Reflections by the Champion of the Horn
That fight is much more of what I'd expect from a Moist Towelette. If it
doesn't clean you up early, it is just going to dry up and be useless. That is where
I left it as I retake the throne.
This turn I will face either Azaghal or Almost Pretty. Both should be worthy
opponents, but I wouldn't expect either to beat me. Azaghal and I have had a couple
of decent fights, though, so you just never know.
Alas, though, I've been given notice. Assur is sending me to 100. He says
something about me being too good for this place. So maybe I should sandbag a
little, lose a few fights, and try to change his mind.
In fact, I've heard he is taking most of his non-Bashers away from this arena.
I guess that is what happens when managers start to focus entirely on the tourney
game... Also probably doesn't help that our stable faced 5 NPCs last turn.

Debby Tonte did the notes today. I won't say she's more accurate than any of
the others, but she's more fun to watch. What a tan!
Debby says that Color Me Suave was avoided by Sentinels. I don't say she'd lie,
but that seems unusually active for a manager here. Hmm, now that I check on it, I
see that it's TRUE. Avoids but no challenges. An interesting arrangement.
We had ten fights with no challenges and two standbys. These are them:
DIRTY DIAPERS (38-5071) (16-9-0,47) of BASH BROS CHILDREN fought R.O.U.S. (107-
4) (0-0-0,50) of Fine Imported Standbys. DIRTY DIAPERS was overpowered by R.O.U.S.
in a 1 minute one-sided fight. Since when did we go importing Rats of Unusual Size
to bedevil children?
WONTON NOT NOW (73-6069) (19-14-1,29) of PALINDROMES fought ALASTARIAN DESERTER
(107-1) (0-0-0,30) of Fine Imported Standbys. WONTON NOT NOW was overpowered by
ALASTARIAN DESERTER in a 1 minute uneven duel. Wonton got a loss of ten points for
this. Rather embarrassing, I should think.
JELLO KNUCKLES (42-4554) (57-56-0,168) of COLOR ME SUAVE fought THE UPRIGHT MAN
(10-5185) (38-52-0,163) of ALASTARIAN IDOL. JELLO KNUCKLES won victory over THE
UPRIGHT MAN in an action packed 1 minute duel. And if you think a fight is over when
the competitors walk out of the arena, you've never tried to clean cherry jello
splatters out of a three-piece suit.

76-0,173) of CENTER FOR OLDS. RUTH defeated PINCH BLISTER in an action packed 5
minute melee. Good work, Ruth.

31-0,202) of THE MAGNIFICENT MAGS. OBROJOBO devastated POCKET NEWS in a crowd
pleasing 1 minute mismatched match. We expect a tells-all interview in two weeks.
1977 AMC MATADOR (42-4116) (76-65-0,198) of COLOR ME SUAVE fought VIRGINIA, NO
SANTA (65-6623) (44-69-1,193) of GOT IT FOR CHRISTMAS. 1977 AMC MATADOR was
viciously subdued by VIRGINIA, NO SANTA in a 2 minute brawl. Virginia got 17 points
for that win.
ARUGULA (3-7180) (33-31-2,186) of VEGGIES fought OZAWINDIB (7-6212) (35-28-
0,170) of SENTINELS. ARUGULA devastated OZAWINDIB in an exciting 1 minute one-sided
fight. It's better than kale, Ozzie, so let's not hear any lamenting in the showers.

(97-146-2,216) of FOUND IN THE SAND. AZAGHAL defeated SHINY PENNY in a crowd
pleasing 1 minute duel. Somehow, Azaghal makes me think of some kind of massive
catarrh. Better get that Penny cleaned up before it corrodes!
