In a cooler chest (so we could control the lighting and things wouldn't get disturbed), we mounted a camera (in a way that wouldn't damage the box, or get stuck to it) so that we could take time lapses of things like ice melting, or plants growing. To mount the camera, we used nuts, bolts, peg boards and plumbers tape.
