REPORT FROM WITHIN THE TOWER
So why does that man have a bag over his head? Is he the Unknown Spymaster?
NO! He's sooo ugly, his mother put a bag over his head at birth and he can't stand
to be without it now. A kind of agoraphobia, I suppose.
Royal Flush was, as so often, avoided the most. It was the Andorian Knights who
had other fish to fry this month.
Juan got the most challenges, I hear he was offering to buy drinks for anyone
who would challenge him and thus help him get into the spy report. There are many
strange ambitions in the world.
We had a mere nineteen fights today, which is sad, or maybe disgusting,
depending on how many beers one has had before thinking about it. That's a
depressing number of fights, is what it is, especially with three--I think it was
three-standbys out there. Only six challenge matches, not even a third of the
fights! But three deaths, which must count for something. Too bad Desiree (not her
real name) isn't here to tell us what it means. Or maybe it isn't too bad. The
kid's got flamingos on the brain these days.
However, since we had a mere nineteen fights, I will give you my insights about
all of them. Or what passes for insights these days.
BEAR ACUDA (47-4995) (17-9-1,81) of THE BEAR'S PAW fought SNOWFALL (45-3473)
(33-22-0,79) of NORTHERN LIGHTS. BEAR ACUDA subdued SNOWFALL in an action packed 1
minute bout. Everyone knows that bears don't mind a little snow.
RON WEASLEY (54-2872) (24-10-1,83) of GRYFFINDOR HOUSE2 fought SUNFLASH (45-
3474) (26-29-1,66) of NORTHERN LIGHTS. RON WEASLEY was devastated by SUNFLASH in an
action packed 1 minute one-sided bout. You call that action-packed? There was this
kid stumbling around, totally blinding by the reflections of a (very) distant
snowfield, and this chick whopped him a few times. Bah. It's all done with mirrors.
CANNONBALL (72-5313) (16-12-0,53) of X-POSSE fought RIRORNI SOLDIER (106-3) (0-
0-0,30) of the College of Mimes. CANNONBALL overpowered RIRORNI SOLDIER in a crowd
pleasing 1 minute one-sided match. This was not, of course, a REAL Rirorni Soldier,
as those are getting very thin on the ground. But he put on a good show, don't you
think?
ORPHAN (72-5463) (17-9-1,84) of X-POSSE fought ALASTARIAN DESERTER (106-1) (0-0-
0,30) of the Unfortunate Victims of Political Turmoil. ORPHAN executed ALASTARIAN
DESERTER in a 1 minute one-sided match. Some people can't stand a deserter,
regardless of the reasons.
EGAN FORN (39-3295) (28-46-0,50) of THE MIDDLE WAY fought FANTA FUELED FUZZ (8-
4092) (25-8-1,84) of BLACKTHORN ORCS. EGAN FORN was bested by FANTA FUELED FUZZ in a
popular 3 minute brawl. FFF must be potent indeed, to defeat the, ahem, "highly
skilled" Egan Forn. You think?
MAGOG (31-5031) (20-11-2,82) of DARQUE FORCES fought RUSTED SOUL (46-2603) (15-
6-0,51) of CYNICAL DELUSIONS. MAGOG vanquished RUSTED SOUL in a crowd pleasing 1
minute one-sided fray. Vanquished, okay, but did he polish off any of the rust?
RANDOM MATCHUP (96-1048) (15-10-3,95) of OVERRATED fought MELTDOWN (8-4353) (21-
9-0,49) of X-FORCE. RANDOM MATCHUP savagely slew MELTDOWN in a popular 15 minute
bloody duel. Let me guess: Meltdown is having a losing streak. But this is taking
things too far.
PROOKIE (78-2345) (26-19-1,115) of PBA fought YIP AGAIN (28-3512) (25-19-2,96)
of THE PENTARCHY. PROOKIE beat YIP AGAIN in a crowd pleasing 1 minute conflict.
That name... (shudder)
PINE (78-2350) (27-14-1,105) of TREE PEOPLE fought IMPRISONED SPY (106-9) (0-0-
0,170) of the Unfortunate Victims of Political Turmoil. (After all, what is there to
spy on HERE?) PINE was devastated by IMPRISONED SPY in a crowd pleasing 1 minute
one-sided battle.
KYRA (51-3774) (48-53-1,175) of SAND DANCERS fought BEARNICE (47-2847) (18-22-
6,112) of THE BEAR'S PAW. KYRA was demolished by BEARNICE in a crowd pleasing 1
minute mismatched match. Sometimes you get the bear, and sometimes the bear gets
you.
MIRTA (51-4033) (54-36-1,188) of SAND DANCERS fought TASHIA (11-2740) (35-45-
1,201) of DEADLY DE-PARTED. MIRTA was overpowered by TASHIA in a popular 1 minute
gory uneven match. I heard that Mirta was urging Tashia to de-part immediately.
POOH-BEAR (47-1050) (32-31-0,197) of THE BEAR'S PAW fought SANDPAWN (11-4169)
(56-30-1,205) of ANDORIAN KNIGHTS. POOH-BEAR savagely defeated SANDPAWN in an action
packed 10 minute gory duel. This has got to be a tad depressing for the Pawn.
SIR LY (10-4116) (50-38-0,219) of SIR AGLIO fought IRONBAR (47-182) (35-23-
0,205) of NEMESIS. SIR LY viciously subdued IRONBAR in an action packed 3 minute
gruesome duel. Can nobody do anything for this Sir's vile mood?

3,62) of VALHALLA. Up 1. BABY SPLIT was overpowered by BALDER in a popular 1 minute
mismatched Challenge brawl. A hint, Baby Split: Don't comment on Balder's pate.
STIGMA OF STUPID (31-4948) (20-4-1,136) of UNFIT TO BE ORCS challenged SHADE
(47-983) (27-11-2,115) of NEMESIS. Down 21. STIGMA OF STUPID devastated SHADE in a
1 minute one-sided Challenge duel. No surprise in this one.
300 (78-2346) (27-20-0,175) of PBA challenged DANNIA TYL SIO (52-3393) (44-28-
1,182) of SAND DANCERS. Up 7. 300 assassinated DANNIA TYL SIO in a 1 minute
mismatched Challenge match. Some people just can't handle large numbers. Nothing to
be ashamed of, but the higher math... no.
MATADOR (11-4139) (51-40-2,184) of ANDORIAN KNIGHTS challenged SPLIT (78-2347)
(28-20-0,185) of PBA. Up 1. MATADOR was viciously subdued by SPLIT in a crowd
pleasing 3 minute Challenge brawl. Especially when the split in question is applied
with a sharp blade to the body of the opponent....
GRINNON BEARIT (47-2955) (31-17-3,191) of THE BEAR'S PAW challenged JUAN (41-
2304) (35-25-0,210) of DREAM TEAMS. Up 19. GRINNON BEARIT demolished JUAN in a
popular 1 minute one-sided Challenge melee. So much for being Most Challenged, eh,
Juan?
And for the title, SANDBLASTER (11-3899) (63-59-3,262) of ANDORIAN KNIGHTS
challenged SNOOPER (1-5154) (48-24-3,228) of MIKE'S MISFITS. Not a titlist to sit on
his duff, Sandblaster. Down 34, which means little when it's from the throne.
