just trying to make a point, consider what the results are for you, because I doubt
any sort of protest is really going to change the way other people play. Getting
some of the other managers to write more consistently (like me) may slowly grow a
more conversational atmosphere and improve things. But, when you look at the size of
the arena and the general lack of ads in most ADM arenas, it's not really surprising.
I always intend to write ads and it gets away from me, but when I go on a streak, I
can really let them fly. Convince some of your Andorian brethren from 11 and
elsewhere to run in ADM, come to Andorak, and participate. Growing the arena and
slowly starting to get contributions from more managers is the best you can expect.

Winter Face-to-Face Tournament XXXVI in Tempe!
Our next winter FTF will be held in Tempe, Arizona, January 20-22, 2006. It will be
held at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Tempe, Arizona (480-894-7444), the same hotel as
last year by popular request. Room rates are $139.00 per night (same as last year!),
1-4 occupancy, which includes full cooked breakfast, complimentary manager's
reception, free airport shuttle, free parking, high speed internet (for extra charge),
fitness center, jacuzzi, and pool. The rooms are blocked--please make your
reservation soon before the block is released! (This is prime season for Phoenix, and
several people were unable to book rooms last year because they waited too long.)
