SPY REPORT
Greetings warriors! It is I, Zontani Sharp Eyes, here to bring report of the
clash and bustle of the weekly TOBIR games. Warriors--remember that glory waits
always around the corner! Witness how this week SAGE SOLDIERS went 2-2-0 to move up
3 in the rankings. ROCK OF AGES caught the eye of many in the gladiatorial
commission as he skillfully bested AVARICE and was awarded 15 points in recognition.
In one of the week's more notable duels, MJR FRANK BURNS put down SLOW LANE BLUES,
causing her to lose 3 points of recognition in the process. Due to its absence and
inability to defend the throne, DEPUTY DAWG has lost the title of Duelmaster. Heed
this! A seer has warned that if exactly 6 die in duels this week, the whole city
shall perish! Just remember...5 or 7!
Many and various are the arts of battle. In TOBIR "art" is a word that has long
since passed from the language! TOBIR, city of gladiators! Mighty among the names
of thy guilds is THIS MODERN WORLD, a guild shunned and avoided by many in the weekly
duels. Apparently the stalwarts of SAGE SOLDIERS are catching the bulk of jests down
at the challenging board for their large share of the avoids. Mighty fighters cannot
but expect competition from those below. COMMANDER POWLE take warning! You have
more than a few enemies in TOBIR. For some warriors honor is not important--only
empty victory. See, gladiators, how RACER of ANYTHING GOES challenged down 23 points
to LT KERRI STRUG. All the city knows the duel went in favor of RACER. I shall not
fail to spread the word in other cities of this "mighty" victory.
Is not Death a warrior's foremost adviser? Warriors, may this counselor stand
ready at your right hand forever! Some say a warrior is judged by the way he bears
arms. One thing is sure, better a dagger in hand then a sword on the belt!
If it were not for my skills as a spy I would have been mugged three times
already in TOBIR. Nice atmosphere you have here! Sadly warriors, now longer can I
keep thy company nor savor the ale of thy fine city. Depart I must and soon! Till
