Reflections by the King's Sentinel
Ahh, this throne sure feels comfy. I'll keep it short this week, since it is my
first time up here in quite a while. Sweet Tooth, this week's challenge goes to you.
It is not often we get challenged, and Blind Girl was none to pleased with the
results. So, my thirteen fight winning streak goes on the line against you. Let's
see how you like it when the TP swings back.

REPORT FROM WITHIN THE TOWER
So, the Unknown Spymaster showed up with a bag over his head. Ha. Since he'd
forgotten to cut eyeholes in the bag, it was easy to steer him down the pier and off
into the lake. So much for him. True, he will be resurrected, but it was a
satisfaction even so.
Before I go on to the usual insults, ah, the comments, I want to thank Vision
for the captain's column and Generalissimo Puerco for note in the personals. There
are times when it's hard to believe anybody reads this stuff, and a little comment
now and then is reassuring. And Leeta for hitting her warriors upside the head and
getting them back to talking, but my thanks there are less profound because she is
simply doing what we all expect of her, and high time. That "strike" should never
have been allowed to begin!
Ah, well, to work:
Superior Forces were most avoided, doubtless due to their superiority.
Kellumbo's Kids were the most avoiders.
Lukarian Lamorak got the most challenges. Is this the masculine form of Lucy of
Lammermoor?
Out of twenty fights, nine involved standbys and five were challenge matches.
Nobody died.
So... PARNIAN (41-4138) (24-33-1,54) of WANDERERS fought SHINORR (105-1) (0-0-
0,60) of Mysterious Monstrous Mimes. PARNIAN was overpowered by SHINORR in an
exciting 1 minute uneven fight. If they start writing personals, they can't be

duel. Poor Beryl's been out three times now today. It seems a lot to ask of one
standby. Or... are we seeing clone standbys?
TALISMAN SHIELDGUARD (11-4304) (74-88-0,220) of SCARLET KNIGHTS fought POETIC
JUICE (66-2975) (56-40-0,195) of ANDORIAN UNIVERSITY. TALISMAN SHIELDGUARD viciously
subdued POETIC JUICE in an action packed 2 minute duel. Talisman squeezed the poor
Juice unmercifully. Not that one looks for mercy in the arena, but still, it's the
standard form of description.
WARPATH (66-2926) (86-139-4,219) of X-FORCE fought HUMMEL (14-1404) (75-135-
3,192) of MIKES. WARPATH was narrowly defeated by HUMMEL in an action packed 2
minute melee. I know about Hummels. That sappy smile, the too-cute-for-words gag-me
poses. It's enough to curdle anyone. Very hard to fight when you've been curdled.
SOLAR SISTER (71-5609) (36-13-1,228) of THE FURIOUS FIVE fought SANDS (11-4123)
(62-112-3,190) of SCARLET KNIGHTS. SOLAR SISTER bested SANDS in a crowd pleasing 3
minute bloody match. Sands was beaten on the sands? How appropriate. Not that he'd
be likely to fight somewhere else. I'll say one thing about Andorak's gladiators,
they save all their fighting for the arena. Quietest part of town after dark.

(66-3871) (54-102-4,215) of X-FORCE. Up 25. HOMELESS PRINCE devastated WOLVERINE in
a popular 1 minute uneven Challenge brawl. I don't believe I've seen a wolverine
with a red face before.
BLIND GIRL (22-6041) (34-11-0,185) of KELLUMBO'S KIDS challenged LUKARIAN
LAMORAK (11-4841) (59-70-1,184) of SCARLET KNIGHTS. Down 1. BLIND GIRL defeated
LUKARIAN LAMORAK in an exciting 3 minute Challenge fight. This is Lukarian the Most
Challenged, remember. And I guess Blind Girl had a Guide Pigeon on her shoulder and
the stewards passed it as allowable where a dog would not be.

1282) (78-134-4,214) of MIKES. Down 33. GRANDPA RAT subdued SMITH in a 2 minute
Challenge melee. Which brings up the question: Will Smith notice?
And for the title: VISION (26-1573) (99-46-4,366) of KELLUMBO'S KIDS challenged
SWEET TOOTH (11-3248) (36-25-0,217) of GERFEL'S FRIENDS. Down 149. Does this count
as a "nefarious, un-Andorian downchallenge" from the throne? Well, okay, it counts,
but does it count as MUCH? VISION slimly won victory over SWEET TOOTH in a 10 minute
Challenge Title fight. Regardless of whether it was Un-Andorian or not, Vision
retains the title, to no one's great surprise.
