Clean, clear and concise documentation for installation on both Unix(Darwin)/Linux and Windows XP/2000. A simple sample application would also be good for those *new* to ruby as well as rails.

* [[Thijs]] van der Vossen ("Fingertips":http://www.fngtps.com): $500.00
'Dive into Rails', a high-level, practical guide for experienced web developers new to Rails. This guide should use real code examples (both Ruby code and SQL) to show how Rails works. Topics should include the \ActiveRecord features Aggregation, Association, Callbacks, Errors, Observer, Transactions and Validation, \ActionView templates, how and why to use helpers, Layouts, The Flash, Filters, \ActionMailer, and a solid example on how automated testing should be done.

* Name (company): Description that includes the kind of money you're willing to pledge and what kind of documentation you're most interested in.

Can i suggest that the first pieces of documentation be modules that are part of ruby's stdlib (i.e. ERb) ?
just my two cents

Surely that would be repeating documentation that already exists around the web and in the Pickaxe book? - Tim

No; there are large parts of core Ruby that do not have good, clear, free documentation. - James
