The helms used among the Duelmasters are extreme in their range of styles, but can be categorized into leather, steel cap, helm, and full helm.

Leather Cap (L): The leather cap is a type of head gear which gives some limited protection from a head blow.

Steel Cap (S): Steel caps are light, and can absorb tremendous impact. Their primary problem is that they cover only the top of a warrior's head.

Helm (H): Helms range from steel caps with mail neck guards attached, to a true helm which fully covers the sides and back of the warrior's head as well.

Full Helm (F): The full helm also covers the warrior's face, from as little as a nose guard to a fully enclosed cage which leaves only slits open from which to see.
