The sages err'd not in their foretelling of a god descending upon AMEN-TEI, for
I, Novgorodny Vir, have returned! LIBATIONS 3? Who? SAFE HAVEN is the top team
these days, buddies! Nothing works for a team like victory (How's that for a
perceptive observation?) as ULFHEDNAR can attest... Good things come to those who
fight well, as NEON ODYSSEY can attest, moving up by 0. FRESH MEAT had cause to
celebrate, after PETER RABBIT got 23 points by beating BRIER THORN. A certain
someone should cut down on the drinking and practice more, after losing 14 points to
GROWLSK. (Discrete enough, HYE JIN CHOI?) Those who hoped for a new Duelmaster were
disappointed by MY MANAGER HATES ME, of WAYFARERS, who despite a 15-53-0 couldn't
overcome AMEN-TEI's Number 1. Word has it one team in AMEN-TEI is taking speech
lessons to try to bore their opponent to death. I'll bet it works.
So much to report, so little time! To quell some nasty rumors, the guys in NEON
ODYSSEY are not carrying any incurable diseases. No need to avoid 'em. As a woman
of good breeding scorns the "warriors" of ULFHEDNAR, so did that sorry team shy from
NEON ODYSSEY
The moving sword slashes, and having slashed, moves on... Oh hard! that to
strike a flame, the match itself must needs be wasting!
All good things must come to an end. Keep those sands bloody and the buzzards
fat! Like a mixed metaphor, and an overtaxed simile, I now bid AMEN-TEI farewell--
