After we sent the members at small to the field to launch rockets on their own for the first time a few of the members at large sat watching them through binoculars. When asked what they were doing one of them replied without missing a beat "We're nerd watching".

We calculated that their rockets climbed about 130 meters, based on the fact that they were launching from about 200m away and their apogee was 33° above the horizontal.
