Reflections by the Chief Tower Guard
Only 7 stylemasters, they say. So, we need a ripper, a waste, and a basher. I'm
sure Hagar Bluetooth would love to join us and provide the waste. The other two might
need someone else to offer up. We shall see. The arena as a whole could use some
more activity, but 11 fights isn't terrible. I think Nomad provided 7 warriors to the
mix. The arena would probably look a bit bigger if everyone that fought actually
showed up in the newsletter. Both Sigurd and Stay Puft fought for our squad this turn
but neither seems to be listed in the rankings. They are both a bit perturbed by
this. Somehow I think neither would be bothered as much had they lost last turn. Can
we get some help putting these guys back into the rankings?
Meanwhile I shall enjoy my stay at the top. I suspect it will last until Crip
shows up again with his army. That will add to the numbers a bit and bring in some
warriors with tons of FE and crazy records. But while I am your Tower Guardian I
shall endeavor to bring honor to the position. I'd challenge, but those are my
teammates below me. Good luck to everyone on the sands this turn!

Hey there!
We saw thirteen fights today, which is an improvement. Nobody died. There was one
challenge.
SYMGARA (54-3300) (15-13-3,43) of LEGIONS OF FATE challenged HAPPY (50-3399) (16-22-
1,43) of STRANGE TUNES. SYMGARA was devastated by HAPPY in a 1 minute mismatched
Challenge fight. Symgara was the only fighter who posted avoids. According to Debby
Tonte, Striker Force was the only team avoided. According to somebody else, Symgara
avoided Dark Toads. Well, since Dark Toads isn't even on the team list, somebody's
lying, eh?

of VIKINGS. LOFTIS handily defeated SIGMUNDR in a 1 minute one-sided conflict.
Huntsman said that neither Sigurd nor Stay Puft were listed in the rankings last turn.
And he's right, they weren't. I don't know why. I don't think Sigurd fought today,
but Stay Puft did. And again, neither one is listed. Dang it! Fighters should get
recognized for their deeds. I'm going down to the Commission offices to yell at
somebody.

SUMMER FACE-TO-FACE IN TAMPA, FLORIDA
We have planned our summer FTF for July 19-21, 2019, in Tampa, Florida. It will be
held at the Embassy Suites Tampa Airport Westshore. Room rates are $125 per night,
1-2 occupancy. There's free wireless throughout the property as well as a fitness
center, outdoor pool, and business center, as well as a resturant and bar inside the
hotel. They have the usual Embassy Suites amenities we know and love: complimetary
cooked-to-order breakfast and evening reception, plus there's a free airport shuttle
and parking is only $4/day. The rooms are blocked -- ask for the Reality Simulations
block (RSS). Reservations must be made by 6/20.
